This was a fantastic sit that we would do again. Dallas was easy to take care of with 24 hour access to a yard and a variety of parks nearby to run off her exuberant energy. She is crazy about her frisbee outdoors, but is total love sponge and calm at home. We were able to take her on outings with us around town checking out really cool pet friendly places like the Artmosphere. Morgan and Brook were super welcoming, laid back and communicative during the whole process. Their home comfy and well located to explore Lafayette where we ate way too much because the food is fantastic. We also thoroughly enjoyed our first exposure to Acadian culture and history mostly for the super friend locals and zydeco music (available any night of the week), but also the Jean Lafitte National Park nearby.
It was a pleasant for me to spend time with Zoya. Anatol is such nice person. He always answered all my questions and helped me in everything. He has a beautiful apartment with a great location. Now Zoya has a special place in my heart. 🥹It was such a great experience for my first time using TrustedHousesitters
We had a fabulous week staying at Melissa and Rob’s cottage in Youghal and DJ is just the most fabulous, cute little dog. A pleasure to look after, friendly and so affectionate! We were really sad to leave him. Melissa and Rob were fantastic hosts and the cottage and location were perfect. So many beautiful places to visit and a gorgeous choice of dog walks; beach, woods, hills, mountains etc. A big thank you to Melissa and Rob. We couldn’t recommend this sit highly enough! :)
We had a great time taking care of Bruce, Mylo and Coco. Coco was so cute when she tried to copy Mylo and make a "mean" face. She enjoyed lots of belly rubs and lets you know when she needs more of them. Mylo became my shadow, following my every step which was very cute. He would always get jealous when Bruce got some attention but as long as he gets a pet at the same time he is relaxed about that. Bruce is a gentle giant and a beautiful dog. He is very relaxed and a great companion. We enjoyed Vals home and got very lucky with the nice weather. We enjoyed the garden and had some nice walks around the area. As her family is living very close by, it was easy to also make a daytrip as they had time to let the dogs out once in a while. After our arrival we immediately felt welcome and got some great suggestions for pubs :) It was already hard to leave, but the 3 standing at the window looking at us when we left was just heartbreaking. But we had a wonderful time!
Carla’s house is great and the cats are very relaxed and kind. They don’t ask a lot of attention, they just want to be around you and chill in the garden now and then. The garden is amazing, with sun all day. Badhoevedorp is a perfect place to stay. Easy to go to Amsterdam or to the beach.
I had the best time housesitting for Jane! Happy and JJ were so friendly. JJ took a little bit of time to warm up to me, but by the time I left, he was spending time each morning, snuggling in bed with me. We had planned for me to spend the night there before Jane left the next day, but I was sick. I didn’t want to spread it to her right before she left for her trip so I got a hotel room. Jane was so awesome about it. She made videos to show me where everything was , instead of meeting up for the handoff. She has a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It was super close to all of the fun things to do in Nashville. I highly recommend this sit if I’m not available!
