Julia and Mike gave us a warm welcome and have created a home that feels peaceful, artistic, and comfortable. They were very available during their trip abroad. The location of their home is incredible- a short walk to the gorgeous West Cliff Drive. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Nice kitchen, solid internet, no TV, comfy king bed. There is a small hot tub, and a garden from which we harvested delicious cherry tomatoes. The outside deck is a perfect place to hang out, no matter what the weather. Julia and Mike generously offered their bicycles for our use. As an extra bonus, we saw two great horned owls in a nearby tree- a very special treat!

And now, the cats. Bob, an elderly gentleman, will curl up in your lap or on your chest the moment you sit on the couch. We spent many hours together- or should I say, spa days- combing and grooming and staring into each other's eyes. What a fella!

Suki was skittish at first but eventually came around. It was clear she wanted to connect but just isn't a lap cat. She'd sidle up to your side and bonk you or extend a paw and tap you gently. Adorable.

We loved our stay at Julia and Mike's. We'd happily sit for them again anytime.

Fantastic.
Lee and Roberta are kind, caring, helpful people.
Their cat is sweet, easily cared for, and loved being brushed rewarding you with purring.
Their home is stunning, beautiful, well organized.
The location is in the middle of woods with hiking and cross country ski paths immediately out the door.
I felt fortunate staying in a beautiful home with the sweetest cat.
I look forward to staying another time.

Delightful experience. The home exuded a warm, family atmosphere that made me feel right at ease. Thor, the family dog was a joy to be around, he was calm, relaxed, and easygoing. I truly enjoyed our walks together as well as spending time in the backyard.

Monica is delightful. Such sweet animals. The 3 gentle and loving dogs get along with the old cat that needs hand fed several times a day. Love these animals.

This was just a dream sit! The humans are just so kind and caring, incredibly thoughtful and generous with my kids. They have such a comforting and calm space in a nice neighbourhood. Every room in the house had been given the Halloween treatment which brought a smile to all our faces.
And then the critters..ah they are awesome 😎 Dallas is the most gentle giant goof and we miss him so much! Bean is hilarious and jumps higher than any cat I have come across!
Don’t be put off my the number of pets it wasn’t difficult at all..we would love to come back 😍

I really enjoyed getting to House sit for Janice. Her place was cozy and clean and accommodating. Her kitty Sylvie is so sweet and chill. The little town of Talent is a very nice little neighborhood next to Ashland. I highly recommend a visit. 🙂
