JOHN AND INEZ
Edie and Bella are delightful dogs and very easy to care for. We enjoyed spending time in their neat and tidy home and beautiful patio garden. The property is well situated near a recreation reserve which we enjoyed exploring. They are close to ameneties in Drysdale and Clifton Springs and a short drive or bus ride to fantastic tourist spots on the Bellarine Peninsula.Inez and John were very generous and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and relaxed for the whole stay and would highly recommend house and pet sitting for them.

We spent almost a month with Pepper at her lovely Freeland home. She is a sweet and elegant little cat, that loves her daily outdoor adventures. She likes to lay in the sun and watch the world go by. Alternately, she may be feeling playful and pounce from the plants in the garden. Morning and evenings are her cuddly times and she'll come sit and watch tv with you. She is a super sweet girl and we just loved her.

Patti and Mike were awesome. We met them the day before their trip and got a complete rundown of the home and yard then. Patti's binder of information is an absolute dream!!! I wish I could post a picture of this. There are tabs for everything (Pepper, electronics, emergency contacts, suggestions of things in the area etc.) and everything is just perfectly described. There is even a section with photos of the emergency generator. I am admittedly an information nerd, so this made my heart sing. Patti and Mike were reachable via text and phone during their trip, but they also had a few local contacts that we could have reached out to.

The house itself is gorgeous. You have a beautiful view of the harbor from the backyard. We had deer and a racoon come by, and saw eagles fly over. The location is quiet. The neighbors are very nice. The town of Freeland is small but has everything you could need. There is a busy farmer's market on Saturdays a few miles down the road. The Meerkirk Gardens just a bit north of there had a stunning floral display in May. I'm so glad we got to experience this beautiful island and hang out with Pepper this summer.

This sit is Pawesome!

Linda and Michele are so very hospitable and, at our request, housed us the night before they left . They fed us an amazing breakfast and left us tons of snacks and food.

The guest room bed and pillows were so comfortable. We could have slept in all day, but Ty and his excited little restless wiggles helped us up in the morning. He has boundless energy. He will play ball in the backyard for hours. He does these superman style leaps over the pond. Then, he will sunbathe and nap a little then snuggle right up next to you making sure you know you are loved.

Tiva misses her hoomans, but Ty keeps her mind and body busy. She loves her morning cuddles. Its entertaining to watch Ty and Tiva with their wrestling matches which never go too far. Tiva is one smart cookie and often out maneuvers Ty to win. She gets tuckered out and has a long nap after.

Ty likes to hang in the backyard, and I dont blame him one bit! It is peaceful. Relax on the outdoor couch in the shade under the gazebo with a ceiling fan keeping you cool. Watch the coy peek out from time to time from the deep end of the pond. Look for the bluebirds to gather their mealworms and fly to the birdhouse to feed the little ones.

Not that you would want to leave this sanctuary, but the bay is only a short walk. Beach chairs and gear are in the garage and the water is warm enough to get in, even in June.

A state park with walking and biking trail runs right through their neighborhood and takes you out to just about the Virginia Beach boardwalk.

Between the owners, the sweet pups, the beautiful and comfortable home, serene backyard, amazing location and welcoming hospitality, this sit is perfection! Dont miss out.

Melissa
I had such a great time caring for Molly! She is truly one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met! Melissa was very easy and a joy to communicate with and her condo is so beautiful and bright. It was a short walk to a lovely park with lots of walking trails right along the harbor and everything I needed during my stay was close and very accessible. I highly recommend caring for Molly if you have the opportunity!

Holly
My goodness what a wonderful stay!
Such a fantastic apartment with everything you need (wifi super fast 🙌), but my equal favourite parts were meeting Holly and Matt, and spending time with Mr Cuddles, Kei.

I loved walking Kei, and there are plenty of walks around the complex, especially along the canal where there is the added bonus of iguanas and birds to watch.

Kei is very well behaved, loves a snuggle and is very easy to look after. A bit of play time, a walk, a feed, and he is happy for hours.

Holly and Matt have become life long friends, the nicest people, so welcoming and made me feel part of the family.

Highly recommend, a wonderful experience.
