Ed and the kind staffers at the Dog House Route 8 five star experience even more stars if possible! My 105 pound long haired white dog chased a skunk and got sprayed very close up on the neck ruff area. Both the skunk and our dog are fine. Thanks to Ed and his staff zero skunk scent left. They even boarded our dog for 2 days while we deskunked the house. We appreciate a fresh start! Highly recommend very prompt and professional. Fair prices and solid products that work and did not cause any skin problems. True gems. Our dog came out wearing a beautiful neck bandanna smelling great.
Super clean and super friendly. It feels good leaving my dogs with someone who vibes well with dogs. That's why I use The Dog House for my dogs grooming needs.
Great boarding facility! we all take our dogs there and have never had a bad experience! the dogs love it! Very affordable and a great staff!
I've been taking my dog here for a few years now since having bad experiences with other boarding facilities. My dog, Loki, absolutely loves this place. She is always happy when we drop her off here and the staff takes excellent care of her. She doesn't require a lot of grooming, but I have had them do baths/nail trims before and have been pleased with the results. Definitely recommend this place for boarding!
I love this place so much! I’ve never had any issues there and my dog is absolutely needy and spoiled. Ed is absolutely wonderful and so are the other ladies that I’ve spoken to when boarding. The process goes very quickly over the phone so that it doesn’t take a lot of time out of your day when you’re trying to drop off or pick up. That’s always a plus. They always take care of my dog while we are away. I will always recommend the doghouse to my friends and family.
We take our two dogs here all the time for their nail trims and we couldn't be happier! My one dog injured her paw and broke two nails in our yard as a puppy. The two nails had to be removed by the vet so that they would grow back correctly. Needless to say, my dog doesn't like vets, groomers, or even me handling her paws. The groomer here is amazing with her! We wouldn't go anywhere else! The price is incredibly reasonable. The entire staff is friendly and the place is clean. We're very happy bringing our dogs in every month.
Have been boarding my dogs and having them groomed by Ed for years. My fur babies are always eager to go there. It is clean, safe and they are really good with my dogs. I don't have to worry when I leave them there. Highly recommended.
I liked the location, they seemed nice enough and got us in at the last minute. (Our groomer canceled because of back problems). Most important it was my first time bringing my two dogs there and to my surprise NO ONE asked for my dogs proof of valid and updated rabies shots. When I picked them up You could see the marks from the razor they used on my dogs (and could still see them a week later) which was way too short for both. Not sure what they used on both dogs but their skin was and is so dry. They are biting not at their dry spots and making it worse. I can't wait to get my dogs back to their regular groomer.
Love the Dog House have been going there for around 7 years. You might know the have a kennel there too. Guy we ho runs the place is great My dog hates water but is happy when he comes out all clean and nails clipped.
Always do a fabulous job grooming our dogs. Great place to board animals too.
I highly recommend Sandy Hills Kennel!! My dogs always have a great time and come back happy and healthy! I love my evening report cards on how the dogs are doing.. always makes me feel like they are well cared for. And Jessica did a great job grooming my doodle!!
My pup was well taken care of during his stay at Sandy Hill kennel. He was returned to me clean, happy. Why do they charge just to be playful with the pups? They charge to pet them, cuddle them, show them attention during the stay. I find it hard to understand that!
First grooming visit and we’re highly impressed! We got the Spaw day package which included nail grinding, tooth brushing, and a “blueberry facial”, on top of a bath that left them smelling like oatmeal cookies 😍 Two happy dogs! …
