They left the house in as good or better shake as it was found, laundering and folding linens and tidying up so well we could hardly tell they stayed here! Our stay in Baltimore was fantastic! It’s been our favorite sit so far, thanks to the delightful dogs Birdie, Sophie, and Zucchini. These obedient and sweet pups made our time most special—they’re such good pups! The provided car gave us easy access to the the city and its beautiful surroundings. Walking the dogs in the neighborhood was a pleasure, with scenic paths and trails shaded by trees and adorned with flowers, surrounded by charming houses. The house was perfect, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including bi-weekly cleaning service. The kind hosts were always available if needed, ensuring our experience was smooth throughout. We highly recommend this pet-sitting opportunity for anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful neighborhood and wonderful company. We would love to sit here again.
Ruth and Julian were generous and considerate hosts, who made us feel instantly at ease within their home. We feel very fortunate that they trusted Hugo and I as their first “Trusted House Sitters” to take care of Albert and the beautiful shy Milo. On arrival we could not have felt more welcomed and appreciated, with a lovely welcome basket of goodies. Our bedrooms were delightful, and to stay in such a beautiful, well organised, eco home was a great experience to enjoy the summer in, with the amazing courtyard to spend our summer afternoons in. The house is perfectly situated in a quiet location, with the harbour and beaches easily accessible if you wish for some beach time. Thank you so much for choosing Hugo and I as we had glorious time! Any future house sitters are in for a great stay and will meet a thoughtful caring family!
Ducky is a real sweetie! He loves company and his walks and was a great cuddle companion during my stay. Justine was so friendly and helpful for the sit. She made me feel very welcome and made sure I had what I needed for the stay. I appreciated her letting me know that she just moved in a few weeks ago so didn’t have a full set up, but I was comfortable non the less. The neighborhood is in a great park of NYC. The UES has allot of bars and cafés, not to mention Central Park around 10-15 min walk. Trains also very close by. Dare I say an ice-cream shop downstairs…?!! I was working at the apartment and had no issues with internet. Justine was so helpful in making sure I had access to the wifi password. She was also very responsive for all messages I sent. Thank you so much for having me stay!
We were so lucky to be chosen by Roma and John to be guardians for Evie and her beautiful home. In fact we were all agreed that the place couldn't have been more perfect for our family to spend a month surrounded by nature and watching the autumn unfold. The town of Penicuik is perfectly placed for those who enjoy the outdoors yet still like to have the amenities that the charming town provides, alongside that it's also so near to Edinburgh that you can fill your need for a city if required. Evie is truly an independent soul who occasionally craves a little head rub or a face to face encounter (which if you are brave enough to is a wonderful encounter!), she totally stole my heart albeit on her terms! Roma and John's home is just beautiful, welcoming and warm and quiet due to it's perfect location in reach of Penicuik Estate where you can find numerous walking trails as we did daily. Our strong connection to the area leaves us refreshed and hopeful to one day return.
This was a fabulous housesit. From the outset Christina was great to communicate with, so easy going and relaxed. The house itself is very clean and comfortable with the best games cupboard ever! And sweet Milly and Poppy are simply adorable, both with such cute personalities and the softest fur for lots of strokes and cuddles.
My husband, Tim, and I recently cared for Lisa’s lovely home and wonderful doggies, Henry and Lulu. Lisa is a truly kind and thoughtful person and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and prepared to take care of things while she was away. Prior to our arrival, she provided plenty of detailed information about the house/dogs, which really got our sit off to a great start. She also provided suggestions for restaurants, walks, etc., which helped us experience the area as if we were locals, which was fun and very much appreciated. Her endearing furry friends, Lulu and Henry, are just the sweetest pups and really stole our hearts. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was on walks near the house or on trails just beyond the outskirts of town. They were playful around other dogs and friendly towards all the humans that we encountered. We cannot say enough good things about Henry and Lulu, and we missed them dearly as soon as we left...and still do! They certainly put a smile on our faces from the moment we arrived, until the day we departed. Tim and I have very fond memories of our time spent in Park City, and highly recommend house/dog sitting for Lisa, Henry, and Lulu. Thanks for everything!
