Larry was a wonderful house- and pet- sitter! He was very personable and both dogs took to him immediately. (There's no question that dogs know good people!) He communicated with us every step of the way - a couple of weeks before, a few days before, during his stay and even afterward! There were a few tasks around the household that he graciously handled for us as well as taking exceptional good care of our fur babies. (Even the high energy one that goes-goes-goes from morning to night!) There's no question that it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship! My husband and I would both HIGHLY RECOMMEND Larry!
Verna was very responsive, responsible, and reliable. She took care of my home as if it were hers and left it neat and tidy. She provided updates with my dogs daily and left me traveling with peace of mind. Walked the dogs very frequently and even made sure that they were received a LOT of attention. She was also very flexible and had superb communication. Although I was her first zeewoi experience, she left a thorough detailed introduction along with references which was very reassuring! I would definitely have her come look after my pups and home if she ever does visit my town again!
Absolutely amazing house/pup/catsit experience! There's not enough typing space - everything was so wonderful. Tio is a sweetie angel with tons of energy and love to give; Lupine was basically my colleague and sat on my lap during zoom calls; and even Remi grew to give me a collegial purr every now and again. Also, the house is amazing - tons of light and outdoor space right in the Mission district. Kelli and fam were excellent hosts and so helpful before and during my stay. A+ experience!

We have used Puppy Love to provide our dog. It’s afternoon walks for the past 15 years. The owner Josh is very attentive to the needs of the animals and their owners. And the dog walkers are truly animal-loving people who seem to enjoy their work, even in the most miserable weather. There is not one time over the past 15 years that we thought of switching dog walking services.
I have been using Puppy Love since 2003. Josh has taken care of generations of my dogs and cats. I would never trust my pets with any other service. Puppy Love is the best!

Pierre is awesome. I moved to DC from NYC at the beginning of this year and was extremely picky about who I’d let walk my dog after a dog walker in NYC completely dismantled his training. Pierre is SUCH a great handler with Albie and ensures he behaves himself on every walk. I get a picture and a map of their route everyday along with notes which I absolutely love - cannot recommend highly enough!
Pierre is excellent! He is incredibly attentive and wonderful with our dog, who loves his daily walks with Pierre and the other dogs in his walking group. Josh has been great to work w and highly recommend him for dog walks. Josh gave us training lessons to practice with our 18 month old puppy. He did a great job demonstrating the intention of commands, explaining the perspective of our dog, and illustrating the positive outcomes. After just a couple lessons, our relationship with our dog improved greatly. Our dog could wait while we greet people, stay back from the table during dinner, and relax around his crate (he’s a crate-traumatized rescue). We also learned a lot from Josh about how to walk our dog so that everyone enjoys the walk (rather our dog tugging and pulling the entire way!). Josh was able to provide the lessons at days/times that met our busy schedule and did so in a friendly, approachable manner. He was happy to take questions and gave additional suggestions for further training to improve recall and social interactions with our dog. Even though we previously had a family dog, we learned A LOT about dogs from Josh, that makes living with our dog and interacting with other dogs so much better. Highly recommend!

Puppy Luv is reliable - they are here when they say they will be here, they seem to be true animal lovers and my dog enjoys his walks. I love all the feedback and pictures that they provide from each visit, so I always know how it went.
