Enjoyed caring for Lily. She’s a very cuddly girl that will follow you around the house. She likes her walks and using cooked chicken helps her to eat. Be prepared for lots of love for the attention you give her. The house is amazing , lots of space and so many good restaurants in the neighborhood. The beach is 5mins away and beautiful. The planes take off and are loud so bring ear plugs is light sleeper or use their sound machine. The area is a fresh food desert. You’ll need to use the train or a car to get healthy groceries and fresh vegetables sadly. What is wrong with the USA? Public transport is nearby and biking is safe. Miss you Lily! Nick and Steph are great too and very kind !

This was such a lovely sit - the location, house, and two adorable pets! Richard provided a clear welcome pack, and met me at the house for a settle in. Scout and I settled in to our walks routine - exploring the shopping areas and local roads….she does require a short lead when there are so many blossom petals and leaves to leap on! She sat without prompting at road crossings, and was no concern with other dogs - in fact the small dogs were the ones to make their presence known! Scout enjoys her food - so make sure everything is stored in cupboards and/or out of her long reach…we had a few adventures! She loved to play outdoors with her toys, or lie on the sofa watching out of the window. Mr Mouse appeared each evening for food, and spent each night with me- purring loudly and making puddings…such a fluffy joy! After his breakfast he would disappear outside for the day….don’t necessarily expect to see him before Scout has gone to bed! Scout was very good in her crate at night, and when I left her during the day to explore the island by car. The east coast was a joy to explore, including a stop at the donkey sanctuary. Osborne House was a short drive away and the walk through the grounds down the valley to the beach was glorious in great weather. I chose to travel via Lymington/Yarmouth crossing and this was so straightforward. It also allows for a great drive through the scenery of the west side of the island.
We so enjoyed pet sitting for Kathryn. Her adorable pets were easy to care for and so lovable. We enjoyed spending some time in the downtown Philadelphia area also, visiting our old neighborhood and some new places in the area. We would gladly pet sit for Kathryn again.
Sooki & Paco are two litte bundle of joy. The appartement is lovely and well located, many buses and subway at 300 meters. Communication was easy and quick with Benji & Shlomi. I would recommend this sit to anyone considering petsitting in Madrid.
