Dennis and Brenda seemed to take great care of Toffee and did what we asked. The house was clean and tidy when we returned.
This was our first sit with THS and we loved it. We had an initial video chat with Andrew and Kim and then followed up with various messages leading up to the sit. Andrew was prompt with responding to my queries too. We arrived in time for a full walk through and handover. We were given two lovely bedrooms and Kim had left her work set up connected so all I needed to do was attach my laptop. It's definitely a home of 5 cats and a pair of loving pet parents - there were plenty of toys, chilling zones and cat trees which the cats used regularly. Honey was the friendliest and within 15 minutes was walking over my keyboard and snuggling into my lap! She spent most evenings with me and my daughter watching tv on our laps. Amara (same name as my daughter 😍) and Taran were also very happy to be stroked and hang near us but weren't draped over us. They did however sleep with Amara on her bed every night (I kept my door closed at night and the cats were fine with that). Shadow looks big and gruff but is the biggest softie going, whereas Sascha tended to spend most time in the fenced garden with occasional play time. Food time worked well by dividing and conquering because as soon as the fridge door opened the cats were all over us! Raw food was easy to dispense but I got Amara to deliver the chicks to the cats. The separate freezer is clearly arranged and everything is portion sized which made the whole process nice and easy. We had a couple of walks into Sandbach and also in the surrounding area (a nice 5 miler on All Trails) as well as enjoying some fish n chips takeaway from across the road. Overall we really enjoyed our first sit, the hospitality of Kim and Andrew and spending time with such gorgeous cats - Thank you!
Ian was very welcoming and very easy to communicate with. I arrived a day before the sit started, so he had time to show me the daily Kiwi routine. Kiwi is a very nice, beautiful and no hassle calico cat. Would absolutely love to come back one day without having to work. The apartment and surroundings are fantastic.

Best one stop shop in the area! I initially inquired to bring my pup Ace for grooming, and Nicole was kind enough to set up our profile and get us on the schedule for the next day! I was greeted by the general manager Don, who was such a great help in introducing me to the facility and sharing all the info I needed. Our groomer Ebonie was amazing! She was very detailed and Ace came out so happy and handsome. Rebecca and Michelle helped us at checkout and answered all my questions about other services they provide. Overall an excellent place to bring my little guy. So happy. Thank you!
We have been taking our dog, Masha, to pups at play since we got her 4 years ago. She's always excited to go and the staff at Pups is so sweet with her! They really care about the dogs, and the convenience is great (right by the Walnut train station) - easy for pick up or drop off if we're coming or going to the city.
I rarely write reviews, but when I do I highlight value for all customers to be aware of. Very simply said - the team does a great job. My little crackhead comes home safe and tired out… at least for the days “appointments” are available. It’s disappointing they’re “fully booked” every day past 10am. Tricky for the folks that work later in the day. It’d be ideal to expand the facility or hire more staff. Can’t restrict business - that’s the point of having one.
We have been going to Pups at Play for years and it’s been okay. This review is a result of the most incredible experience I had last night with Michelle and Howard. This is for them!! Enroute to come pick up my sweet girl, I was caught in massive, massive traffic due to a terrible accident on route 80 in PA. This left me in bumper to bumper traffic for 3 hours, going far past the closing time of daycare. Since my sweet girl has very strict medication, leaving her for an impromptu overnight is just not an option. Michelle was incredible to work with helped me find a solution, as well as navigating traffic from the maps she could see on her desktop!!! Howard stayed late for me and welcomed me in to scoop my girl close to 9pm. So incredibly understanding as I was a wreck and never had been in this situation before. I cannot thank them enough. They are the BEST and it’s employees like them that will keep us coming back to Pups at Play. MICHELLE AND HOWARD FOR THE WIN!!
This place is a heaven for fur babies. Most reliable so far in my experience. I had to travel for 10 days and I had never left my 14 months golden retriever so I was super nervous. But when I found Pups@play montclair, all my worries were put to rest. Masti (my dog) had the best time here and the team send photos and videos every single day which I was always eagerly waiting for to see how he was doing. Masti had the best time of play and it also made him more calmer after he came home because now he is more comfortable with other dogs. Pups@play not only took a great care of him but also gave him peanut butter kong which is Masti's absolute favorite. Best part about this place is, your fur baby is not caged all day along but instead they are having a constant play time and the team is 100% monitoring them. If you are looking for dog summer camp/ slumber party style, this is your place. I highly recommend this place and Masti has definitely found his boarding slumber party place if ever I have to travel.
