Julia and her cat Pip are both delightful. Julia is well organized and communicated perfectly, plus she left some homemade cookies for me as well as some staples in the fridge. The apartment is perfectly located, and Pip...well, Pip is a REALLY special little girl. Great personality, calm and sweet, very affectionate. One of the best cats ever. Highly recommended place if you’re going to DC.
Kristen and Dan’s home and animals’ are magical. The setting is so peaceful and their home is so inviting and pleasant to be in. Kristen and I spoke before and during the sit; she gave me detailed and thorough directions for all the animals through videos, her welcome guide and printed and posted in the house. I had fantastic support and correspondence from her before and during my sit. And the cats are amazing !! Mr. Chase lets you pet and brush him as if he were a big silly dog, and Callie is a sweetheart. They are very chill and easy to care for. Spending time with the ducks was awesome as well. Being familiar with what ducks need certainly helped me, but if I hadn’t been familiar with duck care prior to this sit, I think Kristen’s instructions would have gotten me through with ease. I’m quite grateful to have stayed in their home and spent time in this blissful place. Thank you!
Oh my lawd! Housesitting for Paul and Stacy was a dream! Wriggly is the bestest doggo ever who slept with me every night and didn’t make a peep, we became best buds very quickly. The cats were super independent but loved to come for cuddles in the evening and the chickens did their thing leaving great eggs for my breakfast every day! The house itself is insane! Think Sabrina the teenage witch meets Charmed. The energy here was spectacular I could have stayed for months not just a week! Paul and Stacy were so lovely too, they had me a day before to show me the ropes and cooked me a great meal, kept their home completely open to me and kept in great contact whilst they were away. The town is so small it was a wonder, you might pass this post by as it’s not near any major ‘tourist’ places but the local areas within 30 miles were fun to explore. This place is great for some RnR trust me!
We had the best time in Blackduck pet sitting for Sandy & Richard! They were very welcoming and thoroughly explained our responsibilities. Bear and Barkley were so much fun. We went for long walks everyday through the woods. If you are looking for a very peaceful place to visit, this is it. Oh, we also were able to get out on the lake and do a little fishing and just enjoyed the water. All 3 cats have different personalities, but they were also fairly easy to care for. I would highly recommend pet sitting for them.
My boyfriend and I had the most amazing week pet-sitting for Mirco and Kimia's adorable cat, Puppy. From the moment we arrived at their beautiful home, we were welcomed with open arms. It's truly heartwarming that they trusted us to take care of their beloved Pup and their lovely home. Puppy was an absolute delight. He adapted to our presence remarkably quickly, making us feel right at home. His playful and sweet nature made our time with him incredibly enjoyable. We shared many memorable moments together! :) During this week, we had the unique opportunity to work from home, and we couldn't have asked for a better setup. Mirco and Kimia provided us with everything we needed, including high-speed internet and an additional monitor, which made our remote work seamless and efficient. Regarding the location of the apartment, it couldn't have been better. For travelers from afar, this is a prime spot. Copenhagen's excellent public transport system and bike-friendly environment make exploring the city a breeze. We found ourselves biking everywhere, and it was a mere 15-minute ride to the charming old town, depending on your cycling skills, of course! Not only was the location convenient, but it was also surrounded by amenities. There are numerous supermarkets, small restaurants, and bakeries in the neighborhood. However, what we appreciated most were the beautiful canals and the wooden walking range around the sea. Even in late September, we witnessed locals taking a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. In summary, our experience pet-sitting for Mirco and Kimia was nothing short of wonderful. Their trust, the delightful company of Puppy, the fantastic location, and the great work-from-home setup made it a week we'll cherish forever. We're immensely grateful for this opportunity, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of Copenhagen. Thank you, Mirco, Kimia, and Pup for an unforgettable week! <3
Quelle expérience inoubliable dans cette très belle maison, où le talent de Danielle pour la décoration , le sens artistique et le comfort nous ont permis de passer un excellent séjour dans cette région unique du sud ouest. Boulette est un chat qui se suffit à lui-même , aime aller et venir, et nous avons eu la chance de le voir plusieurs fois dans la cuisine quand il venait dîner , ou quand il se promenait dans le beau jardin qui entoure la maison. Lui donner des câlins pendant qu’il ronronne est vraiment un moment unique. Cournonsec est en plus un endroit privilégié , d’où l’on peut visiter toute une variété de sites, du balnéaire à l’historique. Avoir une voiture facilite le déplacement, mais les ballades à pied ou en vélo dans le voisinage sont aussi très satisfaisantes . Danielle est une hôtesse charmante qui nous a accueillis à bras ouvert avec un dîner délicieux et nous sommes restés en contact durant tout le séjour.
