Communication with Vicky prior to and throughout the sit was perfect. I was given a warm welcome on arrival and the house was really well equipped, very clean and tidy and in a wonderful rural location but close enough to Salisbury. Barnaby is a delight to look after, he’s very accommodating, has a gentle nature and took me on some lovely local walks. I would welcome the chance to sit here again and can thoroughly recommend it to others onTHS.
We throughly enjoyed every minute of this sit! The property is beautiful and the surrounding area has excellent local shops, cafe’s and takeaways within a few minutes walking distance. The dog park is around 1.5km with great views of Perth City, Billy loved his daily walks and was a wonderful friendly and easy going dog! We will miss him. Vicki & Brad made us feel at ease & relaxed in their fabulous home, what more can we say! We would not hesitate to return & recommend this sit, it was a pleasure. We had a great time in Sarah's comfy house. The pets were top stars too: Archie is quite a strong character, likes his cuddles and will let you know when he wants what. Little Lola is very entertaining, skipping around in the garden, chasing after flies or her laserbeam toy. She will stare you out to play with her! Sarah was very easy to communicate with and well organised. The location is excellent: on the edge of the beautiful new forest with it's wild roaming ponies and also near the coast - great beaches! There's 2 good pubs within stumbling distance, also a co-op and other shops. Altogether lovely sit, recommend and would happily come again.
Jeremy is a very organized Owner, with detailed notes on Ollie's particulars and the house. Ollie is super low maintenance, being an outdoor cat. However, very loving and I even got some snuggles in. The location of the home is perfectly situated, walking distance to any service or store you need, along major bus lines, with free street parking outside. Definitely would love to sit here again!
Taking care of Bella was such a treat. She is a spunky, silly, and expressive little girl. She was a joy to walk, play with and so well adjusted. Zhara was so helpful in explaining Bela's need, likes and habits, thus making our time together even easier. She was a hoot to watch playing with a basketball that was as big as her. Zhara's home was beautiful and tranquil. It not only had every possible amenity but was comfortable and cozy. Zhara was easy to communicate with, responsive to questions and a pleasure to work with.

Jan is amazing. I travel from South Devon to leave my dogs with Jan she is so good. I have known her almost 20 years and she has looked after all the dogs I have had in that time - including elderly rescues. I wouldn't go any where else- she is amazing with all dogs and trustworthy - so worth the extra drive to know I will collect a happy, well cared for dog who loves it so much there they don't always want to come home.
We have used Jan at Langport for more than 10 years as we hated putting our Basset Hounds in kennels. She has a several acre field right next to the house where they are exercised frequently. In addition she takes them out for a proper walk each day.All the dogs of every breed sleep in her house and they all seem to love it. She is also very knowledgeable about dogs, horses and other pets. I think she has also just been awarded 5 stars by Defra. When one of our Bassets was ill she actually slept downstairs with her: an amazingly dedicated and kind lady.
Jan is excellent with our dogs. They are always happy there and sadly I feel at times they dont want to come home!
My dog goes here and he always comes home tired. And Jan is a nutter, she will walk the dogs come rain or shine

We are very lucky to have Nikki walking our puppy. He is very strong and likes to pull, but Nikki is more than happy to work with the advise of our dog trainer which helps us greatly in our loose-lead training. She is very professional and I would highly recommend!
Nikki has been fantastic. We get lovely photos throughout the day of our puppy, and a message to say how she has been after Nikki has visited. Nikki has been flexible and very efficient in organising sessions for the following week. We are really lucky to have her!

Our little dog has just had a trial stay with Susie at Greenacres. We were quite anxious about leaving her for the first time but she seemed to settle and slept all the way home after enjoying the freedom of Susie’s paddocks.
Thanks Susie, Bonnie seems like she had a great stay and I appreciated the daily video updates. I'm really glad to have her back home again but I think she will miss your fields until her next stay!