Very first time at the day care. People are very nice/accommodating. Our dog Chocolate seemed to enjoy the experience. Will keep you posted.. I wanted to update. My dog Chocolate is in love with Pups@Play staff and clients. He has been at day care and boarding and is so happy every time he attends a program at your facility. There is something magical about this place. Lucky us, that we found such a beautiful, loving environment for Chocolate. Thank you! Where are we at with Pups and Play? Chocolate loves every minute of his time with human and dog friends. We have a quiet home and Chocolate loves dogs. The second we tell him he is on his way to doggie day care, he is right at the door. Chocolate is the greatest dog that ever existed, keeping in mind, we are his caretakers. Chocolate feels that when he is at this facility, he is the best. He feels loved, and can run and jump and is watched over by a group with a twinkle in their eyes when they look at the dogs in their care. Ziggy barks and jumps with excitement just hearing the words “Pups at Play”. I know he has fun, plays hard and is well looked after. The staff knows him well and genuinely cares about him! We love P@P! EDITED DECEMBER 2023 Going from 5 stars to 1 star! Pups has gone downhill ever since Destination Pet took over the place. They have gotten rid of their loving and caring staff, amend policies that made for puppy parent convenience and overall just is no longer the warm friendly place it used to be. Sadly, we will not be returning to Pups in Montclair anymore.
Booked a stay for late August back on July 25. Our first time using Pups @ Play. Today—August 7, 2 weeks after the booking was made—We receive an email that Pups @ Play is unfortunately booked up through Labor Day and no new reservations can be accommodated. So I say to myself, "Well, dang! Great that they're busy, and I'm sure glad I booked my stay on July 25!" Turns out, they meant me! It took them TWO WEEKS to tell me they were booked up, the whole time I'd thought I had a reservation booked. How could a pet boarding business be that ignorant of their book that they didn't realize until 2 weeks later they were overbooked? What an awful first impression. Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise, but now I'm in a tight spot because I have to try and find boarding for my pup two weeks out from our trip. Thanks for nothing, Pups @ Play. The search for a reliable pet boarding service in North Jersey continues.
NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. I’m already an anxious dog owner as it is. I had to board my 2 small dogs for 6 days. The woman at the front desk supposedly wrote in my file my one and only simple request and they still didn’t do it. I was fuming!!!! Not to mention they want to charge for every tiny thing like an Instagram photo???? Wow. Do not ever board your dogs here . To the manager, or owner, I will be more than glad to explain my entire experience with you in private if it comes down to it.
Excellent care, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, maria comes to my house from Monday through friday and takes care of my puppy, she plays, feeds and walks him, copper loves her, shes always sending me videos and pictures. We are so fortunate to have our pup Louie with AnimalX-ing Pet Care. Maria is a gem and continuously makes Louie's life and our lives better. I sometimes refer to her as "the dog whisperer". Maria is truly the BEST! From the first time I spoke with her on the phone through every interaction she has had with our dog, it is evident that caring for animals is her passion. She is quite thoughtful in her approach to caring for pets, and has so much love and compassion for all of her furry friends. Maria and her family cared for our dog while we were away for 9 days, and she sent several photo and video updates daily, so we knew he was in great hands. Maria is amazing!!! She is very responsive and make you feel at ease that your fur baby is in good hand. She keep you updated with pictures and videos through out the day. She is very professional and reliable, she asked for my puppy daily schedule and routine so that she can follow that same schedule. Definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for pet daycare. Maria did a wonderful job taking care of our pets while my wife and I were away for 5 days. She was constantly in communication with us, very flexible and followed our pet care instructions to the tee! It was great to receive photos so often, that helped put our minds at ease. Maria is amazing with our pit bull mix! It is wonderful to have so much trust in a Dogwalker. She also cleaned our home when my husband was deployed for a year and she did a wonderful job and it was so nice having one less thing to do while I was alone. I highly recommend this business. We have used What About The Pets for my dog Rocky for daily walks for many years. Christina and her whole team are so great! We first started in 2020, continued through the pandemic and moved in 2021 outside of their service area so had to stop with our daily walks. In 2023, we moved back into their service area (yay!!). Rocky is now a senior dog with cancer and the walkers are so gentle with him, sharing fun photos every day and detailed reports of their walks. It's hard to find someone to trust with your fur baby and I have been so thankful to have them! Pic attached of Rocky in his halloween outfit they dressed him up in :)
I can not say enough positive things about my experience with What About the Pets! Christina and her team have been watching my cat for the last four years. Whether it’s just a weekend or for 10-14 day vacations, they take lots of time to not only complete basic care tasks, but also spend extra time playing with her and giving her love and attention. I really appreciate the email reports, complete with pictures, after each visit. Knowing that Christina and her team, especially Libby, are watching my fur baby gives me so much peace of mind when I’m out of town.

