Darlene and Murray were absolutely wonderful! They provided me with absolutely everything I needed wether it was the use of Murray's truck, food in the house, extra cash if anything unexpected came up, and detailed printed out instructions on what to do in every situation. I spent a day with Murray and he walked me through absolutely everything, I needed to know, showed me where everything was, and told me I was more than welcome to any food in the refrigerator, freezer, and beer or wine in the bar. Spending the day with Darlene and Murray before their departure also gave me a chance to meet their cats and dogs and for them to get familiar with me. They have a circle of friends and the evening before they left, Darlene arranged a dinner for me to meet all their friends, just in case anything happened or I need help in any situation. This gave me huge peace of mind and her friends were wonderful and went out of their way in making me feel at home. They were all wonderful people. It was a fantastic experience. I had absolutely no issues thanks to the diligence of Darlene and Murray. They are sweet people who provided me anything and everything I needed. I would sit for them again in a heartbeat.
Bill and Teresa have a lovely home with a gorgeous view of the Catalina mountains. It was a lovely house sitting engagement. Nellie was an excellent walking and yoga partner, and a joy to watch. Bill created a thorough welcome guide that included many helpful tips regarding local attractions. I would definitely consider returning to Bill and Teresa's home for another house sitting engagement in the future.
Wonderful country house location where you feel so welcome by lovely kind owner. Peaceful location with the most wonderful Border terrier who is loving and very loved, a wonderful little man. Ideal country lovers stay, beautiful views, highly recommended.
Christina was an excellent host and Betty is a sweetheart. Christina communicated my responsibilities clearly and was always available if I needed anything either before or during my sit. She even suggested awesome places to go in Ottawa and generously left me welcome gifts. Betty loves her walks and routine, and is great company. The location was also perfect, central and close to everything on foot. Very hospitable family.. I would definitely recommend sitting for Betty!
Gordon and Twix were such a pleasure to be around! Gordon's home was wildly lovely, comfortable, and peaceful. Twix was by far one of the most laid-back and easy dogs to care for! All she desires is your company, petting, and of course- walks! She even likes to take a jog or a hike with you! She's so well-behaved in car rides as well as when she meets other dogs and humans. Gordon showed me all that was needed to be done and we kept in touch the entire time he was away and I was sitting- he was very prompt with communication. I would absolutely house sit Twix again!
Ani did a fabulous job of conveying her expectations in her book and was available on what's app throughout as she was across the world. I enjoyed each personality of the cats and will miss them all. I would happily do a future sit!