I had a mixed experience boarding our 8 month old puppy at Greenacres. We were out of the country and whilst we received daily videos I was contacted after a few days to inform me my dog had jumped up on a table and broken a ‘favourite mug’. I apologised and offered to replace it. I was perplexed when informed it was a mug widely available on Amazon (which I purchased & had sent to Susie the next day). This was unsettling given that I’d been reassured when I booked, that my lively pup could be managed. It was a relief to collect my pup only to receive a disappointingly negative handover from the member of staff. This added to my unease. The dog was defensive and unsettled for 72 hours after returning home. I’ve since found out a couple of acquaintances had similar experiences at Greenacres with their dogs being a nuisance, jumping up and breaking things.
Suzy is great with our dogs...they both had a lovely time there. We were able to go and enjoy our holiday knowing the dogs were well cared for and entertained with their various new dog friends. Thanks Suzy.
My dog stayed here for 3 days. We were on holiday and needed a place for sparky to stay during the day while we visited places,where dogs were not allowed. Our dog is incredibly special to us and we would only let her go to the very best place! She not only spends days here but she also boards here when we are away. She has the most amazing time and is so excited when she realises where she is goung. Whilst she is at Pupz 'n' Pawz we get regular updates and photos showing us how much fun she is having. I have 2 miniature dachshunds, one being quite nervous, who have been attending Pupz 'n' Pawz daycare for just over a year. I feel they get the best care and attention from Sam and Darren, as well as the rest of the staff, and as a result, I have seen them both grow in confidence since attending. They recently had their first overnight boarding stay which I was bit apprehensive about, but there was no need to be as Sam kept me updated and I picked up 2 very happy dogs. I would definitely recommend Pupz 'n' Pawz and I feel very fortunate to have such brilliant services close by. Very big thank you to Sam and Darren!

I emailed them with an enquiry, but no-one emailed me back. *** I have subsequently had a response to my review. It appears they sometimes have issues with emails sent from the website. The advice was "to email them directly or to call". I appreciated the message from Sam. ** Had a lovely chat with Sam today. She was so helpful. I would definitely recommend Pupz "n" Pawz.
I cannot speak too highly of this business. From the first visit of our pet to Pupz n Pawz it was clear that the owners and staff run it in a highly professional and friendly way. It's not only a place that provides care for your pet , more to provide constructive feedback and advice about your pet's behaviour and how you may plan the frequency and structure of future visits and also improve the value of those visits. Thoroughly impressive. More importantly our Bull Terrier loves her visits. Well done Pupz n Pawz.
Bella has been to daycare, boarding and training with Sam and Darren; each experience has been excellent. I've recommended them to friends, with wonderful feedback. They know and love dogs in equal measure and they're good with us owners, too!
There is no better place than this. My dog is very much part of my family, just as it is for every dog owner. So you always want the best for your family. This place is absolutely amazing; it is run by extremely talented and caring people. They give the best care and have the knowledge to back that up with. So if your dog needs the best then this is it. I can't praise this place enough for how they are with my pup.
Brilliant place for anything Doggy related. As first time dog owners we really didn’t know what we were doing but Sam and Darren are so very knowledgeable and friendly we loved taking our puppy to classes there (and he loved it too). Apart from being very welcoming they are extremely patient (with owners and dogs!) Sam and Darren are very understanding of all degrees of experience and we were never made to feel like the rookies we were and our confidence with our puppy and indeed all dogs came on greatly. Cannot recommend this place strongly enough!
Darren helped my family with training for our reactive dog Finn and he was absolutely fantastic! We learnt so much and he was really encouraging and helpful throughout. He showed us behaviours to look out for and what techniques to practice with Finn at home. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help with dog training & obedience!
Wolfie is a Romanian rescue with a very checkered past, who moved in with us during lockdown. She arrived with some challenging behaviour and was not the most gracious of hostesses in her home or anyone else's home she was visiting come to that. She wasn't vicious, just a bit growly and bad mannered. Although she got on well with other dogs in the park, she was reactive on the lead and would respond with a growling snarl to various dogs, like small yappy ones, dogs with audible breathing issues, dogs that looked at her the wrong way. Not polite. She really needed to socialise with lots of different dogs, particularly in enclosed spaces under supervision. I discussed this all with Sam and we decided to take it slow. Sam gradually introduced Wolfie to different dogs in a controlled, supervised environment. Wolfie is a different dog now. She loves all her doggy friends, regardless of their size, snorting and yappyness. This is supported by photos and comments from Sam when she visits. She is so well socialised now. I cannot praise enough, the skills and commitment to delivering a safe, caring service for all the dogs fortunate enough to spent time with this dedicated team. Sam's last comment to me yesterday was '...she had an amazing day and had settled so well. Not a single grumble at over enthusiastic puppies at all and she was very playful herself!' Thank-you Sam and the team at Pupz 'n' Pawz!