We went away for 5 days and were nervous to leave our baby with a pet sitter for the first time ever. We can say now as long as it’s Jaime we will never be nervous again! As you can see our cat loved her lol. We received daily photos, all directions were followed as given in regards to feedings/supplements and litter scooping and she even vacuumed around the box which I didn’t ask of her! Came home to a happy, healthy and loved kitty 😊
Jamie is wonderful! She took such great care of our little guy while we were away for a few days! I was green in the area of pet sitting because I usually take the pets everywhere with me lol. But Jamie exceeded my expectations by far! We also communicated daily while I was away, and she even sent me daily pics of my little guy. It was because of Jamie that I could relax while away! My entire family thanks her for that.

We hired Jaime to care for our pets in our home while we were away for almost two weeks. We have quite a menagerie - 4 cats and 3 dogs, several of whom have special needs. Jaime was amazing with meeting all of their needs. She kept in touch via text several times during the first few days which gave us great peace of mind. We returned home to happy, healthy pets. We’ve used Jamie now twice with our big boy Archie! Jamie is absolutely amazing and has treated our needy boy pristinely! Our first experience with Jamie found us in a pinch and needing a dog sitter for an unplanned trip. Jamie helped us calm down and made time to make sure we and Archie were comfortable with her. Needless to say we were sold and haven’t looked back since! Jamie thinks about the things most walkers/sitters don’t… she checks the temperature, she pulls in packages if they’re out front, and sends you photos of your furry one without being asked. If you need any of the services Jamie offers, do yourself a favor and book her. You won’t regret it and most importantly, your furry friend(s) will have the best time! We highly recommend Jamie!

Jamie stayed at our house with our dog Ollie for an extended stay to care for our dog while we were away and she was absolutely fantastic. Ollie is a senior dog, and he needs twice daily shots of insulin for diabetes, and Jamie managed his care beautifully. Jamie was extremely caring , making sure to keep Ollie well socialized during our absence. She was available in real time to update us, and extremely diligent about ensuring that Ollie was always a happy dog. She was also extremely respectful of our home, which she also took great care of while we were away. We really felt like Jamie treated our dog, and us , like we were her family, and we look forward to working with her again in the future.

Anybody who owns a pet knows how hard it can be finding a place or reliable person to leave your beloved pet with when it comes down to going away on vacation . I struggled for a long time to find the perfect place for my Dog Rocco until I came across Jenny in Home away from home pet services in my searches through the internet. I contacted Jenny via phone call we spoke and quickly arranged a meet and greet and right away she gave me a comforting vibe and I knew Rocco would be in safe hands . I received picture updates while on vacation of Rocco and other dogs on walks and I just knew he was having a fun time as well. I’m so glad I came across Jenny . Being a first time fur mom can be quite scary, having to leave your pup "my baby" with a total stranger can be just as uneasy.... However after my very first encounter with Jenny via phone conversation, she gave me such reassurance that not only I will be great at this, but my "Parker" will be in the best of hands!! Jenny's personality, her professionalism, and how she loves all the pups, not only speaks volumes of her overall well-being and great characteristics, but she's the epitome of "Selflessness and Genuine Love" I was a little nervous about Parker being away while we we're on a mini vacation, but the photos that Jenny sent us, showed us how happy Parks were. Jenny was an absolute pleasure to work with! I had to leave my pup with her for a long weekend and I felt so comfortable, and my dog was SO happy! Her place is like a cozy little dog sanctuary so I definitely felt like I was leaving him somewhere he'd feel comfortable and at home. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day which I loved, and always kept me in the loop. She even cooks her own organic food and treats, and sent us home with a sample to try out. 10/10 would absolutely recommend for all of your pet needs, would care and love your dog like her own!
