We were Matthews very first sit on this site. and it was a lot  to ask of someone first time out. While both my dogs are small, one is brain damaged and has some erratic behavioral issues. Matthew was new to the environment of my home, and the circumstance of both dogs, but he rose to the occasion, and showed up in many many ways, all of my gear for the dogs arranged in his car outings recorded in photos introductions to Neighbors and Portland Oregon. Winter weather nonstop rain. We communicated generally at least once a day, and there was a photo of each pop sent to me daily as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the order and tidying us of the home when I got back, he was a very respectful guest in my home, and deeply appreciated as a pet sitter 
Thank you Nathalie for another great week + of house/Dog sitting. I returned home as always to a perfectly clean home and a happy dog. The lunch you prepared for us was delicious and very thoughtful! Cannot recommend Nathalie enough! Mary B
John and Sue were fantastic and very professional sitters ,collecting every possible piece of information from us that they may possibly need for when we would be away. They stayed with us the night before we went away. Very interesting and easy company and we felt very relaxed leaving them to look after Santi and Jonty . They sent daily updates and photos of them all out and about hiking in the mountains . When Santi had a slight slip out on one of his walks and they immediately took every precaution by getting him to the Vets as he appeared to be in pain! They kept us informed and within a few days Santi was back to his old self. We even returned to a few essentials in the fridge along with a lovely big healthy salad which was much needed after a week on a Cruise ship!! The house was also spotless with their room and bedding washed ironed and re made up "Visitor ready" I wouldn't hesitate to recommend John and Sue. in fact we have them booked in already for another sit!! 5 Stars *****
We had such an amazing time at this sit! The house was beautiful, the pets were lovable and sweet, and the town was adorable! The cats were easy to take care of and the dogs loved to cuddle and were energetic and had the fenced in backyard to run around in. Peter and Lori were great host and gave us a tour of the place and even sent a detailed email about all the info you would need. Highly recommend this sit and would happily go again! :)
Our time spent sitting for the too-cute-for-words Nelle (with the sweetest personality and longest lashes you've ever seen!) was an absolute delight. She was such a sport, wagging her tail while accompanying us wherever we went. That said, we spent a lot of time at the house (I worked remotely during our stay) and we honestly wouldn't have wanted to spend much time away from Rebecca and Steve's amazingly appointed and perfectly situated abode. The gardens are exquisite and require a thorough watering (in the dryer seasons), but tending to them only increased the enjoyment of our stay. (Both the front and the back landscaping, including the Giant Redwood, are more beautiful than the nearby botanical gardens!) We already miss walking Nelle through the Berkeley Hills, peppered with parks, secret trails, and friendly neighbors...-- we were so lucky to have had this memorable experience. - And we feel all the more fortunate to have met Rebecca and Steve, who are not only considerate and kind hosts, but truly wonderful human beings.
