Our dogs love going there and the team is always so great remembering our boys and making sure we are well informed during their stay. AND having New Day Vet, Dr. Capron & team, on-site is also an added bonus. We have never in the 30+ years of owning dogs, had this great of experience with the personal care and love our dogs get while boarding there!!

I have brought my dog to pet paradise for grooming services the last year and have had great experiences each time. They ask great question/ask for photos to make sure they know exactly what your expectations for your pets haircut. Booking through the app is such a plus as I like to see the availability and find what works best for me. All the interactions I have had with staff have been positive as well :)

We are generally happy with Pet Paradise, and our dog seems to love it. Just be aware that they are not up front about their pricing. I booked a stay on their app for $56 per night then when I picked up my dog, I was charged $69 per night. They had increased the rate after I booked and charged me the new rate, plus a surge rate which wasn't mentioned when booking.

We LOVE Pet Paradise in Georgetown. Our dogs absolutely love it there. The staff is excellent , they are super communicative and do such. A great job with our three dogs with three very different personalities. Love the report cards and being able to check in on the cameras during the day

pet paradise is amazing. The daycare hours are amazing for different work schedules, and there’s lots of options so you can choose what’s best for your dog. But the real shining star here are the pet paradise employees. These people are heaven sent. It is so clear that each of the employees have a genuine love for animals, and the attentiveness and care they’ve given to my dog (who is very shy and nervous) has been just wonderful. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

I couldn't be happier with the service at Pet Paradise in Georgetown! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making both me and my dog feel right at home. They took excellent care of my pet, providing top-notch customer service and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and truly a paradise for pets. This is the only place I will leave my pup when I go out of town! A friend recommended it to me a while back, and while it’s pretty far since I live in South Austin, I figured I’d give them a chance, and have now left my baby there 4-5 times for several days, and have had an AMAZING experience! They keep you up to date, send report cards, and have the most caring, animal-loving staff! My boy Rowan is very sweet but shy and takes time to warm up, and I especially want to thank Brooke who has taken time each visit to get to know him, and he even ran up to her and gave her kisses this last time we got there! Means so much to me that I know I can leave him there and he will have a great time and be spoiled and comfortable. Thank you guys!!!

Absolutely LOVE Pet Paradise and so does Schatzi! I love that they have live streaming cameras, indoor and outdoor play yards, and always answer my phone calls when I want to check on my good girl! I always see them promptly cleaning any messes, and always keeping a watchful eye on all the pups. If they get too overstimulated or rowdy they get a few minutes of calm down time in a kennel and then resume their play. The overnight suites are also super nice and fancy! Overall, highly reccomend! Plus, you can't beat the price and they always do deals and provide a military discount!

Very disappointed. Costly yet you cannot talk to anyone directly. You have to do everything on the portal. The phone folks at the 800 number they make you use are rude and the desk folks cannot book for you any services. They just make you go to the portal. Who will leave a pet there for boarding and know you cannot call to check up on your pet. I will never go there again. New in Sun City so was very disappointed to find out this facility just looks good on the outside. I would never you their vet services too because I want a vet who I can call when I have questions.

When we booked our dogs’ stay, we imagined they’d be living it up, romping around with their new furry friends all day long. But to our surprise, they only get a max of 2 hours of playtime during a 24-hour stay! If you want them to have more time than that then you have to pay an additional fee on top of the $56/ night base price. The rest of the time, they’re cozied up in their kennels. Honestly, I think the dogs at the humane society might be getting more action than this. We’ve noticed that the play areas are mostly empty whenever we check in—whether we’re peeking on camera or visiting in person. With 100+ dogs supposedly booked at any given time (something the staff often reminds us of), you’d think those play areas would be buzzing with happy pups. But sadly, that’s just not what we see. The staff has always been friendly, but based on our experience, we won’t be returning or recommending this franchise to others. We were hoping for a more active, fun-filled stay for our dogs, and this just didn’t cut it.

Otto our boxer recently stayed with Shady Acres over the weekend while we were out of town and he had a great time! We are so thankful Shady Acres was able to accommodate our last minute request to board him. We will definitely be back soon for daycare and more boarding! They made the process so easy and helped us during a very stressful time considering our prior boarding facility canceled our reservation 4 days before our trip, at no fault of our own after 11 years of sending multiple dogs there. We are super thankful we found a new and safe environment for Otto to play and stay! He came home exhausted and super clean! Thank you Shady Acres!

