Laura and her family were wonderful sitters. She was very communicative and we could leave our Toby without even meeting her! She kept in contact the entire time we were away. The house was clean when we came home- despite the fact that she has 3-year-old twins and a 9-year-old! Toby was well cared for and happy when we arrived home.
Michelle communicated clearly and well. We felt very comfortable with her and felt welcomed. Seven was the sweetest pup and was great to spend time with. She does have problems with occasional aggression towards other dogs, a fact that was explicitly stated upfront. But this was not really a problem if managed as we were instructed to do. Roosevelt Island is easily reachable being just a couple of subway stops from the southeast corner the Central Park.

Exceptional sit in every way. Sonja and Simon are now 2 of my favourite people. And Stevie is one amazing cat. I can't wait to go over and hear all about their trip. And then to go back later in the year to sit again. I could write an essay about how much I enjoyed this sit! Really nice house, great neighbours, good location, and of course, Stevie the wonder cat. Independent and snuggly, playful and funny, with a great character. Miss him already.
I absolutely loved taking care of Douglas and Ellie. They both have the loveliest temperaments and were just a total joy to spend time with. Douglas is lively and fun and loves chasing pebbles in the sea. Ellie has a very sweet and gentle nature and once she’s warmed up to you, she’ll snuggle in and be affectionate with you. I felt so at home in Donna’s place and she really went out of her way to make me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Donna is kind, warm-hearted and very easy to get on with. All in all, I absolutely loved this experience and I’d love to return if Donna were to ever need pet care again. Highly recommended!
This was a very enjoyable housesit. Susanna and Mike have lovely pets. Scrumpy and Tiggy are adorable and well behaved dogs. They loved their walks and playing in the garden. The two Persian cats Simba and BB are very friendly cats and we loved spending our evenings with them sat on our laps along with Scrumpy and Tiggy. Another bonus was Billy and Bertie the two Donkeys. They were great to look after. Susanna and Mike were very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay in their beautiful home.
Kaelee was an awesome host who made sure to communicate their needs and explain everything clearly. They had videos for everything and even left a bike for me to use to get to the beach. Buddy and Cheryl are the coolest cats to take care of. After a little bit of warming up and a little bit more for Cheryl, they both love to hang out with you for pets and playtime. Buddy is like a dog in a cat's body, sticking by your side no matter what you're up to. Plus, he even fetches if you throw the right toy! I had a blast taking care of these two, especially with all the convenient setup Kaelee has in place. They have auto feeders and a litter robot to make things easy. Halfmoon bay is also a great spot for outdoorsy folks and has miles of coastal trails with great views. I would totally recommend this pet-sitting gig to anyone looking to visit the area. It's a fantastic spot!