I have been using Home Away From Home Pet Services since I relocated to New Jersey 3 years ago and I couldn't have found a better sitter for my cocker spaniel Max. Not only is Jenny professional she exuberates love and compassion for the animals in her care. Jeny's home was just what I was looking for. I have an older dog that gets very anxious so it was important for me that I found something that was as close to a home as possible. Finding someone to trust your baby with can be a nerve wracking experience. So much can potentially go wrong. And has a few times for me with others. But I knew I’d finally found the right person when I found Jenny. She’s a pro 100%. I knew she was someone I could leave the keys to my home with (literally and figuratively). She’s a great communicator. She’s thorough. She’s thoughtful. She takes initiative. She’s experienced. She’s fair and She’s kind. I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Jenny!! She has taken care of my pets for me for the last 3 years with such care and compassion. My dogs know the second we turn onto her street and start freaking out because they are so excited to see her. They hate leaving!! I have a hectic unknown schedule because I am in the airline industry and she always seems to make it work to care for my dogs last minute. I’ve always wanted a puppy, but I was not sure if I was up to the task as a first-time dog owner. After taking a leap of faith and adopting a two-month old German Shepherd mix, I found myself in over my head. In addition to the regular puppy problems like potty training and trying to avoid those needle teeth bites, after a visit to the vet we found out that our dog was infected not with just one, but four different types of parasites, as well as kennel cough. At this point we were questioning whether rescuing a puppy was the right decision. We decided to get a dog walker just to get some of that puppy energy out. We chose Dave and Bhakti because it was obvious that they loved animals and worked with them for a long time. However, we had no idea that in addition to the regular walks and optional hikes, we would also benefit from their expert medical and behavioral advice. Dave and Bhakti became our closest confidantes in everything relating to our puppy’s health and growth: from her diet to the best gear. They helped us navigate through our puppy’s health problems, survive the teething phase, as well as her neutering recovery time. When we panicked, they gave us healthy perspective on how our puppy was doing and kept us grounded when we were doubting our abilities. In addition to walks and hikes, Dave and Bhakti provided last-minute boarding for our dog when my husband and I needed to go away for a week on a short notice. Sometimes we joke that they are our puppy’s god parents. I would recommend Dave and Bhakti’s services to anyone who has a dog or a cat – from first-time owners, to seasoned pet parents.
I found RxTRA Care right after I had my first child and couldn't get out to walk our spirited, attention seeking dog. Daily reliable walks quickly turned into hiking adventures (with follow up photos that I LOVE) for our black lab and I'm not sure who is happier, the dog or me. Dave and Bhakti are professional, friendly and incredibly reliable. It's also helpful and reassuring to know that they have vet tech backgrounds in case anything were to come up. They're quick to respond if I need to travel for work at the last minute and always go above and beyond to accommodate us. I'm so grateful to have found them!
I recently hired RxTRA CARE Pet Sitting Service to take care of my four cats while I was out of town. They did a wonderful job caring for all of my cats, as well as administering much needed medication to my difficult and somewhat moody elderly kitty. They were extremely professional with excellent communication via their modern and efficient online system. Everyday I received updates with a checklist of everything that had been done, as well as pictures! When I arrived home my cats were calm, well-fed and everything was clean. Never once did I worry about my cats or home while away!
My experience with RxTRA CARE Pet Sitting has been absolutely wonderful from the first phone call up until present day. I have left my physically special needs dog in their care overnight, while vacationing, various times. The combination of love and knowledge they have in caring for animals is priceless! Until I met them, I have never gone away and not worried about my pets. It is such an amazing feeling to be so relaxed! Also, my dog who is timid with everyone absolutely loves and trusts them.
Bhakti was wonderful with my cats today! They both are very friendly cats but dislike getting their nails done! Lol It was great that she was able to come to my home, instead of taking them to the vet which is such a hassle! Bhakti Made them feel at ease and was able to get it done in no time! Will be using RX Pet Care in the future!
