Ben and Elli were incredibly hospitable and relaxed when we came to housesit their lovely modern apartment in our now favourite area of Berlin. They took us out for dinner the night before and gave us plenty of local tips on good places to eat, drink, and visit. Their cats Lucy and Oskar are playful, affectionate, and easy to care for and we felt right at home hanging with them. Highly recommend this sit!
Juliet & Chris are great hosts and made me feel very welcome. Bear and Juno are very well trained dogs that you can easily take out in a car as well. Thames Valley area is great for walking the dogs. In places with no or very low traffic you can walk the dogs without a lead. But Juliet will tell you all about that. Be aware for those not holding a UK drivers license you are NOT allowed by UK insurance companies to drive a UK car. A Brexit result that still needs to be resolved. You can however rent a car. In short I had a very nice stay and would definitely go back if applicable.

This was such a great sit experience. Murray is a total love. Very quiet, very affectionate and overall easy. He’s really cute and one of the favorite dogs we’ve sat for. Rachel is also very sweet and easy to communicate with. Her home is spacious and comfortable and very well located in town. Lots of walking options including a few parks and Whole Foods right around the corner. Highly recommended- we hope to sit for Rachel and Murray again!
Katherine and Stefano are wonderful hosts! We received very clear instructions on how to take care of cats and apartment. We also were in touch during the stay, in case of any questions, they were ready to help and answer eveything. Melu and Zoe are really low-maintanace and friendly cats. Melu takes more time to open up to new people, but she’s still a lovely cat, very clear in her feelings about you. Zoe may be shy at first, but within an hour she’s ready to be your best friend. The apartment itself is amazing, looks even better than on pictures. We found workplaces extremely comfortable for remote work, we were enjoying it every second
The most peaceful stay out in the country with two very lovely doggies. Lola and Sully are both very easy going, well behaved dogs. Lola loves to sleep or cuddle on the sofa but also likes to get out on a walk around the farm with her big buddy Sully. Sully is a bundle of energy who loves to go for walks or have his ball thrown (Ben and I got very good at cricket during our stay with Sully making an excellent fielder). He is a very sweet dog without a bad bone in his body. Charlotte was extremely lovely to deal with from start to finish. Both her and her husband Mike made us feel very welcome in their home. Their home is spacious and super comfortable and we found the whole sit very relaxing. If you want to leave the property I would recommend you have a car (although there is an extremely lovely local pub in walking distance). By car all the conveniences of Bicester are less than 10 mins away. All in all, a very peaceful and comfortable escape to the country.
