Elliott and Debbie are very caring and attentive pet parents. They provided clear and thorough instructions, and were responsive to all communication during the sit. Their house is in a very walkable area of Seattle, with a lot of friendly neighbors, about a 10-15 min walk to a large grocery store and several nice cafes and restaurants. Charlie is a well-behaved, adorable Beagle who loves cuddles and will follow you around the house anywhere you go :) Though he doesn't like coming across other dogs on walks, he is easily distracted by treats and cheese, which he loves! He was really easy to take care of and a whole lot of fun to play with. I would definitely recommend doing a sit with Charlie.
Sweet loving animals, 10-minute walk to a gorgeous beach, lovely and entertaining homeowners - what more could you ask for? We had a fabulous 5 weeks in La Jolla at Roswitha’s home, with her sweet rescue pup Lissa and her cousin, the perpetually hungry and chatty Tilly. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the homeowners, and fell in love with their pets and beach town while they were away. We would highly recommend this sit to anyone (as long as you can confidently handle a strong dog who loves to chase birds!). We hope to return one day!
My second time kitty-sitting for Casper in Carol’s beautiful home! Just lovely in Australia’s Blue Mountains. Easy walk to Leura village and access to outdoor activities, delicious cafes and lots going on!
Ben and Katie’s place was great and communication was excellent. Anything i asked about was answered immediately and there was a local friend who checked in a few times. The cats were great but took dome time to warm up to me (not aggressive). Chickens were easy and i loved the fresh eggs. The house was very comfortable and only 15 mins walk to town. Cedar City had everything i needed and three National Parks within 90 minutes driving. Highly recommend this sit.
Stay at Bels and Duncans place was extraordinary. Max and I are very happy that we could meet them and their son and all big fur familly. All were very welcoming and friendly. Henry is still puppy soul and is the most active member of the family, cats are super chilled and Spuddy is just big fur bowl of love. Their lifestyle full of harmony with nature and sustainability is a big inspiration for us. Thank you for this opportunity ❤️
I spent a lovely weekend with Eddy, the chatty cat, at Caroline and Bruce's spacious and comfortable house. Eddy was a great companion, sitting on the radiator behind me - I needed to work quite a bit over the weekend - or sitting with or on me as I relaxed watching TV. Caroline answered the few questions I had before the sit really quickly. And Caroline and Bruce made me feel instantly at home the evening I arrived before they went on their trip the next day. And a lovely area to explore.

We've never used a pet sitter before but Robin was fantastic! She went out of her way to make time for us for an otherwise busy fourth of July week and worked with us on our preferred schedule. Our two cats can be a lot of work but Robin left us incredibly detailed messages of all she did, took lots of pictures, and even let us know we were almost out of something so we could pick it up before returning home! We're so thankful we can leave our pets without worry!
What a wonderful experience- Robin is amazing and after this week I think my cat might like her more than me! I was nervous to leave Juniper alone for so long but after the first update I knew there would be no issues. Robin made sure to send in depth notes about each visit and lots of photos (which always made my day). I’ve never come home from a trip away without June being sort of grumpy at me but this time she was relaxed and very happy, like we hadn’t left at all. I should also mention that the set up process was a breeze and we had a meet and greet beforehand just to get everyone acquainted. I can’t recccomend Robin and Pure Love enough!!
