I had a really nice time at Emma & Simon’s home! They clearly went out of their way to ensure I was welcomed, had a great time in Haslemere and stayed in touch throughout. Bonnie and Tati were a pleasure to spend time with - they really kept me busy and that’s all I could ask for! The house and gardens are gorgeous, and really made for a beautiful time in this lovely little village. I really would love to go back again in the future! Sorry for the delay in posting this feedback. I thought I had already left it, but apparently not. We very much enjoyed meeting Leslie and Aurora. Such a fascinating couple. Even more fascinating was Cleo, who we fell in love with immediately. She is big but gentle. A tentative sitter or one not used to larger dogs may not want to take her on, but we had no problems whatsoever and just loved her so much. She was easy-going and affectionate, and minded well. She sure loved her treats! LOL Leslie and Aurora's home is older but comfortable and filled with interesting artifacts and artwork. The back yard is a real treat because it attracts all sorts of birds. Location was great for a quick trip to the beach or into downtown Charleston. We had so much fun exploring the area. We would gladly return for another sit.
We'd wanted to sit for a Golden Retriever since we signed up for this site, and we were so excited when Marlee and Matt agreed to have us and gift us the opportunity to care for such a sweet boy! Murph will completely melt your heart and he is such a delight to care for. He is good with commands (especially if you have a treat in hand!) and he will excitedly give you a tour of San Rafael, which we came to love in our short time there. Marlee and Matt were such gracious hosts. Despite having a breed that is known for shedding, their apartment was spotless when we arrived. Their apartment is beautifully decorated and they have all the equipment you need to work, eat, and relax comfortably. Downtown, grocery stores, and many excellent restaurants are all within walking distance, making this stay a must! Thank you so much for having us!
This was a wonderful pet sit. Teddy and Lily were the sweetest pups; we miss them already! Ruth and Adam had everything organized and flawless upon our arrival. They were kind enough to let me bring my 75-year-old mother along! They cooked us a wonderful dinner the evening before (so good!) and they picked up fresh bagels for us in the morning. Their home is just lovely, and the saltwater pool made it that we never even wanted to leave. Everything we needed to relax was right there! We feel like we made some great friends in Adam, Ruth, and her mother Linda. They are just genuine and wonderful people. You won’t go wrong choosing this petsit!
GREAT housesit! Nicola is an excellent communicator; along with our pre-visit Facetime call, she provided us with a detailed guidebook about the house, pets and surrounding area. On their departure day/our arrival day, we had lunch together to get to know the house and dogs (and chickens) - such a nice touch! Flint, Spike and Daisy are energetic, fun and obedient dogs (responding well to calls to return when playing outside, sit, stay, etc). Very easy to get on with and so friendly/cuddly! They have their own room at night for sleeping and stayed there happily until morning every day. The chickens are easy! The house is warm and welcoming, in an amazing location, and has local walks from the door and very interesting towns within easy reach of a morning out in the car (Rye, Dungeness, Whitstable). Tenterden has a Waitrose and Tesco, as well as high street with lots of independent shops. The sitter stays in guest suite (within the house, but still feels like your own space) which was warm, comfortable and has a great shower! Much better than some AirBnBs we've used! Definitely recommend this sit and would welcome an opportunity to return if dates align! Thank you Nicola and James!
This was such a wonderful sit! We arrived the night before the sit and Karen and Scott kindly hosted us for the night before leaving early the next morning. From the start, Finn was an absolute JOY to care for. He is so sweet, would follow us around and keep us company with whatever we were doing. He has a good amount of energy (enough for 3 walks/ day, and sometimes we would run!) but was never too rambunctious, nor barked at all. Karen and Scott’s home is beautiful, fully equipped, worked well for two people remote working, and is in a great neighborhood in Denver. Evening Finn walks in the shopping area through the fairy lights were magical. We had no issue navigating without a car. The only downside was having to leave! We miss Finn so much! Highly recommend this sit.
