Amy’s Denver home is in a perfect location, and the backyard was a lovely place to enjoy summer evenings in Colorado. Would not hesitate to recommend this sit to others!
John and Fenella are wonderful people, and Mango is a friendly and easy to care for cat. We really appreciated the time John and Fenella spent acquainting us with the area, the lovely welcome dinner, and fresh baked loaf of bread. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, and stones throw to the coastal trail. In the home you have complete privacy while only being a short walk to a shopping street. All in all a most enjoyable house sit.
I recently completed a lovely housesit for Clare and Fred and their adorable cat Mew-mew. I was warmly welcome by them and Fred showed me around their apartment complex and neighbourhood which is in an excellent area close to all amenities. I was completely smittened by Mew-new, who was a little shy at first but quickly warmed up after one day...and after that we were the best of friends and we enjoyed many cuddles. This was a lovely, easy housesit and I would definitely recommend it!
A really wonderful experience. Susan was so welcoming, generous, and kind. She made me feel really at ease and at home. Sunny is LOVELY. Truly the cutest, sweetest dog ever. I miss her so much already and hope I have the opportunity to take care of her again soon. Would recommend 10/10 😊
We had a lovely time caring for Rodney while Carrie was on holiday. There was a warm welcome on arrival and we were shown around Carrie's quiet and comfortable home and introduced to Rodney's habits and routines. It was particularly nice to take Rodney for one of his local walks around a nature reserve with Carrie before she went. This gave us a good feel for the area and the local amenities and where it was useful to discover a range of shops and takeaways just around the corner from Carrie's home. Rodney is a fantastic dog to care for. He's affectionate and well behaved and loves his walks - especially those that enable him to drag you into shops where he is well known and loved by locals who invariably give him treats. In all we had a very enjoyable time exploring the city of Durham and the surrounding area including the coast in the company of Rodney and we'd be more than happy to do it all again. Moreover we'd warmly recommend Carrie and Rodney to any prospective sitter.
From the initial FaceTime with Lara and Andy to the end of our stay the communication was brilliant and they are both so friendly and kind. Lara gave a detailed welcome pack about Hobnob, her home and even gave some local recommendations for Brighton and the surrounding areas, which was so helpful. We felt so welcome from the moment we met Lara and Andy. On the day we arrived, Lara very kindly gave us a lift to and from Brighton, which we were so grateful for. Not only this, but Lara made us a delicious meal, gave us a tour of her home and we felt so comfortable. It was great to get to know Lara and Andy, they are a lovely, chatty and warm couple who couldn’t do enough for us! Lara even wrote a lovely card and left us a few goodies too! Hobnob is such a loving dog who filled us with utter joy. He was a pleasure to look after, always so happy and was loved nothing more than fuss and cuddles. He is such a smart boy and kept us entertained when playing lots of games with him in the house. He was so well behaved and was confident in knowing lots of commands, which was helpful when taking him on walks. We miss him so much already and the happiness he brought to our day whilst we stayed in Lara and Andy’s home. We would recommend this sit in a heartbeat!

I first started to use Lori's service about 3 years ago. She was highly recommended because she is very skilled at what she does. She has been caring for my 2 dogs and 1 cat and based off her many years of being a VET Tech she really knows how to care for their special needs, as they both require medications to be administered. I would highly recommend her, and I appreciated her services just as much as my pets, as she has become a friend to them and not just a pet sitter.
I last used Lori’s services in June of 2021. I was pleased with her service and let her keep a copy of the key to our apartment for future use. When I knew we would need pet sitting services this year, I began to reach out. - 10/28 called and let a voicemail - 11/18 left a message through her website - 11/21 sent her a text in the morning - 11/21 sent her an email in the evening - 12/5 placed two calls to her number without an answer. Is she still in business? I have no idea. If she is, she isn’t doing a great job responding to (a repeat) client. Thanks to her, I am going to be out $50 to replace the key she still has. Don’t recommend her services.
We were so fortunate to have found Lori Rae last year. We met her last summer and she immediately impressed us with her effortless way with animals, good aura, and positive attitude. She mentioned how she likes pets more than most people and we couldn’t agree more! She always sends texts and photos of the cats with a little update. Lori Rae is very respectful of the level of interaction you need/want. She also goes above and beyond with other petsitting plusses such as mail retrieval, watering plants etc. Her prices are very reasonable considering she spends a minimum of 40 minutes with the pets. As an added benefit she has been a veterinary technician since 1995. Her expertise and hands on experience caring for animals gives me great peace of mind while we are away. I know the cats enjoy her visits and are happy we have found a fun, trustworthy, and responsible pet sitter! I would recommend her to anyone in the Howard County area seeking excellent pet sitting services.
We adore Lori Rae! She is dependable, competent, and so very caring about our dog, (and us!) She has cared regularly for our girl, on short notice, and also for extended periods - whatever we've needed. She has made it to our house in all weather - heavy snow, etc., helped us socialize our rescue girl, and provided care when our dog had medical issues. I trust her completely, and recommend her without reservation!
