Wow! I absolutely cannot say enough!! Tom and Joy met us the day before, provided a delightful dinner and have lots of great suggestions of enjoyable things to do during our sit week. The pets were remarkable! Chynna is a sweetheart as are both cats, Neko and Peri. All were well mannered and fun of love and entertainment. Absolutely a fabulous bunch! Their home is beautiful, relaxing and close to a multitude of things to keep you busy yet close enough to easily check on the pets! We would love to return!
It was an absolute pleasure to look after Layla and Ella for two months. They are both well-behaved and easy to care for, as well as full of personality and love. I will miss them both very much. Mary was extremely helpful (she even let me stay on a couple extra days when my flight home had to be delayed), and her home is comfy and in a good location. It was situation where we both got each other out of a jam, and honestly, I could not have asked for any more from the experience. Thanks again, Mary! :)
We had the most enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing time staying in Rosie and Harry's gorgeous house in the Lothian countryside, their home is truly lovely. The location was superb for walking along the Firth of Forth and within the Hopetown House Deer park, we had regular sightings of the deer just over the garden wall. Rosie was a very friendly, generous and thoughtful host, she was very considerate of our comfort whilst staying in their beautiful home. We were made to feel very welcome indeed and as such we were very relaxed. Communication with Rosie was easy and responsive. Our ensuite bedroom was large, quiet and very comfortable. Monkey the cat was a real treat to look after, we had many cuddles on the sofa in the evening time or on our bed in the morning. He truly is a very sweet cat who enjoys company. The chickens were the most tame we have ever cared for, they are obviously well used to people, being handled and following their daily routine of leaving their large free-range garden to return to their house each night with no fuss. They rewarded us generously with lovely eggs. This sit was everything we hoped for, we highly recommend this opportunity and we would not hesitate to reapply for future opportunities.
Eleri and her husband were great hosts. They invited us in a few hours beforehand to meet their cats Hobnob and Kitkat. Their apartment was immaculately clean. Instructions were concise, and simple to follow!! Would absolutely adore to be able to house sit for them again (and Hobnob and Kitkat) should the opportunity arise
Canyon is the sweetest, most affectionate, playful pup there is. They have a beautiful home right on the water, making it perfect to take Canyon on walks by the beach/boardwalk. I had a blast!
We had a wonderful time sitting for Rory and family. Rory was easy to talk to and clearly explained the responsibilities and gave us a nice virtual tour of their lovely home. Bosco and Scout were adorable and so fun to watch and cuddle with. The walk with the dogs into town was beautiful and they get lots of attention because they are so cute. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and the view at night. We would definitely recommend this sit.
