No te olvidaré querido FRED Our sit for Diana was not exactly plain sailing for a variety of reasons. Nevertheless it was absolutely worth the effort involved in getting there! We never got to meet Diana, however our dealings with her via phone, emails and messages assured us she is a lovely person. And if her cat Fred is any indication, she must be a real treasure! Fred is adorable, such a loving and lovable old man. Diana’s home and garden clearly receive endless TLC, if they were mine I don’t think I’d ever leave home! There is no Welcome Guide which could be of great assistance in locating Diana’s home and getting the connecting bus or taxi from Evesham (not Honeybourne; please, next housesitter who gets to meet Diana in person, help her to upload WG if she wishes). Local bus services are somewhat unreliable, or perhaps it’s the Diamond Bus website which is erroneous; we only had a 50% hit rate with buses arriving in accordance with the published timetable. Maybe a phone call to the bus company would produce more reliable information? We had some difficulty finding Diana’s house, but her neighbours are so helpful and caring. Special mention for Diana’s friend Evelyn who so kindly drove us all the way to Stratford-Upon-Avon. This is our lasting memory of Cleeve Prior: wonderful friendly people, beautiful homes and gardens and ancient church and graveyard, definitely not to be missed!
Susie and Andy are wonderful people. They provided us with all the important information before the sit and were quick to get in touch. Their house is fantastic! The view is beautiful (especially at night! ✨) and their interior is stylish and cosy. We immediately felt at home. The location is very central. You can be at restaurants, the beach & shopping centres in no time. Best of all are their three dogs. Alfie, Billy and Charlie are a bit older but even sweeter. The three are so cuddly and loving and were very happy when we spent the evening together on the sofa. We quickly became good friends and found them very easy going. We had an insanely good time and would look after the three of them again any time. ♥️
