Lovely development in Swannanoa with mountain views. Shayn was easy to care for and great company. He is a very sweet and loving pup. We enjoyed some nice hikes/walks right from the community property with great access to an abundance of trails. I appreciated the opportunity to arrive a day early to meet Harriet and Richard and go over details of Shayn’s care and routines. Enjoyed my time there with Shayn and hope to stay again sometime.
Kelly and Brian were the best pet parents we could have asked for! Frankie and Jack (who I nicknamed Jack-Jack) were the most adorable and loving cats. Their house was just like the pictures, was extremely quiet, and surrounded by such beautiful nature. I cannot wait to return.
It was a pleasure to look after Charlie and the fishes! Charlie is super sweet and intelligent and energetic and loves to play with her ball or whatever other toy is available. :D Communication with Henry went very smoothly. Rowan provided me with the feeding schedule for the fish and Sarah showed me everything I needed to know around the house and for watering the garden so I had everything I needed when I started my sit! The house is located in a great area, there's a bus stop right in front of the house, the supermarket is not far and there are some good restaurants around. The forest as well as the river are only a short walk away and Charlie loved going to both (be advised that the walk up to the forest is quite steep but you can also take the bus, which is very convenient). The garden in front of the house proved a great place to sit and for Charlie to roam around (especially on rainy days when she didn't want to take a long walk). An additional bonus is that the ground level of the house stayed cool even during the heatwave this summer, which was very pleasant. All in all this was a great experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I definitely recommend this sit.
Becki is a bright, interesting and lovely person. Very easy to communicate with, and fun to chat with just like her ferret girls. It was my first experience with ferrets and to be honest I was unsure at the beginning how to interact with them, but after a day or two I found them very amusing and adorable. They are comical, animate, lovable creatures! Becki’s apartment is so cosy both for humans and ferrets. It was a lovely experience for me as a whole.
This was a fantastic sit, highly recommended. Moggele is a sweet, affectionate boy and very easy to care for. The home was very clean & comfortable in a neighbourhood with all necessities within a 2-3 minute walk. Very walkable to the centre, (15 minutes) or a short 4 stop bus ride. Marianne & Hans-Rudolf are very kind and welcoming. Thank you for having me and would happily sit for you again!
Charlie and Minou are gorgeous, both have lovely sweet natures and a pleasure to look after. Charlie warmed to us straight away and was excited to have us to stay! Christie is lovely and made us feel very welcome. She provided clear instructions and a beautiful clean comfy home for us to stay in. The neighboured is great too, lots of nice places to eat and drink, and feels safe. Would love to come back ☺️