Our kitties are our babies, and when we were gone for our Honeymoon for 8 nights, we knew they were in good hands. We got pictures and more during daily updates! When we returned home, our two furbabies were happy as could be. One of our cats is extremely nervous, and we were anxious to leave him because he hides and has trouble adjusting to any changes. David and Bhakti were wonderful with him, and even managed to get pictures of him just to make sure he was doing okay! When we got home, he adjusted faster than he ever has, and we know it's because of the wonderful, genuine care he got while we were away. Thank you so much! I used to travel a lot for business, often at last minute, or had to stay in city late for a biz meal. So when I recently learned that my cat had diabetes and required 2x a day insulin shots, exactly 10-12 hours apart for the rest of his life, I honestly wept in the vet's office. How would I ever manage this--or the cost? My vet recommended a few (very expensive) people who could come in to give cat shots but when first trip arrived, they weren't available, only confirming my fears this was about be a never-ending, logistical nightmare. But one of the unavailable sitters recommended RxTRA CARE. David and Bhakti were able to come over on very short notice to go over my cat's needs. They were so professional and knowledgeable (given their own vet/medical experience) and such lovely, warm people, I was suddenly encouraged. Their rates are extremely reasonable. But the very best thing is how easy they've made using their service through their website. You can book appts online--a feature I love (as I often plan travel late in evenings). You can also pay online--no more frantic trips to bank to get cash as you're trying to get out of town. Absolute best part is they log every visit to your home on the website with a quick journal entry and a pic of your pet, so you know exactly when they've been there. The pics of my cat, which hilariously capture his many moods, are the icing on cake. And when I had a question, they responded in about 15 minutes. Easy peasy--truly the best. I'm writing this review becuz I am DESPERATE for this company to thrive so I can rely on it for the rest of my cat's life! Most pet owners don't need my standard of care, but it's clear they can do everything: walk dogs, pet grooming, check in on regular cats (who just need food and litter scooped). and should your pet get sick, they have the expertise to handle it. These are great people offering a great service.
RxTRA Care Pet are AMAZING. They're caring with our dog Sage, who is a hyper goldendoodle -- and always love her and care for her. I recommend them whole-heartedly and they make sure she gets great exercise!!!!

Melissa is the absolute BEST thing that ever happened to Miles and me. Miles is a German Shepherd rescue who suffered from severe anxiety issues. I had been to several behavioralist, tried different doggie days cares but nothing helped so I thought I would try Jersey Dogs as a last resort. This month marks our one year anniversary with Jersey Dogs and I couldn’t be happier with Melissa and her partner Josh. Miles started going two days a week and just after two weeks I could see a huge improvement in his demeanor. He now goes 5 days a week! I never thought I would be able to take him on hikes with me without a leash but thanks to Melissa his recall is fantastic and we enjoy our time together outside and off leash!!! He is just a happy dog now through and through thanks to Melissa. Happy dog, happy dog mom for sure. 😁😍😁
Having recently become a first-time dog owner, I was SO overwhelmed with my young boxer's energy (and separation anxiety). Trying to tire her out each morning before work, with hopes she didn't ruin my apartment while gone, was growing old QUICKLY :P I stumbled upon Melissa/Jersey Dogs while I was attempting to develop a schedule for Georgia, which was diverse (e.g., not day care 5 days a week), easy for me to maintain, and equal parts tiring/fun for her! Upon reaching out to Melissa, she was quick to respond and set up a meet and greet. At our meet and greet, she asked a number of great/relevant questions and was so patient with Georgia's puppy energy. We set up Georgia's first half-day hike/play date (dog park + pack hike) for the following week. One of Melissa's walkers picked GA up while I was at work (easy lock box-type situation), and off they went. I later received photos of her playing at the dog park and subsequently, enjoying a pack hike. Upon her arrival home, the walker was kind enough to feed her (I had lunch/dinner prepped in the fridge) before leaving. GA slept the rest of the afternoon without wreaking havoc in my apartment. Bonus points that my all white boxer didn't return covered in mud, which was one of my fears. Since that first outing, Georgia has gone on a hike just about every week. I'm so excited for their summer adventures and plan to keep Melissa/Jersey Dogs in Georgia's weekly rotation :)
Melissa from Jersey Dogs is amazing! She comes twice a week to pick my pup up for either a play date or a hike and drops him off after. When he sees her pull up, he is so excited, he runs to her and doesn’t look back! He comes home exhausted which is a win win! I always look forward to the videos and pictures I get later on that day of my pup playing with all the other dogs. Melissa takes excellent care of the animals and I have complete trust in her. I highly recommend her services!
