We had a lovely stay, and the pets are adorable. Grace and Richard are a lovely couple and Richard makes a great loaf of bread which we really enjoyed. All the animals are lovely but Buddy really melted my heart and would love to have taken him home. We can recommend this sit and would return.
I had a lovely time at Lynne's cottage in Melton Constable. Snatchy, Lula and Tofu were all great little companions for the month long sit! Lynne spent a couple of hours to make sure I was comfortable with everything in the house and made me feel very welcome. Lynne's daughter was just down the road and was available for anything that came up. Snatchy is a mellow little man who likes to sit right next to you on the sofa but if you get up he will most definitely take you spot :) He is easy going and happy to take his walks when you're ready. He was a bit of an early riser a few days no matter how late we went to bed but he was happy to go outside quickly and then come back to bed! He likes to curl up at the foot of the bed. Lula is a very vocal lady trying to convince you that you have forgotten to feed her but she is happy with a brush and a few bits of food put in the bowl. Tofu won the prize for most cuddliest and kept me warm as a lap-cat. Melton Constable is a quiet little area with the shop about 1 mile away but some nice areas to visit nearby by car. Plenty of walks and I advise to pack wellies or walking boots. As I am from Florida, I felt the cold a bit and the weather was temperamental but Lynne had showed me how to use the wood burner stove/fireplace so I kept that going each evening! It was definitely a nice break in rural England!

My wife (Julia) and I (Craig) really enjoyed our time at Mylene's house with her two dogs, Maya and Charlie. Mylene was fun to talk to, made coordination simple, and has an easy going personality. Maya and Charlie are very cute and lovely, easy to care for, and really enjoy snuggling. The house is modern and clean, located outside Quebec City, but convenient to reach by car. The little cluster of townhouses surrounding Mylene's home have friendly neighbors, which isn't surprising at all, since everyone we met around Quebec have been extremely kind and patient. Its also very bicycle friendly (tons of bike paths) and very close to Montmorency Falls.
We loved taking care of Luna for Shelby and Robb! Shelby was great in showing us around and introducing us to Luna, who was very well-behaved and friendly. Despite her age, Luna loved going for long walks and even playing fetch. The location of the home quickly made Lafayette park my favorite spot in the city. We already miss Luna and can't wait to come back!