Debbie recently looked after our ducks & chickens for 10 days whilst we were abroad. We got daily updates with photos, which really put my mind at ease as I was so worried about leaving them. She was amazing, and she really did look after them for us. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting services.
I highly recommend Pet Sitting Bridgwater. Debbie is the most caring person I have ever met. She took great care of our two cats while we were away, giving them the best care, treats and lots of petting 🥰 I was so impressed by her professionalism and reliabity. She was sending us daily texts about how our furry babies are doing, she even went the extra mile and bought them treats and toys. Special bonus the chocolates waiting for us when we returned home. Debbie is caring, efficient and professional. I have a nervous cat, and was worried about leaving her. I had no need to worry, as 'Moomoo' was very happy with Debbie... and she loved the cat treats! Debbie sent me daily updates and pictures. I will definitely be asking Debbie to look after Moomoo in the future.
We were concerned at first about using a service and a stranger to look after our nervous cat Mia, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. Debbie soon put our fears to bed and we couldn’t have asked for someone better to look after her. It’s a fantastic service and I’m so pleased that I didn’t have to leave Mia in a strange cattery. When we returned from holiday Mia was happy & chilled, all her food bowls were clean and plenty of water in her bowl. We will certainly use Debbie & pet sitting again and can’t recommend this service highly enough.

Found this pets' heaven on route to Wales this summer From the moment i enquired we knew we were in a good place. We took our queens (chickens) were super happy with everything on offer. Nicky loves for animals reflect on everything at Pip's Pods. We came back in September for more boarding. Highly highly recommend