Melissa is wonderful with our poodle puppy (6 mos old). She always lets me know how she did with the other dogs. I love the pictures and videos of the pups having the best time. My puppy gets SO excited when Melissa picks her up & is happy and tired when she returns.
Melissa and her team are absolutely wonderful. We found them via a local Facebook group and couldn’t be happier. They do regular walks for our two large dogs as well as playgroups and hikes. Our dogs always come back tired and happy. Melissa sends pictures and videos from every play group or hike and it’s nice to be able to see how our pups are spending their time. She’s also super responsive. We’ve had no issues working with her and the team. Highly recommend their services.
We love Jersey dogs! We’ve been trusting Melissa and her team with our Alfie for the last 18 months and have been nothing but pleased. They are reliable, flexible, professional, safe and offer a range of activities for the pups. Alfie’s walks, hikes and play dates are the highlight of his day. He’s made lots of pup friends and is noticeably more socialized and better on the leash since his time with Jersey Dogs
I left my amazing, sweet little guy in their care and he was killed. He had only been with them three times before this happened. In the past year, I have received numerous messages from previous employees of this “company,” former clients, and been contacted by animal control, letting me know about the continued recklessness and negligence of this company. If you know any animal owners in the state of New Jersey or you have your own fur babies, do not hire these people or any associated businesses to take care of your four legged loved ones. It has been one of the biggest regrets of my life. This business was not bonded and insured as advertised and tried to avoid accountability as much as possible. I would give zero stars if it were possible.
I have been working with Jersey dogs, and in particular Melissa and Phil for almost five years. I LOVE THEM. They are so wonderful to my 12-pound, grumpy old man Chip, who is now 17 years old. My dog can be fiery and onery, but he responds well to all of the walkers. They really get animals and understand dogs. As he has aged and is now losing his sight, I know that I can count on them to take care of him and give him love and careful attention, as I would. My fur baby, well old man, is extremely important to me because unlike my child, he cannot talk to me, so knowing that I have good second parents/caretakers make all the difference when I have to work or if I have long hours and need them to back me up as doggy caregiver.
Melissa is fantastic. Our dog is always so happy to see her. Great with puppies and dogs in need of a lot of activity. And she picks up from your home! A perfect solution for working owners.
Melissa and her crew are the best! They are so patient and kind. My little (demon) lady comes home so tired that she takes hours of naps. And when she sees them she goes bananas! That definitely says alot about them. I trust my pup to them at any time.
I searched for quite a while for a dog daycare for our family dog that we trusted and that our dog enjoyed. After trying out several places that just didn't feel right, we found Li'l Woof Club, and it's really been the perfect fit! Susan and her whole staff are so lovely and incredibly loving to all of the dogs, they keep all of them engaged and we never ever question the security or safety of the facility or dogs in the pack, unlike some other places I've read reviews about. Equally important, they keep the facility immaculately clean!! We bring our dog there several times a week every week and on occasions when they open on the weekends, and it's been the perfect socialization environment for him. He has such a blast and comes home satisfied and tired from all the play. After every visit they send pictures and videos which is so appreciated. Our whole family gets such a kick out of seeing him play with the "pack"! f We can't recommend Li'l Woof Club enough!!
I'm a first time dog owner, and I happened to get the most energetic dog EVER. Fortunately, I found the Li'l Woof Club, where my dog, Stubs, gets to expend all that energy. It's right across from the train station that I use to get to work, so each morning that I go into the office, Stubs literally pulls me over, super excited to see the friends that he's made (both dog and human). And after I pick him up after work and take him home, he goes straight to his bed and dozes for the rest of the day -- something that never happens any time. He's just so tired from all the play! The staff even sends me pictures and videos of his day, so I get to see all the shenanigans he partakes in. It's easy to see how much the staff loves and cares for Stubs, and I'm grateful to basically have them as his second family!
