Katriina sat with my kitties this past weekend and I couldn't have been happier! She was communicative and responsive; she sent photos and updates on the pets goings on. My house was clean and the pets happy when I returned. I highly recommend her and hope she comes back to care for them again!
The best sit I have ever done!! Natalie and Brett were the ultimate hosts and I fell in love with Delano and Diego Thankyou both SO! Much!!
Linus is a truly delightful dog - good natured, flexible, loves being outside, also a cuddler. The condo opens right onto the wetlands, bike path & reservoir, and tonne of hiking everywhere! By far our favourite house sit so far.
Sarah is a great host and gets everything ready in Guildbook. She is very easy-going and always available on WhatsApp for contact. The house is very comfortable and close to everything; it's within walking distance to Westfield and just a 5-10 minute drive to the beach! Socks and Izzy are incredibly adorable, loving, and affectionate. Their enormous love and friendliness made us extremely happy and feel loved from the beginning to the end. They cheered us up every morning and every time we came back! We feel sad to leave them and will miss them dearly!
What an amazing stay! Charley is an absolute angel of a pup – perfectly behaved, trained, and calm. He has a loving personality and is very quick to accept new people into his pack. I may have spoiled him with belly rubs...but they were all well deserved, as it was a total joy to watch him. Cynthia and Allen are wonderful people and their home is an oasis. Surrounded by the beautiful Connecticut countryside, there's plenty of space to roam. The hot tub and sauna don't hurt either!! This space is ideal for those who work remotely, enjoy peace and quiet, and maybe want to work on a creative project. There's a ton of great artwork around the house – very inspiring. Can't wait to return to this gem of a place/pup!
I was very lucky to pet sit two wonderful animals. They are so funny. They made me laugh every time. I have dozens of pictures of Hazel the Dog and Raita the Cat on my phone. Very low maintenance pets, so easy to watch, but so much joy! Hazel loves to play fetch! And Raita loved to lay on my laptop. I am missing them a lot already. The house is also amazing. It’s is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Seattle. It’s just 15 mins walk to the Ballard Fish Ladder, where you can see lots of salmon (Pacific Salmon pass through the Ballard locks during summer months). I feel very comfortable and safe. James and Nidhi were super nice and so easy to communicate with. We met before the sit started, they explained me all the details and gave the tour of the house. We stayed in touch all the time. I was having a bad headache in the morning they were arriving back from their vacation, but they were super nice and quite and let me sleep as long as I needed. Appreciate it very much. I don’t have a car, but James and Nidhi let me use their car - and one morning I drove to get myself a nice coffee and some groceries! So nice of them. Overall, 10 out of 10. Such great experience sitting with Hazel and Raita! Thank you, James and Nidhi!
Hilary is a lovely person who made me very welcome in her home. She picked me up from Polegate station on arrival, and that showed me a couple of good walks to take the dogs on, cooked us a meal and we had an interesting chat. Her time away was on a cruise so we kept in touch every few days whenever she had a connection, but I was otherwise sorted with all the info I needed. Poppy and Finn are an adorable pair. Both were immediately very friendly to me. I wouldn't call myself a morning person really, but being greeted by those first thing is a great way to start the day. And it was always a pleasant evening settling with them on the couch. They are clearly fond of each other too. We never had any trouble they were a pleasaure to look after in general. Hailsham is a nice small town. As a non-driver there are no doubt some nearby attractions I missed out on, but there are plenty of shops etc within walking distance, frequent buses, and a train station in neighbouring Polegate. I took a trip to Lewes one evening which was no bother at all. Anyway, overall a great experience. Thank you!
