They were fabulous! Highly recommend.
Hannah's dog, Harper, is a sheer delight. I run a small dog business and literally know hundreds of dogs, and I would be ecstatic to be able to walk Harper or have her in my dog pack. I was a little worried to let her run loose on the oceanfront beneath Hannah's apartment, but since it is literally Harper's backyard, she knew exactly what to do, and I followed her lead! If I did need her back at my side, a few pieces of kibble did the trick. Harper was very cuddly as well. Hannah's place is very comfortable and very clean and I enjoyed staying there. Nothing like the sound of the ocean to put me to sleep as I often use Spotify Ocean Waves at home to fall asleep. I didn't have to this time! Hannah, thank you for sharing your home and wonderful dog!
What can I say... an incredibly beautiful house! I spent my birthday here over New Years and we absolutely loved it. The dogs were good as gold and real characters, they love to play and walk around the lake and grounds during the day and are happy chilling in the evening. The guest room has its own en suit and is really comfy with a view of the lake from bed! We felt very safe here and it was a blissful few days of peace and quiet. Thank you so much for having us it was lovely to meet Austin he did a great job of showing us around and made sure we had everything we needed. It would be a pleasure to come again x
Harvey is a very affectionate and friendly cat who loves lots of snuggles. A great companion, especially if you’re visiting alone! I met Alicia briefly and she was very friendly and welcoming and she was very communicative and helpful during the sit. The flat was in a great location too! Lovely neighbourhood and easy access to central London.
Just the most pleasant experience you could hope for. Cody, Josie and Molly were such sweet and gentle furbabies and Katherine and Chris's home was beautiful, immaculate, and yet still so inviting and comfortable. We had a wonderful time with all three fur kids. I was initially nervous about leaving Molly (the cat) outside but she always came quickly when called and seemed to like hanging out with us and her canine siblings more than being out. And Cody and Josie were so entertaining... especially at night watching TV with us! We are not normally big tv watchers but we were so amused seeing the dogs watch (and react) to onscreen antics that we watched TV with them every night!
We had a great time looking after Nebula. She is a sweetie and warmed up to us quite quickly. Mariya's absence didn't put her off her food! She's an indoor cat when in Alaska so she spends a lot of time keeping an eye on the front yard through the window. We miss her and hope she had as good a time with us as we had with her. Communication with Mariya was excellent, she gave us good instructions and was very welcoming. The house is great. It's set in the trees a few miles from North Pole about 20 minutes from Fairbanks so transport is necessary. We would love to go back.
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Olive Hill Sabina. Scott had prepared a very detailed and helpful Welcome Guide and any queries we had were resolved promptly with Emma via WhatsApp, which enabled the month to pass very smoothly. Holly and Bella are both very friendly and affectionate and easy to look after, each with their own amusing characters! They enjoyed their walks down through the olive grove to the vines and meadow below, although Holly, with her advancing years, occasionally decided not to come if she was feeling a bit stiff! The house is light, airy and very comfortable and the balcony is a great place for relaxation. We enjoyed the beautiful views whatever the weather, and some stunning sunsets. We were well supplied with summer salad vegetables from the veg plot and the chickens were beginning to produce delicious eggs by the end of our stay. There are many hill towns to visit locally and we particularly enjoyed the local bar for coffees and aperitivos, and the Podere San Giorgio family run restaurant (open Friday to Sunday) which served the best food we had in Italy in a delightful location. Both of these were only a few minutes’ walk away! Thank you, Scott and Emma, for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a great place for the final month of our Italian trip, and good luck with this amazing project that you are undertaking! We would love to sit for you again in the future!