We have been using Pure Love Pet Sitting for the past two years and I can honestly say that our vacations and work trips are more relaxing knowing our pets are in good hands. Robin is the best! I have a senior dog with some behavior quirks and Robin worked with me to make sure my dog was comfortable with her before sitting for my 3 day trip. This was the first time I have tried in-home sitting and it was a great success! Robin is calm, confident and loving with my dog, which I think makes a huge difference in my dog being comfortable with her. All of my instructions were followed to a T. I received a detailed written report with pictures after every visit. I loved seeing the pictures of my dog playing and snuggling with Robin; happy as a clam at home vs stressed at a kennel. Robin is a cat whisperer! My cat is afraid of everyone….except Robin. He actually greets her at the door when she comes to feed him and lets her pet him. This was the best experience I’ve had with a pet sitter! My cats are messy eaters and worse with the litter box. Robin is amazing at cleaning up everything!! Robin and Jeremy are absolutely the best. Do not hesitate to reach out to them if you are in need of pet sitting. One of our pups was diagnosed with pancreatitis prior to leaving town. With the meds and strict food intake, and the idea of boarding them we almost canceled our trip. Instead, I reached out to the Pure love team and they scheduled a meet and greet to meet the dogs and come up with a scheduled plan. They exceeded our expectations and we will be a forever customer. We were fortunate to have such a kind and caring person as Jeremy taking care of our cat (Winslow) while we were away. Jeremy went the extra mile during each visit, including vacuuming around the litter box after scooping it out and cleaning up where he saw that Winslow had thrown up. My wife keeps marveling at how clean our house was when we returned! Jeremy also sent us lots of wonderful pictures of Winslow each day, including the three that are posted. It was clear from the pictures that Winslow was very comfortable with Jeremy and was enjoying his usual routines of drinking from the faucet and getting lots of attention. Jeremy may have taken better care of Winslow than we do! I’m sure Winslow is looking forward to the next time we leave town so that he can be completely spoiled again. We felt very comfortable with Pure Love Pet Sitting taking care of our cat and our house while we were away and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone!
Robin is amazing!!! I reached out to her last minute within days of our trip and she was able to squeeze us in her schedule no problem. We travel regularly and boarding is hard for everyone under the best circumstances! When your cats don't look excited to see you when you get home from vacation, then you know they like the Pet sitter! I have 2 older cats, 15 and 17, both on medication. Hillary was great! Her online scheduling system used to set up meet-and-greets/visitations is convenient and easy to use. The daily pictures and videos that she sent of my cat melted my heart. I will definitely be going to Hillary for pet sitting in the future.

I used Faithful Friends for a weeklong cruise trip. I’m always nervous to leave my dog and cat behind when going on vacation but after initial conversations I knew that Faithful Friends is prepared and has my pets happiness and health in mind. We set up a little meet and greet before our trip to go over everything and was very happy with Julia. She had a lot of experience and our dog and cat were immediately comfortable with her. I knew they would be in good hands with her. During the cruise we received updates after every visit. Including lots of pictures and descriptions on how they were doing. Julie and the team were outstanding. Great communication. We felt really good going out of the country just after meeting Julie and our sitter, who, by the way, did an excellent job handling our bully breed (Rott). Daily check-ins with a lot of photos. The photos were not necessary every day but I am sure there are some who would like that. Maybe every other just to save yourselves a lot of labor and effort, but it was appreciated.

Wow, where to start and what to say about our incredible experience with Kate's for our kitty-care... Let's start with our two spoiled princesses, Mimi and Dora, one inside and one outside that we dote-on daily. As we had planned to fly out of town, their care was a huge stress-point for us, and we researched a service for weeks. Add to that is the home-security factor as well. Having Kate's team being so experienced, and secured, we've found that not only peace-of-mind, but an invaluable part of our support system for our kitty-girls. However, even more than that, is the incredible and amazing care and attention to detail they brought to the service, and... AND... connected us with Michelle who unbelieveably bonded instantly with our ultra spoiled indoor kitty Mimi (who warms up to noone). Not only did Mimi bond with her, she loved Michelle's coming over! We have the camera footage, plus Michelle's awesome daily photo's and video's too! It's almost impossible to convey our appreciation and happy stun-factor, but EPIC is probably the best word! 5 Platinum Stars Incredible!!!!!
We absolutely love Kate’s Critter Care. We’ve used them a few times now and they really give us peace of mind when leaving our 3 cats alone at home. We would like to give a shoutout to our most recent caregiver Jane, who responded extremely quickly for an emergency visit after we realized one of our cats was stuck behind our refrigerator (seriously, cats are troublesome as they are cute). It was after 8pm, but Jane was at our house in 10 minutes and with the help of some neighbors, our kitty was freed. Honestly, don’t know what we would have done without her!!
