What an amazing home! About 20 minutes away from main Santa Fe, 10-15 minutes away from old mining towns Madrid and Cerrillos. Great location if you're looking for a quiet retreat that is still near the main city. I had so much fun with their dogs, cat, and horses. Each animal had their own personality. The dogs were sweet, energetic, and affectionate. The cat loves sitting on your lap and in front of the TV. Coulter (the black horse) will let you pet him, while Mina keeps her distance. The horses are so fun to feed carrots and apples to. House comes with a casita (guest house), when I stayed. I would absolutely do it again in a heartbeat!
Julie and Bob were so nice and fun. I really enjoyed meeting them. Squeegee is the cutest cat ever! So social and friendly. Very nice condo in a beautiful neighborhood. Lots of nice walking trails. Would definitely recommend staying here. Close to beach and lots of fun restaurants.
Our stay at Christy's apartment was excellent! She was always very warm, communication was easy, they were very flexible with coordinating our arrival and departure, and we felt very welcomed in their home from the start. The apartment is bright and comfortable, located in a nice neighborhood, very accessible for getting around, and well-equipped. Even her books are amazing! Harry and Gino are two adorable kittens that are very easy to take care of. They are quite independent and well-behaved. They will show you themselves when they want affection and attention to play. In summary, a highly recommended place to spend a few days in Chicago accompanied by beautiful kittens!
I had a lovely time sitting for Bailey and Shadow. Their silly dog antics always kept me entertained. They were super friendly and I always felt wanted and appreciate whenever I left the room and came back. Even if just for a few minutes. The home was adorable and comfortable. It's in a nice location that's quiet and not far from the center. There are bus stops very close. It was very easy to travel around norwhich to get groceries and other necessities. Heather and her family are so nice, I had the opportunity to get to know them on the last day and it was a lot of fun talking and sharing stories. The only thing that really came as a surprise for me that I think should be mentioned is the dogs don't notice cars. They can easily just step off the curb in front of a car. It's an easy fix! I just kept them with the leash shorter while walking by roads and long in the parks. I'd definitely sit for them again if I was in Norwhich if the need arises.
