Izzy and Feather (dogs) were so well behaved during my stay, responded well to commands and loved a cuddle on the couch! Sarah and Neil (owners) were very accomodating and hospitable, with plenty of helpful instructions and setting me up with the neighbours. Their town is so wonderful and everyone is extremely friendly. Such a great experience and I will miss the girls (Feather and Izzy) cheeky personalities.
I had a great time at Guido’s, the place was very comfortable and the location was great. Guido was a very nice host, the communication was very good and he was very flexible with my arrival and departure. Lunedi is a shy kitty, but he is the sweetest, if you respect his space he’ll show his appreciation. Overall a 10/10 experience.
Vicki and I had been in contact long before our arrival; we hit it off from our first conversation. 😁 Jon and I felt right at home when we walked into Vicki and Michael's house. The walls are full of colorful, eye-catching artwork and thought-provoking pieces collected from their travels. Michael's master craftsmanship is on display throughout the interior and exterior of the house. Every detail of the design is intentional and functional. Their bookshelves were packed full of various genres; I sat and read up on several different subjects that were of interest to me while I was there. The private back garden is a little slice of heaven in this urban setting. The neighborhood is rich in texture and diversity. While there, we would take Bill and Soda on walks, and all the neighbors we passed said hello and knew the dogs well. We felt welcome in the neighborhood and found ourselves chatting with people more here than any other place we have visited over the past year. We all had masks on most of the time and had no problems or issues with our friendly banter. We ran in the nearby parks, and we rode our bikes to shops and breweries with ease. It is a bike-friendly city. We enjoyed our stay so much we started looking at places to rent in the neighborhood. But, I must admit the highlight of our visit was Bill 🐶; he may be tiny, yet he is full of personality a unique spirit...we ❤️Bill. It took him about one day to warm up to us, and after that, we were all the best of friends. He went on car rides with us and lots of walks; he even enjoyed an afternoon wine tasting adventure. He was a great snuggler while watching movies, and he liked to listen to Jon play the guitar on the patio while he and soda soaked up the sunshine. Soda was with us part of the time, and she is a big mellow love bug of a dog (just not if you are the mailman 🤣). I hope that we all stay connected, and if Vicki & Michael need a sitter again, they reach out to us, and we are available. -Jay
This was such a relaxing and enjoyable sit. Jamie & Patrick are great long distance hosts as well as pet parents, and left such detailed instructions that we were able to easily navigate the sit without questions or concerns. Their home is clean, comfortable, and we loved spending time in the backyard pool and back patio- we ended up spending the majority of our time outside. Koda & Cassie are so much fun. They both have so much personality, and are super loving. Once they warmed up to us, they were constantly by our sides- I felt like a privileged member of their pack. Koda is definitely a watchful big brother to Cassie, and seems to keep her in line. He felt protective and also like a huge teddy bear. Cassie loves fetch and has so much energy, but also likes to chill and be loved on. They are so much fun, and we already miss them. 100% would sit again in a heartbeat- adore these dogs.
An Unforgettable Week with the Sanchez Family - Our experience with the Sanchez family has been nothing short of amazing. Without a doubt, the week we spent communicating and connecting with them will stand out as one of the most memorable experiences we would have on this platform, including upcoming sitting experiences. We want to express our deepest gratitude to the Sanchez family and the TrustedHouseSitter platform for granting us this opportunity. Valérie and Fernando Exemplify An Ideal Couple That We Want To Resemble - Right from the very beginning, amidst their busy packing, Valérie and Fernando warmly embraced us into their home and kindly guided us through every detail. Their help and support made our transition into the new environment seamless. Even in our brief interactions, it was evident that Valérie and Fernando possess extraordinary kindness. They epitomize the ideal couple whose example we aspire to follow in the future. Eclipse, the Delightful Companion - Eclipse, their adorable cat, captured our hearts instantly. She radiates love and kindness, thoroughly enjoying the company of people. When we called her name, she responded with undeniable charm and showered us with affection. This experience has completely transformed Jung's perception as a self-proclaimed dog person, as he discovered the unique and undeniable charm of cats. We wholeheartedly recommend pet-sitting for the Sanchez family, and we will cherish the unforgettable moments we shared together. Our deepest appreciation goes to the Sanchez family and the TrustedHouseSitter platform for making this remarkable experience possible.
We had the most wonderful time in Redon looking after Julie-Ann and Bob's beautiful dog RT. Spent a week bonding with RT whilst relaxing in their lovely house and enjoying the sunshine. We have made friends for life, we feel. X