We boarded our dogs there from 12/26-12/31, so during the busy holiday season. They are always very responsive over text which is always great/easy to receive updates and the staff was very friendly when we went in for evaluation. There was a miscommunication over billing (which was primarily my fault) and they refunded us even though they didn’t need to, and more than they needed to as the issue was again primarily my fault. They did it quickly and with a friendly note. I’d definitely board with them again off their customer service alone, especially during a really busy period. Thanks Shady Acres!

We absolutely loved our experience with Shady acres pet Ranch. We dropped our German Shepherd off for a three week training with Ashleigh and he came back a new dog. He’s doing wonderful at home. Ashleigh sent us multiple updates per week as well as pictures and videos of his training progress. We were able to visit and practice training with him in between, he really enjoyed their dog pool and we got to see what he was learning in real time. Would highly recommend!

Love this place, and more importantly my golden comes back home happy every time he’s stayed here. I used to board Simba at Action Pack in Round Rock, but they got too greedy for me, their staff changed too often and their service went to d0g$. I am so glad I found an even better environment for a competitive price and within 10 mins drive from home. Shady acres as long as Simba comes back with a smile, you have a loyal customer in me 🙏🙏🙏

My dog had diarrhea when taken home. Based on comments of staff my pet appeared as if she was going to snap at other dogs. My pet goes to the dog park and never has a problem. I then asked if my dog had outside time and staff indicated they did the best they could. When picking up my pet it took staff 20 minutes to find her. Very scary. This was a 6 day boarding stay. Provided 6 bags of food and they returned 4. Not impressed.

Non favorable admin changes. I boarded my dogs several times in this facility and I was always happy until this time. They usually fed them separately at no cost and this time they charged us an additional fee which was not in the first quote or on its website. They told me when I was there ready to go to the airport. What option do you have on that moment? Secondly, they used to send a full report about their interactions and behavior during their stay but this time the card was updated the date they arrived and with less information. How do I know how they were during the whole stay? In addition, there were no post on IG, no picture no web cam working. For the amount they charge, I would expect to know how my dogs were. The only reason I would come back is because I had good experience in the past and I just wish this new administration takes notice that what put them in business is the good service they used to have. If you are a frequent client, be aware of these greedy changes.

Last two times I have picked up my dog here he has been an absolute mess. This most recent time after Christmas was probably the worst he has ever smelled. He smelled like a toilet. This was after they "bathed him" before releasing him. He never has accidents at home or when he stays with friends so to say he had an accident on himself tells me he either got the wrong food or he is not being let outside enough.

2016 - 2018: We average a week several times a year. They love it. Also, and this so adorable, they give you a report card. I love that and I send it to my friends and family. They also have grooming. I have them bathe my dogs on the last day. The staff is very friendly and are genuinely interested in the dogs. They don’t have a lot of turn over, so when we drop them off our dogs recognize the staff. I feel totally secure about their well-being and happiness. 2018 - 2021: Sadly one of our dogs, Bear, got hit by a car and passed away. Riley took it really hard. About a week later we traveled and left Riley with them. I felt terrible about it, but they sent me photos of him having fun. I very much appreciated their thoughtfulness. We’ve boarded Riley many times since. 2021 - present: I’ve had good luck being able to board him kinda last minute, but I’m sure to book him as soon as I know our plans. I’ve even booked him months in advance.

Great service and care. My dog has a blast every time he's at Shady Acres. You can tell how the staff takes care of pets like they're their own. I've been taking my fur baby here for the last two years and we keep coming back! Highly recommended!

We just had our first playtime at Shady Acres and Peanut Butter LOVED it! He was SO HAPPY when I picked him up and he was SO TIRED in the evening after a long day of playing with new pup-friends. I really liked the daily sheet that came home with him, too! We are new in town and are so happy to find a place like Shady Acres for our pup. We will definitely be regulars!

We are 12-year clients of Home Away From Home Pet Care and it's name is exactly what it implies. The Owner, Ms. Wendy, cares for and treats every single boarder like they are family. Our dogs LOVE going to stay with Ms. Wendy and get so excited when they determine that's where we are headed! During the day, they have roomy areas to run and play which are always stocked with clean, fresh water. Ms. Wendy and her staff interact with each boarder multiple times a day and give them lots of personal attention and treats (if allowed). At night, they sleep soundly on soft beds listening to soothing music. Ms. Wendy has over 15 years experience in dealing with animals and is very knowledgeable. When our beloved dog Woody collapsed in her care back in 2009, we were overseas and terrified. He was in acute liver and kidney failure and the situation was dire. Ms. Wendy jumped into action getting him the best medical care possible while keeping in constant contact with us on his condition. She kept him in her home and watched over him like I would have, with a Mom's love and devotion. There is no one we trust more with our dogs!