I hate leaving my dog, but Kate's Critter Care made it so much easier! Beth was amazing! She provided updates throughout the visit and so many adorable pictures of my dog. My dog is high anxiety, and Beth really took the time to work with her and get her trust. Our flight got delayed, and I texted Beth and she was able to add another visit on super short notice to check on my dog. Highly recommend!
We've been using Kate's Critter Care for a couple years now, and it gives us so much peace of mind. Mariana is a magical human that has completely won over our kitties. She is the only other person besides us that one of our cats will come out of hiding to spend time with. The sliding scale has also been helpful so we can adjust our rate a bit based on where we're at in life while still receiving such great care for our boys. While Mariana is our regular sitter and pretty much another family member to us at this point, we have also always received great care from the other folks with Kate's Critter Care (including some special on-call cat sitting when I went into labor!).
Kate's Critter Care is incredible. We have been using them for about five years to come to our house and watch our cats when we go out of town. I never write reviews but I have to express my infinite gratitude and appreciation for Kate’s Critter Care. I had a business trip scheduled, and then plans suddenly changed when a death occurred in the family unexpectedly. I was able to add and change services almost overnight, and my petsitter, Mariana, has been so excellent with my girls (they might like her more than me by the time I come back!). I feel so much more at ease knowing someone can look after my cats in another state while I try to figure things out. Thank you to everyone at Kate’s!! We had recently moved to Durham when we needed a weekend pet sitter. Setting up the pet services with Kate's Critter Care was very easy and meeting with Rachel was great as she was very warm and caring. She stayed with our dog for the weekend and helped relieve both our anxiety and his when we had to leave him behind to go on vacation. Kate's Critter Care offers great service and has taken great care of our 2 cats while we are away! Whether it is a long weekend away, or a two week vacation we can always rely on receiving a daily update. We are always able to book a sitter, even when we wait until the last minute. Although I recommend booking in advance, especially around the holidays to get the sitter of your choice. We have 3 sitters in rotation now and all of them have been wonderful to work with. I was a client of Kate's for 1.5 years, until we moved to a neighborhood outside the service area. We have a menagerie of animals, but the primary client was our aging dog, who received exceptional care through Kate's Critter Care. Kate is very responsive, responsible, attentive to detail, and trustworthy. She is also very reasonable and flexible. All of our sitters were wonderful and went the extra step as they provided care and medications to our dog, who a was always eager to see his sitters. Overall, we felt that our pets were in caring and capable hands. We were very happy with the services received and would recommend Kate's Critter Care without reservations.

MoPups NC has been such a great daycare for our new puppy, Elmer. With two working dog parents it’s great for him to be able to play with the MoPups dogs! A sorry excuse for a business. They kicked my dog out of daycare with 0 days notice because she was too energetic and showed “no signs of slowing down” (she had been with them almost 2 years and they had voiced zero concerns about this specific concern prior)
Our pups absolutely love Maura and Bryan! They're very responsive and available. We know the pups love them because they get excited when they come to the door. They will accommodate overnight trips or stop in and send us the cutest pics to let us know they were there. I would highly recommend MoPups!
Josie did a fantastic job with dog sitting our two dogs! We got regular updates and she followed all the feeding and medicine instructions that we had for our senior dog. They got regular exercise and got to play with her pets too! We absolutely recommend and will be using these services in the future.

He was so patient with our dog while she warmed up to him and because of his patience she was so excited to see him and play with her new friend when he came to see her every day. We got daily updates and photos and you could tell our animals were very happy and well taken care of while we were away. We will definitely be using Lucy's again. Lucy's Pet Care provides the BEST service and care for your pets while you are away! After knowing exactly who was coming to my home, I knew that my pets were in good hands. I was very impressed with Callie, who took care of my three dogs while I was away. She gave any medication that was needed and sent me an email update along with photos of the furry ones at the end of each day. It gave me much relief knowing that my dogs were well taken care of. When I needed additional pet sitting, it was easy to get in touch with Lucy and Callie. I came home to an incredibly clean house with very happy pups there to greet me. We had a wonderful experience with Lucy's Pet Care. The pet sitter who came to our house was very nice and extremely reliable. He came once before we left for vacation to meet our cats and get all the information about their usual routine. We had him scheduled for twice daily visits and he was here like clockwork! He also texted daily updates and photos of our boys, which we really looked forward to everyday. I highly recommend Lucy's for your pet sitting needs!