In my search for a facility that meets my criteria (clean space, friendly staff, convenient, etc.), I stumbled upon LWC, but wasn't entirely certain my dog would be permitted, as she isn't small per se (adult boxer who much prefers small dogs). I reached out to Susan, who was very responsive and offered to do a meet and greet/temperament test the very next day to determine whether or not it would be a good fit. She showed me around both the indoor and outdoor areas, which I loved (not all facilities offer such transparency) -- it was clear they clean everyday and take pride in the space, which is designed to accommodate ~20 dogs at a time. We stayed for about 30 minutes, during which time Georgia enjoyed exploring and playing with the few dogs that were still there (it was late in the afternoon). Since then, Georgia has spent a couple full days there each week, and she loves it (I can tell by how excited she gets when she realizes it's where we are going). Susan sends adorable photos/videos at the end of the day, and the other staff members are lovely. They're located conveniently off Bloomfield Ave./the GSP, with ample parking in the back lot if street parking is unavailable. I believe they also offer bathing/grooming services, which I will likely use at some point. Overall, I'm so happy with LWC and appreciate how sweetly they love on my dog :)
Susan and her staff have been fantastic. As a first time puppy (and dog owner) I was a little hesitant about enrolling my Penny into daycare. However, I am SO happy that I chose the LI’L Woof Club! All of the staff members are caring, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Penny always comes home happy and exhausted. And the pictures they take are so awesome! Susan has also been super accommodating for weekend boarding. We are very thankful for the LI’L Woof Club!
Lil’ Woof Club is a fantastic place to take care of your fur-baby. The owner, Susan, and the rest of the staff are certainly dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and caring environment for the dogs. My dog, Hoagie, RUNS to their door each morning and can’t wait to spend the day there. They treat your pup like it’s their pup.
Our dog Moe has been going to the Li'L Woof Club weekly for about 7 months. He loves it, and I love the flexibility of having a place for him to play all day when I meetings. Susan and her staff are upbeat and caring. They are incredibly patient with Moe and his habit of barking when excited (which is frequent!). He runs to the door when arriving and immediately conks out for a nap once he's home. Thank you for having him!
We can’t thank Susan and her staff enough for the five star treatment our pup receives. He gets sooo excited every time we pull up in front of the location and has a blast. I love that Susan has an initial assessment to make sure your dog is a right fit for the doggie daycare. Her staff is amazing and so loving. We love receiving photos the next day of our dog’s fun and eventful day. The photo is of our Frankie every time he gets home from daycare.
So happy to have found this place for our little fur baby! With having to return to in-person work days, we didn't want to keep our pup in a crate all day and Li'L Woof Club is the perfect space to have him go where he will have a lot of fun and be well looked after. Susan and ALL of the staff here are always welcoming and absolutely love each and every pup left in their care. My pup only jumps out of the car when he knows we have arrived at Li'L Woofs and cannot wait to enter each and every time. His excitement at seeing the staff members warms my heart. Susan and the staff send pics of our pup enjoying his day with his other pack mates and it makes us feel so good that he is having so much fun and getting all the exercise he needs. I would recommend this establishment if you are in need of a doggy daycare, boarding and/or wash. They are simply the best and our puppy truly LOVES going to Li'L Woofs Club.
Our dog is soooo happy when he gets near LWC! Can't wait to play with his friends. Susan and staff love -- and understand -- dogs. His time there has made him more confident and socialized. And, our guy greets us in great spirits at the end of every day he's there. Highly recommended!
My puppy Lola is sooo happy going to the Woof Club! The staff is so warm and sweet, especially Ruby and Amanda—so caring & always gets my lola to eat her food (my dog is SUPER picky). Susan is beyond accommodating and cares about her place of business and her customers :p
Montclair Pet Girl is simply wonderful. They are my immediate go-to when I travel, as they take excellent care of my two kitties, giving them love and cuddles, feeding them, making sure they have plenty of water, cleaning out their litter, and sending me wonderful texts and videos. I trust them completely. They are also very reasonably priced, they respond to any texts or questions right away, and they make it super easy to book their services. They will also come to you before your trip for a meet and greet with you and your pets. I can't recommend them more highly!
We have used Montclair Pet Girl for over a year now for our cats and we are so pleased with the quality of service and the reliability of the team. Our cats have received the care and attention they need when we are away. I am especially grateful to receive daily updates with photos of our cats and a description of the care provided. Our cats are usually distrustful of strangers but they warmed up to the sitters from MPG immediately.