Our two dogs are always dropped off at Home Away from Home whenever we travel. The dogs are able to have a vacation at a place that I trust while I am away on vacation. It’s a great facility where they play outside all day and sleep inside at night protected from the elements. They love it!!

Ok, so we found this place when looking a boarding facility for our furry loved ones, and decided to check them out. The owner was the one receiving us, and she was very nice. The place has great runs for your dogs to enjoy time outside, there is plenty of space outside. The only worrisome for us was the kennels inside. It is a converted garage which is air conditioned, so that is not the issue. Is just that it seems run-down, and they do try to keep it up, and you can see, but still requires more TLC and cleanliness. Management seems to care lots about their clients, however, with competition as it is right now, with luxury boarding facilities around, it is very hard for customers not to go elsewhere. They do give personal attention to the animals, but it seemed more like a place where there is a lot of loved but not enough staff to do so. Of course you will be told that will not be the case, however, as an animal owner and knowing how much they do demand, I can see how it could get overwhelming there. So bottom line is this, if you are looking for a boarding facility to leave your furry loved ones, and all other options have been taken, perhaps you could give them a shot (full disclosure, we didn't). The price is acceptable, moderate, however, considering that will be probably the same price you can get in newer facilities, that could hurt. I wish I had taken pictures, that way I could show you what I'm talking about. Please do not discard them all together, go, visit, take the tour, and you might like what you see, especially the owner which was very nice, and obviously do care about animals. We are just a little more spoiled and our dogs are as well, that's all, it simply wasn't for us, perhaps it will for you. Take care!

Dogs are left to bark and go crazy NON STOP from 6am to 9pm. We wake up to it. We come home to it. It is constant and never ending. Week days. Weekends. It doesn’t matter.... they just leave them to disrupt the whole neighborhood without any apparent consideration to the people who live around them.

We've brought our dogs to Wendy for years now. The dogs always have a blast, they get to play outside all day, and Wendy is fantastic to work with!

This place is great! My dog loves going. She gets all excited when we are pulling up! When I take her back she's tired and happy from all the play time. Would definitely suggest to anyone!

7 am on a Sunday and Thea dogs are left out until 5pm tonight. They will sit and bark and howl until then with no one around! Glad I can enjoy my day off.

Caretakers were very attentive to my dog's needs. My dog had an upset stomach during her stay at the kennel and the caretakers were thoughtful enough to think of giving her fiber to settle it. 😁 …

Suzanne is fantastic! We left town for 11 days and felt so comfortable with her taking care of our pups. She regularly sent photos and updates. We could tell our pups were well-loved and cared for while we are gone. We have already booked her again for our next travel. Update - Suzanne has now been watching our dogs regularly for two years. She is a fantastic communicator, reliable, and when we come home we can always tell our dogs have received great care. We are so grateful for Suzanne!

Suzanne has watched our 90 pound baby for months now and I would give her 10 stars if I could! She sends frequent updates, always is on time, is extremely reliable and most importantly so loving to the animals she cares for. Our pup loves Suzanne especially when she gives her treats! She’s the best and I would recommend her services to anyone in the area.

Suzanne is amazing. She responded immediately and was able to meet a last-minute request to take care of our dog due to a medical emergency and has been caring for our dog since. She asked all the right questions in order to understand our needs and our dog's needs. She does everything as we discussed and clearly really loves and cares about animals. We truly feel we leave our dog and our house in "loving hands" when we're away and Suzanne is in charge. We're extremely happy, satisfied clients. Loving Hands Pet Care is the BEST!

We had Suzanne caring for our fur babies for several years on the occasions we would need to go out of town, and we were so grateful to have her. We knew we could leave for any length of time and not have any worries about the care of our pets. She was always available, even on extremely short notice, and took care of anything we asked of her. Suzanne is very loving and compassionate with the animals and treats them as her own. We are sad that Suzanne has left us in Ohio and relocated to Texas, and we will all miss her very much.

