Had a wonderful time with Loli, Junior and Akio, they were super sweet and had charming and very individual personalities. Loli was very cuddly, talkative and had a lot to say, Akio was very shy but that made gaining her trust and actually be allowed to pet her all the more rewarding and Junior was very playful and always peckish! Endija had prepared everything so the raw feeding was a smooth ride. Staying in her home was an absolute treat.

Hurricane Ian arrived two days before the first day of the sit, so sadly, the circumstances prevented the homeowner from her planned travel and also prevented us from arriving in Ft Myers. Even without power or cell service, we were able to connect with Dawn just to be sure she and the pets were safe.

We'd still love to sit for Dawn someday and hope that Ft Myers is able to make a quick recovery ❤️

Baxter is the sweetest companion. He was so easy to get along with and has such a playful spirit. I really enjoyed his company during my short stay.

The apartment is modern and spacious, located in a central pet of town. Easy to walk into the historic city center, but also a short walk to a number of charming neighborhoods.

Overall, a lovely experience with Baxter in a charming location.

I was glad to be able to meet up and chat with Chris and Bobby before the sit. Chris was very kind and hospitable, treating me to lunch in Keswick on the day we met and leaving me a variety of enjoyable food to eat. I enjoyed staying in her clean, comfortable, easy to clean flat, with a great view of Fitz Park. I was given clear (written and verbal) information on caring for Bobby and the flat and Chris was was easy to get in touch with when I had any questions.

I found Bobby a very sweet, friendly dog. Chris told me he usually sleeps on the (double) bed and it was lovely being snuggled up with him. Bobby stays in his crate when alone in the flat (and would have overnight if not sleeping on the bed). He enjoys playing with his toys and eating the nutritious treats stocked in for him.

A big part of Bobby's life, which was therefore a significant part of the sit, is the dog club. Bobby is used to joining other dogs and their owners in the park on all/most mornings between 10 and 11 a.m. It was obvious how much he loves playing with other dogs, including another border terrier who lives in a flat upstairs from him. This sit was different to the previous ones I'd done in how much contact there was with people from the local community throughout the stay. The people (and dogs) attending very much included me in the group, as well as helping me to keep Bobby safe when off lead there. I was even given the occasional invitation to meet up in the afternoon with dog club members and a couple of people were often interested to ask what I had done the previous afternoon.

I took Bobby to another park one morning, for a change, and although he seemed to enjoy Hope Park, the next day, he made it clear he wanted to go to the dog club again! He is able to travel on public transport (as well as by car) and Chris told me he enjoys being taken to new places out of Keswick as well.

Chris kindly drove me to Penrith so I could get a train home more easily on her return.

I can certainly recommend this sit for Chris' hospitality, her very pleasant flat in the beautiful Lake District, the friendliness of the dog club and particularly, the chance to spend time with the lovely, sweet Bobby.

Highly recommended.
Claire and her family were most welcoming, hosting me the night prior to the sit and showing me around the property. The home is located a short walk from the historic centre which is beautifully cared for. The kitty kats are easy to care for and typically independent between meals. The puppas are delightful, they will show you around the town and tow you up the hills. The general location is scenic and beautiful.

This was a very special housesit. It was like a retreat! So peaceful and relaxing.

Django is an adorable cat and we loved spending time with him. He was very easy to look after and very affectionate.

Mary’s home is beautiful and comfortable and in a great location. Lewes is lovely place to visit. We really felt at home.

Mary is a very kind, friendly and hospitable host. We really enjoyed spending time with her during the handover. She made us so welcome and was very easy to communicate with before, during and after the sit.

We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches and loved the Christmas gifts.

This was our second sit in Lewes with Django and we would be delighted to return.

Many thanks Mary xx