Janine and the Montclair Pet Girl crew are all fantastic! I could not recommend them highly enough. My dog, Paschal, adores them for his daily walks. We have also used the petsitting service and it has been fantastic. Janine is always super responsive and has always been there for us when we need last minute emergency walks!! We contacted MPG for help with our Frenchie about a year and a half ago and are so happy to have found them!! Allie takes such good care of our little man. She goes above and beyond to make sure he’s safe in inclement weather, gives him enrichment toys before leaving, and even does buddy walks with his fur friends from the building next door! We truly appreciate the professionalism, reliability and care that we’ve seen from everyone at Montclair Pet Girl. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
They really are the Furry Best! Our dog, Daffy, absolutely loves Adrian which is obviously the most important thing when considering a pet care service. However, the advantages are endless: photos every time he goes out which never fail to make us smile (I've shared some here that Adrian has taken for us). Rapid responses and amazing short timeframe flexibility for when we're in the in the city but want to make sure Daffy is walked and taken care of. The extra effort to provide Daffy with variety, not just to the same place or the same route every day. Adrian really knows Daffy as an individual dog and for us the knowledge that we have a reliable, confident and caring individual to help with Daffy is priceless.
I’ve been on the search for a reliable dog walking company and this is it! They’re the best for my fur-babies. I’ve tried other dog walking services but doesn’t compare to the furry best pet care. Marisa and Drayton are amazing and go above and beyond for our dogs. We had an incident where one of our dogs needed a last minute bath and they were able to squeeze us in. Once I got home my pup was nicely groomed and smelled so good! I can totally trust them with our dogs and know they’ll be in the absolute best care. I’m so happy a service like this is available in my building!
The Furry Best is an awesome service! Drayton is super responsive and flexible with last minute walks. He is great with dogs and knows how to pair your dog with others so they get some much needed play time. All walks are tracked and you receive lots of pictures and feedback when the walk is finished. I had the best experience with Furry Best pet care this past weekend! They took incredible care of our cat Charlotte while we were away on vacation. Their in-house boarding services are very helpful and convenient as they will visit your pet and take of them in the comfort of their home. They took such incredible detailed care of our girl - making sure to feed, play and spend time with her (our cat is a more social cat who demands a lot more attention/time/play). It was so great having Marisa + Drayton care so much for her and enjoy time with her. The updates and messages from the online portal are amazing because you receive photos as well as reports on how your pet is doing.HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who is looking for trustworthy and caring people to watch after your furbabies. Five stars! :)
The furry best pet care is amazing! We got our puppy at 8 weeks, and with both of us working full time we needed someone to feed and play with him during the day. From the start they have accommodated our puppy’s needs by combining services and providing excellent care. We love getting the walk summaries, and our pup absolutely loves the team… They’ve also helped with training our puppy. Not only do they work one-on-one with him, but guided us on how to continue and progress the training. We learned so much from the first session alone! I don’t know what we would do without the Furry Best team! Highly recommended for anyone with a pup needing extra company or training.

We have been using their dog walking services from past few months...My dog always does a happy dance whenever Adrian comes or he sees him from far :) The dog walking services with furry best care is prompt, reliable, trustworthy and we always get all updates on the walk status. I haven’t used boarding services yet but will definitely plan to use it on our next trip !
Honestly the best dog walking service out there! Adrien is SO GREAT with our dog Mica... every time she sees him (even when we see him out and about with other dogs) she gets so excited! It’s like she’s got a new best friend. It’s so rare to find someone who will care for your dog like it’s there own but best furry pet care really goes that extra mile. I often have to schedule last minute walks and never has there been an issue with availability or communication. I know Mica is always safe and cared for in their hands. Also, the rates are more than fair for the exceptional service and care your pet receives. I’ve also found that Mica’s walks and play time with other pups have made her more socialized and well behaved around other animals and that’s all thanks to Best Furry Pet Care and Adrien. You’d be crazy not to try them out!
All I can say is we're very grateful for Furry Best. Natalia is more than what we could ask for as a dog walker. She comes every noon to get Sparky, then they walk around the block, and even before she leaves our house, Natalia will give Sparky a hug, belly rubs him and assures that he's loved even for a short time. We're professionals who work long hours and having Furry Best, especially Natalia, visit Sparky and potty him is what we needed. She's a huge help and we just can't thank her enough for catering Sparky. If you need a dog walker, I definitely recommend furry best! They're amazing and the communication is never in question. They will answer when you message them, Natalia always does. She updates us about their walks, leaves food for Sparky and water to make sure he's good for the day while waiting for us. The Furry Best Pet Care is truly the furry best. It's really easy to schedule an appointment and the dog walk recaps are super helpful to see where they went and if they "went". Dray and Marisa are great with the dogs and treat them like their own. Highly recommended.