We ❤️ Fur Your Pets! Erica and Cody are the best, not only at taking care of your furkids, but genuinely caring for your pets. They came out today to help us look for our dog who had gotten out this morning; I was near tears when they offered to stop by and look for him. We found him and it just cements my 100% trust in Erica and Cody in caring for our dog, Petey, every day.

My fur baby loves Erica and Cody staycations. Our bunny also gets pampered by home visits when we’re away. All of our trips are worry-free knowing our pets are well taken care of. Updated pics throughout the stay shows Luna always having a blast!!

As a new dog owner and searching for a sitter to care for my dog,’it was a long and difficult process. Places like hotels would just make my dog think I abandoned him. But, I found Fur Pets and spoke with them about my dog’s anxieties. A meet up was scheduled and they knew exactly how to approach my dog. Consistent bi-weekly walks are scheduled and when we went out of town for a week, my dog was walked and looked in on daily with no problems. Now he returns home from his walks happy and proud of himself! Definitely, would recommend this service for pet sitting.

I have used Fur Your Pets, Erica, twice now and each time I remind myself to write a review! Well, the first time I met Erica, she came to the house to meet my Basset Hound and Shih Tzu - I have never seen Sam, the Basset take to someone outside his family so quickly, he absolutely LOVES Erica. We have also dubbed her the "Sam Whisperer" as she can get him to take medicine like no one else!! (lol). Erica stayed at the house for a weekend that I had to go out of town. She sent pictures often and when I came home, the two fur family members were so relaxed and happy! Well, Sam, was sad that she left, but that's good, too! Erica is very, very trustworthy and takes great care of animals. She even did other things like water the plants outside and things like that! It was wonderful. It's the very first time I had someone in my home for a weekend to watch the dogs that wasn't family and it was absolutely no issue at all. :) The second time was when I had to go out of town just for the day and it was kind of last minute, but Erica came through!! Sam was so happy to see her as well. My Shih Tzu also loves her. Anyway, I just have to tell you all that I would trust Erica in my home, with my pets any time!!! She is absolutely wonderful! Update - I still use Fur Your Pets and Erica - she is family to my Bassett Hound, Shih Tzu, and 2 very large cats... they love her!!!

Erica and Cody were warm, accommodating and really took great care of my baby. They communicated with me, sent photos and made sure my pup had fun and I had peace of mind. The absolute best! We get pictures at every visit and updates. They take our packages in. Easy to schedule, almost always available when we need it. Our older dog needed medication and the occasional accident and they were great with dealing with that. Can’t say enough great things about them. It’s super hard to trust your home and pet to someone and when we found them it was such a huge weight off us to have someone we trust.

My husband & I went away for a one week vacation and left our two dogs with Erica and Cody. We received daily updates with pictures and our fur babies were well taken care of. Fur your pets is the most professional and trustworthy pet sitters you will ever find. I went through a ton of sitters and some were fine, some were awful, but Fur your pets was way above what anyone could expect. I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with Erica snd entrusting her with my house. I have never been able to feel totally comfortable leaving my pups with anyone. With Fur your pets, I literally felt zero worry. I didn’t think this could ever happen or that a company like this even existed… but it does. My dogs were happy, loved and snuggled. The directions I gave were followed perfectly ( even though we don’t expect perfection) and Erica was great at dealing with my elderly dog who needed meds and special considerations. I got lots of pics of my happy smiling dogs. Professional, compassionate, communicative, reliable and so so easy to work with. Erica was extremely observant and asked about any behavior in the dogs that she thought might be different than usual. My experience was 100% perfect. I feel like this is the holy grail of dog sitters, and… they are just really nice humans too.

Erica offered me great peace of mind through my two-week vacation. I have an old cat, Cyril, who needs daily medication. A few weeks before my trip, he had some appetite issues and had his dosage upped to twice a day. I'm always a bit anxious to leave Cyril for a long period of time, and especially so under the circumstances. With Erica, I quickly felt comfortable knowing that Cyril was being well looked after. During each pop-in visit, she was perceptive in monitoring his food intake and sent me many pictures so I could see how he was feeling every day. We worked together to adjust the details of his care based on what she was noticing. Erica also worked to make a genuine connection with Cyril, and within a week, my shy kitty went from seeing her as the scary meds lady to giving her his belly to rub. (Pictures from her last visit are attached!) I came home to find that my skinny boy had even successfully gained weight under Erica's care! I couldn't be happier about the care Cyril received while I was gone. I highly recommend Erica @ Fur Your Pets.

