Jazmyn was great. My dogs absolutely loved her and her family. She took great care of my dogs and house while we were away. She sent me pictures and videos of the dogs while we were away, and she communicated any questions in a timely manner. The house was clean, and all linens were washed. My plants were watered just as asked. Jazmyn borrowed my vehicle while she was here, and it was well kept. She even took us to the airport and picked us up when we arrived back at home. I would definitely bring her back for another visit. I am sure my dogs miss her already.
I had the pleasure of experiencing a truly magical trip in Bowen, thanks to Yvonne. Her warmth and generosity made the stay exceptional. Yvonne not only provided a delightful tour of the town but also allowed us to use her car throughout our visit. The added touch of organizing airport pickup and drop-off showcased her thoughtful hospitality. Pepper was such a delight to look after, and made our dog-friendly beach outings so enjoyable. I will be forever grateful being able to stay in such a beautiful home in a beautiful gem of a town! Thanks again Yvonne!
We housesat for Denise and cared for her adorable female Labradoodle, Bear, for three months this past autumn and winter, and very much enjoyed our time throughout. Denise’s well-equipped, modern house is clean, tidy and well-organised, and Denise had carefully prepared everything for our arrival. She was also prompt, and always helpful, in all her communications both leading up to and throughout our stay. Bear is such a good dog. We loved living with her, taking her for walks, etc. She’s good both on and off the lead, and absolutely loves to go for good, long ball-throwing sessions in various nearby local grassy areas, and especially out in the large fields by the river. She likes to carry her ball with her everywhere she goes. It was, of course, hard to leave Bear at the end of our stay as we’d all become close friends during our three months together. Denise’s house is an easy, pleasant walk from the town centre of Darlington, a likewise well-equipped town with a quite vibrant centre, various nearby grocery stores, shopping centres, etc. We enjoyed figuring out various ways to walk into town and back home, and getting to know the nearby neighbourhoods, etc. In short, if you have an opportunity to care for Bear and Denise’s lovely home, we’d highly recommend your doing so. We’d likewise love to return should the opportunity arise.
Bella and I had a great stay with Scully in Alamo. He is an energetic, well-behaved pup and great company. He enjoys his walk along the Iron Horse trail just down the road as well as cuddling at home. We only had him for a short time, but Bella fell in love with him. Jonathan is generous and easy-going and welcomed us into his amazing home. Everything is modern, neat, and organized. Very comfortable to live in and relax away from civilization. We would gladly come back and sit again if we are in the area.
I had an amazing experience house-siting for Emily, she went above and beyond to make me comfortable. She's responsive, reliable, and delightful. Her cats Cookie & Coffee are the sweetest. They made my stay even better than I could imagine. Having pet sat in New York numerous times, this was one of my favorite sit!
Where do I begin! This sit was truly a life changing experience. After driving all the way from UK, we arrived in the tiny island of Ikaria. Our arrival coincided with appalling weather, and despite their compact house, Wendy immediately offered us accommodation to get out of the rain. We fell in love with Spencer the dog, and the cats mostly tolerated us, but more importantly, we made friends for life, both in our hosts, Steve and Wendy, and also their 96 year old neighbour! Their return was delayed and we agreed to stay on and then, drama! Just before they returned to the island, I broke my ankle and was unable to travel for at least 2 weeks! Their hospitality during this stressful time was incredible, and we can never thank these wonderful people enough. We would not hesitate to return if the opportunity to sit presented itself.
We spent 4 very pleasant days in Sydney with Champ, who was a lovely dog! He is very affectionate and obedient, and despite his initial wariness, he quickly warmed up to us. We enjoyed some delightful walks in the nearby park. Jon's house is comfortable, close to public transport, and within walking distance of the Sydney city centre, which was very convenient. I highly recommend it!