Smudge, our mini Rex rabbit, came home very relaxed after a week being looked after by Nicky and her daughters. He had plenty of outdoor space and his pod was cosy for him. Nicky’s set up is very secure and she was very welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend her.
I couldn’t recommend Nicky at Pip’s Pods highly enough. She was so warm and friendly via email, answering all my questions promptly and thoroughly, and setting a mad guinea pig lady’s mind at ease! She thoroughly spoilt both my boys whilst they were with her, providing the most beautiful indoor and outdoor accommodation as well as a range of herbs and veggies for them to munch on. I was concerned about them in the heat as it was pushing 30 degrees when they stayed with her, but Nicky was so reassuring, messaging me to tell me when she’d checked on the pigs and sending me pictures of them having fun! I don’t know what she did with one of my piggies but she somehow managed to change him from a grumpy guinea to a much more cheerful version when I collected him! I think he needs to stay more often! I thoroughly recommend choosing Pip’s Pods for your small animal care when you go away - it couldn’t have been better.
I was really struggling to find decent boarding for our rabbit Jarrod as most sites were either breeders who happened to have a couple of spare hutches or were boarders advertising spacious accommodation only to find that the boarding was in small hutches staked 4 high in a shed! how lucky we were to find Pips Pods run by Nicky. Nicky has a lovely country home and will only house a few animals at a time (I say animals as she boards more than just rabbits). our Jarrod is a house rabbit but appeared more than happy with his outdoor accommodation and had a large outdoor space to stretch his legs. Nicky is an obvious animal lover as you will see for your self when you visit. Jarrod was treated to fresh greens every day and Nicky even went out of her way to bake him some banana treats. When it came to collection time Jarrod he appeared very happy and relaxed, I'm sure he could talk he would have been asking to stay a little longer!!!. I've never felt comfortable booking a holiday and leaving my pets in somebody else's care, however was so impressed with Pips pods we have already booked Jarrod's boarding for next summer and will have no issues leaving him with Nicky if we ever felt like a weekend away. I cannot rate Pip's Pods highly enough, a great service, great animal care and very under priced for the service provided. I would advise booking pips pods as early as you can as quality boarding is hard to find and is likely to book up fast.
Lovely local place for my 3 hens to board, whilst we took a holiday. Very clean and tidy, hens have plenty of space to roam about and came back looking very healthy. Had the added bonus of Nicky keeping their eggs for us when we came back. Would certainly recommend as a great place to look after your pets whilst you are away.
We were very happy with our experience keeping our 5 hens here whilst our garden was being redone. Email booking was very responsive and the owner was very understanding with our needs as it was unpredictable exactly how long we would need to stay with ongoing garden works being done. Drop offs and pick ups were also very flexible. Very impressed with the space and Nicky was very friendly and knowledgeable with hens, which reassured us that they were staying in the right place. Would definitely recommend.
Nicki has taken care of our rabbits during our holidays as well as us and even better. She considered our bunnies like hers and finally they have spent as good holidays as us. We are very grateful of her work. We are not going to hesitate to let our rabbits again next time to her. Very good service.
Nicky is a thoughtful, caring lady who loves all animals furry, feathered and, I suspect, otherwise! 😃 We boarded our 6 hens and 5 quail at Pip's Pods and just through our first message contact I felt an instant peace of mind. Nicky responds quickly and with understanding, no question too daft! She has spectacular pods in a big lush green acre (correct me if it's bigger?) containing big covered avaries with wonderful Omelet and locally made quality housing, coops, hutches etc, including smaller Omelet homes for the littlies. Absolutely recommend fir tree pets hotel, it was our first time leaving our Frenchie when we went away for 2 weeks. They made us feel so welcomed and made us feel at ease knowing he was going to be well looked after. They kept us up to date with how he was getting on and sent lots of photos. Very happy and highly recommend would definitely use them again.
Just picked up our dog after our holiday, it's was Lunas third stay at Fir Tree Pets Hotel and she is always happy to stay and I'm confident by the way she is when we collect her she has been well looked after and enjoyed her stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a boarding kennel for their pet.

This was the first time I used fir tree but it definitely won’t be the last. My 9 year old jack Russel seemed very comfortable and very well looked after. The staff are lovely and put my mind at rest from the moment I met them. Thoroughly recommend
Not very good, I won't be using again, my dog absolutely stunk of old urine and his bed had to be thrown away when I picked him up, I have used other kennels before and never had this! My first time using this one and never again! Also my dog was very stressed when I picked up! Never using kennels again, he will be coming on holiday with us in the future. I just had a email saying this is fake! I can assure you that it not! We had our dog stay in September
Our beautiful girl stayed for a few nights and had such a fantastic time. She was so relaxed under the experience of the lovely staff. They were very helpful in guiding us on preparation to the stay and kept in touch with updates. We were thrilled with the conditions and the love they showed our girl. Our two dogs spent a week here. They aren't used to kennels but they warmed to the team at Fir Tree and the whole stay went very smoothly. Dogs now snoozing on their sofa 😂 …
We booked our 8 year old rescue in for his first ever stay in kennels for a 2 week stay( holiday booked way before we adopted him) with the previous owners, so I was very surprised when I took our boy for his holiday to find Lauren ,Charlie and Kirsty to welcome us. We'll...what a lovely welcome, Lauren,Charley and Kirtsy seemed pleased to meet and welcome him into their care. While he was staying with them we had regular updates and photos too to help put our minds at rest, which we were very grateful for. Communication was excellent and on our return they were very accommodating due to our flight was being a little delayed, we couldn't collect when we had first agreed. Lauren was so helpful and seemed to take a real shine to our lovely lad. We are very thankful, we will return and we highly recommend. Thank you Fir Trees Pet Hotel. put a neurotic new mum(me) at ease.
Our two dogs stayed for two weeks , they both seemed very well when we picked them up , but they both smelt of stale urine , and so did their beds . We had to buy new beds for them , as the smell did not wash out of the beds , even at 60 degrees !!! Overall a very expensive experience . We won’t be using this kennel again .