Amie is amazing! She took care of my doggies one of which is an older dog who has separation anxiety. She gave him his heart meds and their treats! It was a good sign when she took the leashes from me they didn’t even look back. They were comfortable and absolutely loved it there! I totally recommend Amie with your dogs and I know mine will be back 😊

Amie did a great job taking care of our sweet Gypsy. We just moved here and we're going out of town for the holiday. She sent pictures when we asked and we a great communicator. We will definitely be using her again!

I just love taking my fur baby to Amie’s at home pet care she has such a beautiful heart amazing spirit. She always makes you feel welcome. Our fur babies were very loved on and spoiled. They loved staying here and we loved seeing how happy they were. We loved how great the communication was throughout the whole boarding process. We were kept up to date on how our dogs were doing and felt at ease knowing they were well cared for. Our boys will definitely be back!

We left our fur baby for the first time ever. But he did really well and Amie send updates. (Picture below) Definitely will be using her services again sooner rather than later.

Amie’s at home pet care was AMAZING! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and lovely! Our pup loved his time there and they gave us beautiful photo updates. Can’t ask for a better holiday boarding experience! They were also super quick to respond to us, considering the holiday craziness we were very fortunate to get a slot. (Bonus is the two adorable Pomeranians)

We've been taking our little buddy to Amie's and he has an absolute blast while he's there. Amie even sent us some photos (see below) of his stays! He always is tired and ready for a nap after a day at daycare. So worth it!

Amie is very professional and kind. Also she offers many other services and have a very good space. She’s organized and sends updates with pictures. Dogs (and cats) are never alone. Staff is there 24/7. It’s her home. My dog is always happy there.

We just can't say enough about the AMAZING service and care Amie gives our big ol' Wally!! Recently we needed to have Wally stay with Amie and ended up having to extend his visit their 3 different times!! Amie could not have been more cooperative, patient and understanding during a stressful time. Knowing our anxiety ridden Wally was in the best hands possible took a huge weight off our shoulders!!!

My experience with Laurel's Leash has been amazing. Her knowledge about dogs & their behavior is impressive and she's extremely personable & responsive. Both of my dogs have very different personalities & she was able to work with them individually with a variety of techniques to get the desired outcome with each. We also had some initial challenges with introducing a new puppy to our older dog & Laurel helped tremendously with their interactions as well as easing my mind during the process. I've also used Laurel's Leash for dog sitting a number of times and it's always been a great experience. 100% Recommend Laurel for any dog training or care needs.

I love Laurel's Leash. I know whenever I leave my little dog with Laurel she will be looked after, kept happy and loved. Laurel is very good at what she does and the dogs thrive with her. She is an excellent dog trainer and is an even better people trainer. I am able to work with my dog with Laurel's advice and some of her bad habits have been replaced with good behaviors. I enjoy the frequent pictures Laurel posts on Facebook. It is a handy way for me to check-in. The communication is very good and I have come to trust that I don't need worry when I'm away.

Laurel has been a lifesaver for our family. We first reached out to Laurel's Leash and The Dog House barding for training advice for our puppy. With Laurel's guidance two first time dog owners managed to raise a well behaved and fun loving puppy. When we leave town the Dog House is the only place we trust to take care of our pup. They send us regular updates and photos - which is super helpful when you're far away and missing your dog. Laurel treats our dog like a member of her family! The Dog House is the only place I trust to take care of our dog.

Laurel is an amazing dog trainer - and she's hilarious and fun to boot! Laurel has helped me with my Cairn Terrier, Teddy, who has some leash reactivity issues. With her help, he's getting to the point where he's almost like a "normal" dog when we take him for walks, haha. We've also some agility training with Laurel and our mini Aussie, Beau, and we've had both the dogs board with her for short time periods. Laurel's Leash is great!

I have a petite 13 yr old boxer who Laurel watch one weekend in October of 2018. As soon as we first walked into the door we were greeter with a huge smile and warm welcome. My dog was instantly comfortable and Laurel’s friendly and positive energy was contagious. Received regular updates on my pet while in her care which made me feel relaxed that my pooch was not only in good care but was also being spoiled with extra pats and attention. I've known Laurel for a long time and she is just excellent with my two big dogs. They just love her! Each dog has a different personality and she knows how to adjust to each personality. Laurel’s Leash is a wonderful place for my Border Collie. She’s great about sending pictures or videos of the fun time my dog is having. She is so knowledgeable of the various breeds and what their personalities are like. I have learned so much from her about obedience. She genuinely loves dogs and taking care of them!

