Milly was very helpful taking care of our two dogs and our leopard gecko. She is easy-going and upbeat, and left our house tidy. She sent us plenty of pictures of our dogs while we were away, and was easy to communicate with whenever we need to get in touch.
I had a wonderful weekend with Ragnar and Cato. They are both super sweet and well-behaved. Cato is more vocal but mainly when he wants attention. He loves playing fetch and tuggy. Ragnar is just a lovebug. Both pups were great around my kids. The house is perfect and the pool was cool on these hot summer days. I would gladly spend time with these two furbabies again!
Bear is an absolute cutie patootie. Such a loyal and obedient bestie for the few weeks I’ve had her. And Darrin’s place is lovely in the hills. I had a lovely time walking to the local park, and sitting with the trees outside the lounge room. Bonogin is beautiful.
Every now and then, I come across postings that have the hallmarks of a great sit. Katerina’s sit was one of those rare gems sitters look out for but rarely come across. I was lucky and fortunate to get picked. Katerina is a fabulous and exceptional host, very welcoming, kind, generous, thoughtful and extremely organised. It made a world of difference to have access to all the information related to the house, immediate neighbourhood and nearby cities, downtown Zurich, places to visit and of course all things related to the fur babies.. This is over and above the comprehensive detailed Welcome Guide she has with maps and links. As a sitter, I was able to settle in immediately saving invaluable time and effort second guessing my way around. The personal orientation, trip to the supermarket, bus and tram stop locations, bin drop, eateries were all extremely useful making the sit seamless from start to finish. I was blown away by the methodical approach and wish TH would adopt her template. As if it isn’t enough, Katerina personally picked me up from the airport despite me missing my earlier flight and hosted dinner where we got to know each other better and I hope cemented a lifelong friendship beyond the formalities of the sit. I had a similar experience only one other time – I REALLY wish TH would adopt their templates. Katerina has a wonderful sense of humour, a genuine love of nature and animals and compassion for the underdog…. She’s hilarious when she makes fun of her fur babies. Speaking of which, like mother like fur babies. I swear it’s as if they both have Katerina’s DNA – impeccable manners and well behaved. Peanut is like a human child with fur. His expressions are just priceless because it’s so human. He’s an absolute cuddly joy to care for and made me peal in endless laughter throughout the sit with his antics. Raya looks every bit the diva albeit a shy one. But once she warms up, she’s just as affectionate and just as funny to play with. I couldn’t ask for better company – both were there to comfort me on a few tearful episodes…. the best therapy ever. The apartment is gorgeous and in a great location, a couple of minutes’ walk to just about everything….the Metro and bus stops where you can take a short ride to the nearby town center ….even to the airport. The supermarkets are literally across and around the corner and easy walking distance. It’s self sufficient in so many respects. An absolute dream for sitters. You will have everything you could possibly want – even an Alexa that talks back!! I thoroughly enjoyed this sit and highly recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Katerina,Peanut & Raya for inviting me to look after you and your home. It was an honour I thoroughly enjoyed and cherish and I would do again and again in a heart beat.
Jeff & I had a great time with Lucy. She is the sweetest, low maintenance pup who loves to snuggle, play & is quite photogenic! We enjoyed playing with her at Carole and Lonnie's beautiful townhouse and took her on several local adventures. Their community is great, has a nice pool that we used daily and we met the sweetest neighbors who included us in their Mothers Day Pool Party! Everything is easy to get to by car - parks, great restaurants, grocery stores and we even went to Disney Springs twice. Carole & Lonnie were the sweetest, leaving us a bottle of wine and other beverages. They were so easy to communicate with before, during & after the sit. They were very responsive to any question we had, and were always appreciative of the photos we sent them of their sweet girl. We hope to return someday soon! We would definitely recommend this sit!
