Katie was awesome! She shared photos regularly, and took great care of the home. Would be happy to have her care for Higgs again!
Craig and Annie have a beautiful, clean home in Cromwell and left clear instructions on how to care for their animals. Noodle is an absolute sweetheart! She was a little shy at first, but warmed up within a few hours and was a joy to hang out with! The animal routine is very low maintenance. It’s fun hanging with the sheep, giving them pets and hand feeding them in the afternoon. The chickens enjoy the afternoon snack and it was lovely making fresh eggs every morning. I would highly recommend this sit to anyone interested! I look forward to coming back in a few weeks for another sit.
What can I say! Fantastic sit with Poppy & Vosper, they were a dream to look after, Poppy took me on various walks around the area, she was hysterical and literally decided on which walk she wanted to go on each day. She is just so lovely to hang out with! The location was wonderful lots of friendly dogs and dog walkers around who made me feel very welcome. I honestly think Poppy is known by everyone in the village! Vosper is low key and low maintenance, he is a precious boy and would pop in most evenings to watch TV with Poppy and I. Pippa and Mark were the best pet parents, great communication, wonderful hand overs, lots of local knowledge, very comfortable home, this sit is hard to beat! Thank you – I hope I’ll get to return to Bampton for another sit in the future.
The whole crew of animals at Ker Hervé is wonderful. Especially Harry the dog, and even Stink the cat had her charms (just keep her outside!). Owners Lizzie and Carrot were great about communicating their needs thoroughly and regularly. The space is very comfortable and stylish. We appreciated the fresh air and quiet in this beautiful corner of Brittany. Quite a special place.
Aaron's place was clean and comfortable for me and my daughter to stay in. We looked after his two cats Misha and Eric who were very easy to care for. Aaron was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house is located in a lovely suburb on a quiet street. We enjoyed our stay and would housesit for Aaron again!
We absolutely loved our stay! Ellie had prepared a folder with all the information we needed, and made sure we felt at home before leaving. Mikey was shy at first, but was soon running round the garden with us and took US on a walk round the village! Sylvester was often out, but very cuddly when he came back. If you stay here, we recommend exploring the village, as we loved the nearby farm shop and even got some fresh milk from a local farm! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Ellie!!
Harley, Casper and Bailey are all the sweetest, most loving souls. They are all quite independent and have their routine ~ but also very affectionate and quick to bond. Casper loves attention (so please do love cats!) Bailey loves to be brushed. And Harley is over the moon for every walk ~ especially if it’s trails. Lynne is a gracious host and very thorough with instructions regarding each pet as well as the house. Her home is walking distance to Main Street, trails and Lake Dillon. This is a great sit for anyone who enjoys mountain life and the outdoors and having a four legged companion to show you around.
