Judith & Terry
We had been full-time housesitting for nearly 2 years before arriving at this sit and we can honestly say that, of all the sits we've done so far, this one is definitely in our Top 3!

Sometimes you fall in love with a sit because of the animals, sometimes for the location, sometimes for the people, and this one combined all 3 of them! Jess and Layla are 2 adorable labradors. They are sweet, gentle and very well-behaved. Jess loves her belly-rubs, cuddles and walks. Layla, being a bit older, loves to toddle along and enjoys her peace. There are some lovely walks to take them on, along lakes, rivers and fields.

The house and the garden are gorgeous! Situated in a small hamlet amidst wheat and potato fields, the location offers the most stunning sunsets. The neighbours are friendly as well and everything is there for a very comfy stay! Plus beautiful Troyes is only 20-25 min away.

And what to say about Judith and Terry? 2 very warm and very hospitable people who did everything to make our stay a perfect one. We had great communication before and during the sit and spent some lovely time together when they came back.

We highly recommend this sit and definitely hope to be back one day.

Thank you so much Terry, Judith, Jess and Layla! We'll forever treasure our stay with you!

Megan
Megan gave us excellent instructions to deal with the rather complicated medications for the dogs, but the cheese always did the trick!
We sat for Mega twice - once with 3 dogs and once with 2. The animals were all easy to manage, despite the medication. The house was not as comfortable as we would like due to ongoing renovations of kitchen area and the need to leave the back door always open making it somewhat draughty and cold.
Hopefully this will change once renovations are complete.
We enjoyed exploring the beach , just a few steps away from the house and local restaurants and cafes aplenty. A Great location with lots in walking distance.

Sarah
Sarah was super helpful and communicative the entire time. She sent me a detailed list on how to use public transportation and gave restaurant suggestions to try in the area. She also let me come a day early so that we could meet since they were leaving earlier in the day the next day. They live in a really nice area that is walking distance to the train station in case you need to use it to go somewhere.
