My house-sitting experience at Allison's apartment with Pip and Dot was great! Allison is very friendly and easy to deal with. The apartment is very well located, about an 8-minute walk from various subways, and well-equipped with everything needed for cooking, plus a rooftop with an incredible view of the Empire State Building. Allison also provided me with a desk and monitor for work, which I took advantage of. Pip and Dot are two beautiful cats that behave very well and require very little work; the most important thing is to give them affection. Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed our time at Matt and Jennifer's home. Everything was extremely well organized. We were left a detailed welcome guide that explained everything about the home and pets. The two dogs were very friendly and well behaved. Coco the cat spent every morning sitting with us while we had our coffee. It was fun watching them play together. The home is located in a very nice area, close to beaches and stores. We highly recommend Matt and Jennifer's for future house sitters. We would definitely return if asked.
We loved hanging out with Casper, Zorro and Neo! They were all so playful and friendly. Liza was a wonderful host, we stayed in touch leading up to the sit and during. Her home was comfortable, bright, and had everything we could have needed. We would definitely sit for her again!
Bob and Jan were so welcoming, they made me dinner the evening before they flew put the next morning. Bob made a very detailed list, day by day, of what needed to be done. It was nothing complicated, but told me what days the garbage, recycling and compose pickups happened. No chamce of missing one! Dakota, their mixed breed dog is a sweet girl and very well behaved. She is very shy and a bit reluctant to leave her home for walks without her Mom. But she loves to ride in the car to go for hikes in the area, which we did several days. Jan and Bob kept in regular contact by text to check in and give me suggestions for restaurants, hikes and things to do in the area. The house is big and comfortable and they have a beautiful pool in the backyard which would be great for summer/fall sits. They treated me like a friend and I really appreciated how kind they were throughout the stay.
I feel totally blessed to have housesat for Amy and Alan. The house is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and calm, with everything you could need, and their cats Bleecker and Mercer are the loveliest of companions. I had a very relaxing, comfortable stay and would housesit here again in a heartbeat! I loved it so much I didn’t even go out for the 4 days I was there! Just enjoyed being with the cats and having some much-needed downtime. Highly recommend. Fantastic communication throughout from Amy. Initial friendly phone call to say hi, then a follow up house manual online with all the necessary info, and a further video call the day before the sit, to walk me around the home itself, so I knew where everything was. Further helpful notes when I arrived too - as well as a message from their emergency contact, who also messaged me on the 3rd morning to check all was well after a very windy night! Then a lovely thankyou message too when they got home. Thank YOU both for allowing me to stay in your wonderful home, and thanks to the cats too - what a perfect way to end one year and start the next! Love Lisa xXx