Laurel was a WEALTH of knowledge! I have a 2 year old chiweenie that I adopted who has zero training. Laurel not only helped me with ideas but she also explained the whys behind dog behavior! It was so helpful! I feel very confident now in my path towards training my very anxious dog and highly recommend Laurel!!

Great, reliable dog care! It's such a relief to be able to go on vacation knowing that my dogs are in good hands and having a great time. We originally used Laurel for training and walking a few years ago, and are so excited that she offers boarding too.

There is so much comfort knowing both my girls are always very well taken care of when we drop them off at The Doghouse. They go in super happy and come home super tired which is awesome! When I first started looking for a place for my 2 pups to go when we are out of town, I wanted a place that would feel like they were at home without being home. The Doghouse is perfect for them because they get to wander inside and outside as they please and sleep in their crates at night. To know they are not trapped in a kennel all day long makes this mama’s heart happy. Thank you Laurel for loving the crazies!

I've had Casey care for my cat twice now and he has done an outstanding job. He sends pictures each day he visits (that are very high quality I'll add) to show me he is there and how happy my cat is. You can just tell that he really cares about the animal and takes time to love on her in my absence. He has also done minor household chores like keeping the plants and moving the trash bins which was a huge help as well. His last service for us was very last minute because a family member had passed away and he made a very emotional situation so much easier just knowing he was here and taking such quality care of my kitty. I am so happy that we found Casey and Patriot Pet Services. Prior to hiring Casey, he came out to meet my pack to make sure that it would be a good fit for everyone involved. I hired Casey for a few overnight stays while I was out of town on business. In between the time I left for the airport and Casey was supposed to arrive, my dogs had attacked my bird. When Casey had got to the house he quickly sprang into action and got my Sampson the care he needed! He did such an amazing job keeping me calm and updated all the way through the process! He has always done such a wonderful job of keeping me in the loop of what is going on with my babies, and goes above and beyond with them! I feel so safe knowing that he is taking care of them. I would hands down recommend Casey, and Patriot Pet Services!

Sweet Kelly was our Pet Gal while we were out of the country, and I cannot sing her praises enough! We were worried about our sweet kitty, Willow, becoming lonely while we were gone. Kelly did an excellent job of taking care of our girl. She played with Willow & her favorite toys, kept her litter area nice and clean for her, and ensured she was well fed and happy. The Pet Gal did a superb job in caring for my cats during a week-long vacation. They arrived during the scheduled time, completed all the requested sitting tasks, took pictures of the cats so we could see how they were doing, and texted me a summary report after every visit. Highly recommend to anyone who needs pet sitting!

This was the first time using The Pet Gal. They have a robust online system with that makes setup and communication a breeze. Our very anxious lab mix was pretty stubborn at first wanting to stay hidden under the bed but Chelsea persevered and won her over in a big way. Was gone over two weeks so was a little worried about how my dogs would do but the daily pictures and friendly updates eased my mind. They received great care and were all healthy and happy when I got back even think my house was cleaner then when I left. Had several sitters visit so want to thank them all but big thank you to Clare, Suzy and Katie who I think visited the most. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have 4 Pugs, who are our "fur babies", as most are to their humans. When our son moved away, we no longer had a "reliable" dog-sitter etc. We took a chance on The Pet Gal and we are so glad we did. We love the fact that they notify you once they have arrived, provide texts if/when they have questions while at your home and notify again once they are leaving AND provide pics of your babies to show they are all well. I like that they use a lockbox for the door so you never have to worry about leaving extra keys-other than the one in the lockbox. They are Bonded and thus far, we've noticed they only seem to hire true animal lovers....so it's more than "just a job".... We have now taken several long vacations and we feel comfortable and not stressed so we can truly enjoy our time away. Give The Pet Gal a shot.. you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely love it. Staff is amazing, owner is amazing. My dog loves it here. She is usually very shy around other dogs and public places, but she behaves like she is at home at Second Home Boarding! I have a folder just for the photos taken by the staff, love going through it.

Second Home Boarding is absolutely amazing! Our little guy Mocha loves it here and gets excited every single time we pull up for drop off. They take such good care of our pup and I know he has fun playing with his buddies every time he is there by the pictures/videos they send with his report card. Julia is amazing and a great communicator, and she always greets us with a smile. As long as SecondHome Boarding is here in Austin, we will continue to use their exceptional service for our pup’s boarding and day care. 1000% recommended if you’re looking for a place for your pets.

