We had Lori and Matt taking care of our cats Lili and Orion for a week. Everything went perfect from the very beginning. Communication was easy and respectful. I loved how organized with all matters Lori was and I appreciated how considerate they were about all house arrangements, for example, she asked me about sleeping arrangements and took nothing for granted 💛 They sent photos of both cats everyday, we loved it! The house was left impecable. Lori and Matt you are welcome any time in the future again, thank you!! Lina - Orion & Lili
We were extremely pleased with the pet and house sit by Angela. Prior to the sit we talked and then met to exchange keys. She immediately established a rapport with each of our three animals. They were well fed and cared for. Angela sent us updates and/or pictures almost everyday, and in the first few days clarified or asked about issues that came up. She was so considerate of their needs she even got soothing pads for our dogs itchy skin, and a laser pointer for him to chase for fun. She worked her magic on our finnicky cats so they were content. The house was clean and all the little chores done so we came home to fresh milk and little work. We would recommend her (email us - we are happy to talk) highly and are already planning another trip when we might be able to use her again.
Riley was a great cat to sit for. He has his own ways of doing things, but he was always around the house. The house itself was very nice and Carla was an excellent communicator.
We had a wonderful time looking after Rio in Golden! Rio is a smiley pup who is a joy to take for walks, hang out and play with. Tealia and Graeme are so friendly and welcomed us warmly to their beautiful home which is open to views of the surrounding mountains. A perfect base for exploring the area with a joyful canine companion, highly recommend!!
We couldn't have asked for more welcoming hosts than the Waller family, nor a more comfortable, beautiful, and historically interesting home for our stay in the postcard perfect village of Shorne. Mike and Clare provided a clear and thorough welcome guide and printed instructions, and between them, their family, and neighbors we had many people to ask any questions and get suggestions on local places to visit. The area itself is lovely and offers quiet walks in the woods and fields, an historic church and pub and a helpful village shop. The towns of Rochester and Gravesend are both a short bus ride away and worth a visit, too. Their beautiful garden is a peaceful oasis, and the chickens gave us fresh eggs every day. We really enjoyed the cats Lily (the Diva) and Tommy (the Cuddler), and miss sharing our mornings in the sunny kitchen with them. If you get the opportunity to sit for Mike and Clare, take it - you'll have a lovely, memorable stay and meet a warm and welcoming family.
This is a brilliant housesit, thanks to the humans, the Fluffball and the location! First things first - Fluffball is great! She spends most of her time outdoors and is easy and fun to look after. On the first day she seemed a little wary of having someone new around, but quickly she switched to purring mode, and was certainly very appreciative of her food! She enjoyed being stroked and brushed and is wonderfully soft - the name doesn't lie! All communication with Katie was absolutely perfect and it was a pleasure to get to know her. She explained everything I needed when we spoke online and had all the information printed and ready at the house as well. The maps and directions were especially helpful! We kept in touch during the sit although I didn't really have any big questions as everything was clear from the start. Finally, the house is bright, clean and very spacious, and the garden is a real treat. The area is very peaceful and pleasant and close to bus stops and local shops as well as walking distance to the station. It was an amazingly sunny weekend so my memories of Cambridge will definitely be of punters under blue skies! And then back to spend the evening with Fluffball : ) Thank you and all the best to Katie, John and Fluffball!
We loved our stay at Colin’s and Teri’s home. They are very friendly, hospitable and generous people! We fell in love with Hannah 🐶 and Lucy 🐱. They are both so adorable and very well behaved! Going for walks with Hannah was a lot of fun and very easy, since she gets along with other dogs so well. Would totally recommend coming to Sooke to look after Hannah and Lucy! Thank you so much again for everything! We miss your pets already! 😍 They really touched our hearts!
Beautiful space & Lupe is so gentle, sweet and easy to care for !!
