We absolutely loved this sit. Susie was a fantastic host and welcomed us with open arms into her beautiful home. We were so grateful that she took the time to help us familiarise ourselves with the area and we even got to meet some of her friends and family - it was a truly amazing welcome. Susie lives in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by lush gardens and just a ten minute walk from the beach. It’s a peaceful and relaxing place to be. What made the sit even more special was the time we spent getting to know and becoming friends with Seb and Lewis - both such adorable kitties! They were extremely shy at first but within a couple of days came to trust us and we had such fun with them be it cuddle time or playtime. We’re going to really miss them both and would return in a heartbeat to look after them again. Thank you Susie for trusting us to take care of your two special boys - and thank you Seb and Lewis for making our stay an absolute delight.
We had a great experience at Tonya and Ted´s house! Taking care of Willow and Cooper was awesome! They are the cutest dogs ever!! All they want to do is play and receive love! We enjoyed their company a lot, and we would love to take care of them again! The house is amazing, we enjoyed every part of it! Taking walks with the dogs in the beautiful neighborhood is also great! Ted and Tonya were super generous with us! Really nice people, we felt really comfortable all the time! Luna is a very cute and well behaved dog & super easy to look after ;we had a great time together and we both really enjoyed our beach walks 🏝 Theresa and Thomas are very nice people with great energy and their place is very comfortable , modern,walking distance to Mercadona, to the beach ,to Estepona center,so it's definitely very easy to get around and enjoy the place and it's surroundings in great company ( Luna 🐶🥰 ). Thank you for a great experience! 🤗
We had a wonderful time watching Jinxie and Leo! They are incredibly well-behaved and an absolute treat to be around. Both are affectionate, and we enjoyed every day we spent with them. Janet and Cullen gave us such a warm welcome to their lovely home in Marin, we've never had better hosts!
We were made very welcome by Mike and Suzy into their comfortable home. Archie, the golden retriever, and Toby, the labradingerdoodle, are both very affectionate and characterful dogs. Both dogs have endless energy and are lots of fun. Archie’s manners were impeccable but, as very honestly forewarned by Suzy, young Toby’s lead training is still a work in progress. It was great though having the beach so close by so we could safely let him off the lead. The beach can be relatively busy at times but we found that we had both dogs’ undivided attention when playing doggy beach games with them. We also really enjoyed curling up with the cats, Eddie and Dale. They were very chilled and a pleasure to look after. The hens were fun to watch and simple to attend to. Suzy and Mike were easy to get on with, extremely helpful and communications were good. The house is in a superb location in the centre of the village yet is secluded in its own grounds with sea views. It retains many of its period features and is also warm and very comfortable. Fortrose is a lovely historic village with some small private shops including two excellent artisan bakers and a quality butchers. As well as the beach there are other good dog walks close by including a woodland path along an old railway to the neighbouring village of Avoch. In short we really enjoyed this house sit.