We recently moved to the area and had to take a short trip away. We were nervous about leaving our 3 little cats in the hands of strangers, but had to do it. When I first contacted Lucy, I left a message late in the evening, thinking that she would return the call the next day. I was so wrong - she returned it within 5 minutes! :) Needless to say, this was indicative of our entire experience was with Lucy's Pet Care service. Everyone is very friendly and very efficient AND, most importantly, very caring of our pets. Our cats were well cared for, had clearly been playing and enjoying the company of Daiane, who stayed overnight. What a wonderful gift to know that your pets are loved and receiving not only the food, water and litter changes, but also the attention, fun and love they all need. We continue to use them and will likely do so in the future, because we have always received the best care from Lucy and her staff. They are simply wonderful! :)
Lucy Moore has done two overnight stays (Dinner 'til Dawn package) with our two dogs and cat at our home in recent weeks. We have been very pleased and don't have a single complaint. Before the overnight visits, Lucy came to our home, spent some time with our animals, and talked through their whole routine with us to make sure she understood their needs. She also uses a full online profile to keep detailed records on the animals and their routines and requirements. Lucy was very prompt in all communications with us. She even arrived a bit early the first night she stayed at our home. She was great about keeping us up to date on how all three of our animals were doing, sending us pictures and text messages throughout her stay. She left our home in perfect condition, brought our mail in, and left us a detailed note about her visit. Most importantly, she took loving and thoughtful care of our animals while we were out of town. Our older dog needs medication and she was diligent about providing this to him right on schedule. We feel very comfortable having Lucy as a guest in our home. She is an excellent and trustworthy care giver and offers very affordable services. We will unquestionably use her service again in the future, in fact we already have two additional visits scheduled in the next month. Highly recommend Lucy's Pet Care!
We are new to Durham and have just discovered Lucy's Pet Care. We were matched with Callie, who recently took care of our two kitties while we were out of town for 4 days. The service was highly professional and well thought out. They went way beyond what we had expected when we first started looking for a pet care service. Callie came to our house prior to our leaving at no extra charge to meet our cats and to discuss their routines. We got daily texts- and pictures!- about how they were doing. Extras like bringing in mail, turning lights on/off, etc. were no extra charge. Both Lucy and Callie were delightful and I would highly recommend the service.
I Love Lucy's Pet Care Service. I have found there service to be easy to use with their online request for visits and scheduling. The billing process is easy also. Plus, the most important part is that they take care of my dog Lucy as if she were there's! They are always accommodating and flexible with my needs and changing schedule. Lucy’s is a LIFE SAVER for anyone who works or travels and has four legged children at home. My husband and I both work full time and can’t stay home all day. Our walker, Claire, is so kind and so great with our fur babies. She always sends us pup-dates after the visits with photos and videos, and it’s such a relief to know that they are in good hands while we are gone every day!
The caregivers from Lucy's Pet Care were very kind and thorough taking care of our dog and cat while we were away on a long weekend. The house was as clean as we left it, and the pictures they sent after each visit put our minds at ease on how the animals were doing. They even set the newspapers on our current stack neatly and out of the wet plastic!

My wife and I were headed out of town and our house sitter backed out on us last minute. We googled “local Pet Sitting” and called 4 Paws and several others. Well let’s just say “these guys ROCKED!!” They responded quickly and were sympathetic. They sent someone out immediately to do a “meet and greet” with us and our dog. We were able to have them come 3 times a day while we were out of town and our dog did well remaining in the comfort of his own home. If you love your pet and value personable reliable service 4 PAWS PET SITTING is the number one choice.
