I had a lovely time looking after Lucky and Giorgio for James and John. The dogs are incredibly sweet and loved being around me, playing, and receiving plenty of cuddles. Giorgio was practically my little shadow for the week that I cared for them. The dogs are easy to care for as they have access to a large garden for the majority of the day and they also enjoy their walks. James and John were very welcoming allowing me to come the night before the sit since they were leaving early in the morning. They made me dinner upon my arrival and also walked through the dogs care whilst they would be gone. The home is lovely, spacious, and well located making it easy to work from home whilst also popping into the main part of the town during lunch breaks. The communication before, during, and after the sit was also great. I would recommend this sit to others and would definitely care for Lucky and Giorgio again!
We had a lovely stay at Coldstream and enjoyed our time with the two little dogs. The location for walking was stunning and Frank and Widget enjoyed their walks with us.
I spent 2 amazing weeks with Carter at Clementine's house. Carter is an amazing and a very understanding cat! It was very easy for me to establish warm, friendly relations with him. On the one hand, he spent almost all the time outside the house, but on the other hand, he was always there - he met me at the backyard door when I returned from the sea or from the store, he went with me to water the garden or hang wet clothes to dry, we "protected" our garden from the encroachment of neighboring cats, who tried to establish their power on the terrace of our house ;) In general, I can say that Carter is a real, loyal friend and sometimes I even thought that he could read my thoughts! ;) The house is very conveniently located, everything corresponds to the Clementine's description - it takes about 8 minutes drive to the sea, where there are many restaurants and a big supermarket. There is also a mini market within a 2 minute drive. The house itself is clean, bright and spacious, equipped with everything you need (including air conditioners and ceiling fans) and not loaded with unnecessary things, which creates a very comfortable stay. Communication with Clementine and her husband was very pleasant. Clementine was always in touch, answered quickly and clearly to all questions (although, in fact, no questions even arose since Clementine left very detailed and clear instructions). It was one of my best experiences as a sitter and I would love to go back there again one day! Thank you Clementine! <3
Grizzy was a beautiful kitty to sit. Although a little shy, warmed up quickly and loved having his brushes and loving chin rubs on his comfy window perch. Kari and Bobs place was clean and organized and the house guide was very helpful for providing Grizz with his personal care preferences. Loved the delicious goodies left on the counter, and the fully stocked spice cabinet!! Great location, close to good restaurants, parks and amenities. I loved to sit with Mr Tibbs! He is such an amazing cat! He is lovely, very sweet, has great personality. Mr Tibbs was the best cat I have ever met, such a good character! Even if I have had cats myself the whole life. Mr Tibbs made my holiday season ! Angela is a very gentle and nice person, she was immediately very friendly and her appartement is very elegant and comfortable. Also the apartment is inside the complex which has a good supermarket downstairs, it is located only 7 minutes walking from the metro station, which is useful if you don’t use the car. I would love to come back and sit with Mr Tibbs again and obviously highly recommend this sit!
We had a great time with Bubbles and Meushi! They both have such different personalities, giving you everything you could want in a dog. Stephanie was easy to communicate with and her place backs up to a little belt walking trail that makes it a breeze to get our walks in. There might not be anything cuter than watching mei mei run down the stairs. We can easily recommend this sit.