My dogs, Sacai and Stacey, had an amazing time at Second Home Boarding! They were so happy and well-cared for, and I could tell they were loved by everyone there. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and they made sure my dogs were comfortable and happy at all times. I boarded my cat for about a week at Second Home Boarding and I was extremely happy with the service I was provided!! I had never boarded a pet before so I was very nervous about how it would go and how my baby would do. Julia was very warm and welcoming and she took amazing care of my kitty! I loved getting the personalized daily report cards filled with photos, videos, demeanor updates, and a few sentences about how the day went (photos attached are from said report card). My cat also requires taking medication each morning and I was very pleased that this could be done here. If I ever need to board my cat again I will 1000% be bringing her back here! Wonderful place, wonderful price, wonderful business owner!

Love Second Home! They do such a great job taking care of my boy appa, and they send us regular pictures and videos of him playing with the other dogs staying there. They make it easy to drop off, pickup and schedule appointments.

I usually never leave reviews, but this place it's amazing! My dog (Ron) is inlove with this place... It took him less than one day to feel comfortable (he is super shy), when I was on vacation they sent me pictures of him everyday and also a short update on how he was doing... Now I can go on a trip knowing that my dog will be in good hands!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but it’s an absolute must for Julia and the Second Home Boarding team. We’ve been taking our dog here for over two years (mostly daycare + occasional boarding) and we always feel so taken care of! They are great about scheduling, communicating, and love our pup so well. Truly cannot say enough good things!

Julia is FANTASTIC! I was a nervous reck boarding my pup Hans for the first time, she took all of his needs into consideration and sent photos of him being his happy little self which totally put me at ease! I think he was even a little sad to leave, I will definitely be using Second home boarding again for any future trips!

Totally awesome! Great staff. I don't trust anyone other than Serge to groom our schnauzers! They love him and are never anxious about being dropped off.

Literally the best kennel around! Everyone that I have met is so nice and you can tell they love their job so the owners must take care of them! My dog are excited to come here and tired from playing when they get picked up!

HORRIBLE experience. I got there to pick up my yorkie and the dogs were all out in outdoor pens in the rain howling to get in. I picked up my yorkie and she was sopping wet and filthy, even though I had asked for an exit bath. Apparently, you have to call the groomer separately to get them bathed, something I was not told when I checked her in and asked for a bath. Oh, and if you leave them overnight, you get charged an extra 1/2 day. So, what you see is not necessarily what you get. I would not recommend.

This place is terrible. I've used them 3 times and only because my normal place and back-up are booked. I just picked my dog up after 9 days and he couldn't wait to get out of that place. He is visibly dirty and filthy and stinks beyond belief. I've already found several fleas which he has never had!!!! I gave them 10 days of food and half of it returned. I'm sure my dog didn't eat at first but half the food returns tells me they are neglecting my dog. My dog had a bad upbringing before I adopted him so he has trust issues, but the other 2 places I board him at have had ZERO issues and constantly report he's loving and playful, at first needed to trust them but they showered him with love and kindness and he trusts them. This place reports that my dog is constantly aggressive and trying to bite them which makes me wonder what they do at that kennel. I was told that they no longer will board my dog and after I picked him up and can see his physical and mental state, I would never bring my dog to this place again. If you love your dog, don't bring them here. Not to mention, they tell me all of this after I pay and leave a tip. Bad business practice!!!!

I have a hard time trusting anyone with my dog, but Happy Trails is wonderful! When searching for boarding for my Great Dane, what really stood out to me was that the kennels are very spacious and they let the dogs out more often then other places. The staff are very friendly and the customer service is great! This is the only place that I’ll ever board my dog.

We took our German Shepard here for a weekend, and we brought him in with a muzzle because he's not always receptive to new people. We dropped him off Friday and picked him up Sunday. When we picked him up, he didn't have his leash or muzzle on and was just walking alongside the lady. So he was obviously comfortable and around people he trusted. I guess my only suggestion is to make sure you have everything you left with them so you don't have to make an extra trip back.

Happy Trails Kennel is a wonderful and trustworthy place to Kennel or groom your dog(s). The staff is great and make you feel that they will care for your dog as they would their own pet. Outstanding customer service skills from the staff.
