Great greenlake location. You can walk to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. Off street parking. Comfortable apartment with lots of light. Piper is a sweet girl who loves to snuggle under blankets with or without you. She's a little hesitant to go for a walk but can go for hours once encouraged. We were taking care about lovely Bealy in Lynne's beautiful home for two weeks and we had unforgettable time. Lynne is wonderful person, very generous, kind and easy to communicate with. Her home is gorgeous and in very nice aerie. We enjoyed spending time with dear Bailey, beautiful cat who knows how to let you know what he needs. We already miss him. Whole experience was so awesome that we would be happy to go back again. Definitely we recommend it gladly.
Jo and Jack were extremely welcoming, they have a lovely house, with a very comfortable bed! Callie was a dream to look after, no trouble at all, we enjoyed our walks along the canal which runs behind the house so no need to go out in the car if you don’t want to. But plenty of fantastic walking to be had just a short car ride away.
We had the privilege of being the first house sitters Kate and her lovely family have used, however you wouldn’t have known this as Kate thought of everything, communicated brilliantly and showed us such kindness that we were overwhelmed. This is altogether a lovely family and sitting for them was a truly excellent experience. The house is super comfortable with air-conditioning and large sliding glass doors in the upstairs living area which open onto the balcony overlooking the pool and garden providing many comfortable spots to relax with a book.There are two bus routes into the city both about 5 minutes from the house which we found very helpful and excellent walking tracks around Mt Cootha within easy walking distance. Daisy the dog and Maggie the cat are delightful, fuss free and friendly. Daisy enjoyed her walks and socializing at the dog park nearby. When we were there the weather was getting hot and after ten minutes of chasing every dog she could see was ready to go home and sleep for the rest of the day!In the last five years we have had the pleasure of completing over eighty sits and can confidently say that anyone fortunate enough to sit for Kate and family will have a thoroughly enjoyable experience and Daisy and Maggie will be really pleased to meet you. Our time at Bardon was an absolute joy and we would sit for them again in a heartbeat should the opportunity arise.
Very, very lovely people. Stuart picked us up (and back) from the busstation and showed us around before they left for their holiday. We were very enthusiastic to have sit for the cats Tom and Felix. Felix comes for a cuddle every now and than and likes to sleep a lot. Tom is lively and has a very mixed, but lovely and fun, character. He is also naughty every now and than and LOVE to sleep with you in the bedroom. House is very comfortable and clean. BONUS: they let us use their car which made it possible to drive in the very beautiful mountain area. Stunning views! Thank you very much again for having us. Highly recommended for a sit. One of my absolute favourite sits, Hannah is so incredibly kind, warm & helpful and Arthur was an absolute gem. The apartment is in a super nice area too so it was overall an amazing sit.
