We have used Puppy Love to provide our dog. It’s afternoon walks for the past 15 years. The owner Josh is very attentive to the needs of the animals and their owners. And the dog walkers are truly animal-loving people who seem to enjoy their work, even in the most miserable weather. There is not one time over the past 15 years that we thought of switching dog walking services.
I have been using Puppy Love since 2003. Josh has taken care of generations of my dogs and cats. I would never trust my pets with any other service. Puppy Love is the best!

Pierre is awesome. I moved to DC from NYC at the beginning of this year and was extremely picky about who I’d let walk my dog after a dog walker in NYC completely dismantled his training. Pierre is SUCH a great handler with Albie and ensures he behaves himself on every walk. I get a picture and a map of their route everyday along with notes which I absolutely love - cannot recommend highly enough!
Pierre is excellent! He is incredibly attentive and wonderful with our dog, who loves his daily walks with Pierre and the other dogs in his walking group. Pierre also is very responsive, professional, and reliable, and his services are excellent. He is timely and thorough. For example, he sends you a photo and map of his walks with your dog along with short summary of the walk. We know our dog is in great hands with Pierre!

Our pit bull mix Albie LOVES his pack walks with Pierre! Pierre is incredibly responsive, super sweet with Albie, and very reliable. We love that we get a GPS route screenshot, walk summary (including if he pooped or peed), plus a photo, with every walk. We are so happy we found Pierre!

Josh, the owner, is very professional and based upon my experiences with our mid-day walker, Jodi, only works with the very best. I was very impressed at the speed at which I was contacted after making my first online inquiry into the services offered, not to mention how accommodating Josh was in scheduling a meeting time with me and my dogs that very same day. Our walker, Jodi, is absolutely fantastic and gives the dogs all of the love, attention, and exercise that they need mid-day. Josh has been great to work w and highly recommend him for dog walks. He’s very responsive and has a really sound operation running - the app he uses allows you to see exactly when he gets to your house, the route of the walk and when he finishes, then leaves a short review. I’ve really appreciate working w Josh, esp since he’s looked after our pup w care (he let us know when he was sick and even cleaned up after him) and is v flexible w changes (within reason). I've used Pooch Pals for several years and have had great service, including week-long stays at our house when we're out of town. Our two dogs are crazy about Josh and Jodi. One of our dogs tends to be aggressive; Josh is great with him and commands respect while still being gentle.

Josh gave us training lessons to practice with our 18 month old puppy. He did a great job demonstrating the intention of commands, explaining the perspective of our dog, and illustrating the positive outcomes. After just a couple lessons, our relationship with our dog improved greatly. Our dog could wait while we greet people, stay back from the table during dinner, and relax around his crate (he’s a crate-traumatized rescue). We also learned a lot from Josh about how to walk our dog so that everyone enjoys the walk (rather our dog tugging and pulling the entire way!). Josh was able to provide the lessons at days/times that met our busy schedule and did so in a friendly, approachable manner. He was happy to take questions and gave additional suggestions for further training to improve recall and social interactions with our dog. Even though we previously had a family dog, we learned A LOT about dogs from Josh, that makes living with our dog and interacting with other dogs so much better. Highly recommend!

They helped save my dog's life tonight- if they hadn't responded to my text as quickly as they did, I would've spent and wasted precious time looking for an animal hospital (I'm not from DC), but instead, I was able to bring my girl to a trusted facility, and quickly. A very sweet couple who truly love dogs out of compassion and love! They saved my large Doberman who was not a client nor knew him at all. I will be using their services in the future when needed because they are truly good people!
Puppy Luv is reliable - they are here when they say they will be here, they seem to be true animal lovers and my dog enjoys his walks. I love all the feedback and pictures that they provide from each visit, so I always know how it went.

The smiles on these guys say it all. It wasn't easy finding the 'right' one, it never is. However, our search led us to Puppy Luv Pet Services and we couldn't be happier. It's hard to leave your loved one in the hands of strangers, but that was far from the case with Puppy Luv. They are like family to us and I am more than confident that our baby (Left-photo) is in the best possible care when she goes for daily her walks, gets her wash, mani and pedi.
