I had the pleasure of housesitting for Kate and Russ, a truly loving couple and exceptional hosts. They invited me to dinner and graciously made their beautiful home, delicious food, and even a bicycle available to me! Taking care of Winnie was an absolute delight; she's an adorable, affectionate, and incredibly companionable pup. Winnie loves to play and snuggle, making her the perfect furry companion. And let's not forget the charming turtles, who were equally endearing! I learned so much from them during my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend looking after Winnie and her delightful turtle friends
Cindy & Rob are very gracious hosts. From the moment we met them we felt like we were family. Their attention to detail is fantastic. They took great care in making sure we were comfortable with their home and dogs. Their home is amazing! From the gourmet kitchen to the home theater, we were very impressed. The hot tub was an additional delight! Soaking up the beautiful Colorado scenery on sunny snowy days made us feel as if we were on a resort vacation! The guest bedroom was very comfy. There was one problems we encountered... we fell in LOVE with Kenai and Bailey!!! We were absolutely crazy about them. My daughter and her family came for a visit and wanted to take them home. When the family called to chat they always asked about the dogs first. Well, I can't blame them, we felt the same about the heartfelt love for these wonderful companions. We highly recommend this family to anyone and everyone. We hope to go back many times! Thank you Cindy & Rob xoxo
What a blast?! Starting with Christine. She is a great host... a little bit like in an Airbnb. We found a well filled fridge. She is really thoughtful. The information she gave about Jax was perfect. Good and "bad", nothing was missing. The apartment is very modern and it was just cleaned in time. If you want to explore Hamburg it is a pretty good location. Beach, City, Nature, nothing missing. But back to Christine: Thank you for staying in touch with us. We felt very comfortable. We even got a present when she returned. Love it! And Jax?! Stole our hearts! He is one of these cute little loverboys, who makes you laugh, cuddle him and just want to watch him breathing. Bad thing: Takes too much space in bed! Christine has a huge bed, but this little doggy... Christine said: Your house your rules! But honestly, if someone can kick him out: Respect!!! On our walks we could take off the lead and he was very nice with the other dogs. In the restaurants we put down the blanket and he stayed on it, while we could enjoy our dinner. During our day trips he was our little boy scout (found the ants and sheep poop! Thank you Jax!) and got quickly adjusted to our way we did car rides with him. He is one of these easy going dogs! And I still believe it is Christine's training, even if she doesn't admit it. It was a wonderful time for us and we want to return and hopefully will. It's only on the other side of the river! Highly recommended!
Corrine gave us a warm welcome! A quick car tour in her vehicle around the city when we arrived and a delicious home cooked meal. The guest room is comfortable, though the mattress a bit tired. Towels were fresh. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The bathroom is bright with a large shower. Spike is a sweet cat though a bit incessant with her meowing. We love chatting to cats, but her's didn't seem to have a reason to it. Perhaps it's her old age? It's good she doesn't come into the bedroom, and we used our earplugs to get uninterrupted sleep. You need to be patient with this kitty 😌 She was happy to enjoy a pillow on your lap to curl up on for some cuddles, which resulted in good purr action! The house was not as tidy as we are accustomed to, but we put a little bit of time & elbow grease into making it sparkle more than we found it. The house location is great and neighbourhood quiet. We enjoyed walking into town, a few short road trips and running the local trails.
It was so easy and wonderful❤️ Rosemary and Tom made us feel at home, we arrived early to meet them and the pets, they treated us to a delicious dinner, it was so nice of them😋 Sydney and Duke are the sweetest and most loving pets we've ever met😻 we didn't want to part with them. Please, if you sit for them, give them your love and hugs. They are very flexible in everything - except their meal schedule 😅 they will definitely remind you of this. The home is a dream, spacious and clean, 20 minutes from the best ski resorts in Utah, it's a gem. And the jacuzzi outside and the grill, God, it was like we were on vacation but with love from dear Sydney and Duke 🫶🏼 1000% recommend and we will happily come back to look after them again🔥🔥
We can't tell Paul enough how much we adore his little pups. They're extremely friendly, full of personality, and made our first house sitting experience so awesome! His apartment is only 15 minutes away from North Station on the Commuter Rail and 15 minutes away from the airport on the Silver Bus line. We loved spending time with Lana, Felix, Oliver and Ruthie and can't wait to see them again!
