We believe this was Emily's first house/pet sitting experience and overall it went fine. Our pets were happy when we returned and our house was overall in the same condition as we left it. Our constructive feedback would be to review the communications and understand responsibilities for the pets because she left our pets for 12+ hours alone at the end of the stay, leaving early instead of staying until agreed time. The timing was in email, text, and our house instructions and she responded that she didn't have any questions. That was disappointing, especially when we were in another state. Thankfully we were able to make alternative arrangements for them (at a cost of $50).
It was a joy to have Kara and Matt stay at our house and care for our 2 cats. They arrived the day before we left so we were able to help them settle in and have an introduction to Tui and Kiwi. We felt very comfortable with them and knew before we departed that the house and cats were going to be in Good Hands. We were not the least disappointed when we returned! Tui and Kiwi seemed to have had a great vacation with Kara and Matt!!! They kept the house spotless and very tidy. We were very happy we chose them to be our Zeewoi.
Ruth was an exceptional house sitter. From the initial contact we had, right through until she left our home she was great. I had daily updates about our animals and received lovely pictures. It was such a reassurance to have Ruth there. All of our animals were very happy and relaxed when we arrived home. Ruth left our home spotless, she went way beyond what I ever expected and I was so pleased. She left a lovely treat for us at the end of her stay which was so thoughtful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ruth as a house sitter, I cannot sing her praises high enough. Ruth would definitely be welcome back for any future sits.
