Michael could not come due to covid on our side and therefore our trip was canceled. However, he was a fantastic communicator and I would have been happy leaving my dogs in his care.
Yvonne deserves more than 5 stars! Not only is she professional, communicative, kind, and thoughtful... she is also a true animal person. Our two kitties, Peanut and Porter seemed to LOVE her -- as we could clearly see from the sweet, snuggly photos she snapped and sent us daily. [We even started to get a little jealous about how much they seemed to bond with her!! hehe ] We could tell that she not only attended to their needs, but also noticed their quirks and personalities and really connected with them. There is nothing better than hearing from your sitter how special YOUR cat is ... and why! Haha She seemed to have a calming presence around the cats too. Sometimes, when we return from a trip we can tell our cats are a bit on edge and not 100% relaxed, and have a bit of that dramatic cat resentment of ‘how could you leave me!’…but that was not the case after Yvonne's sit. They seemed as happy, cuddly and curious as if we had just left for the afternoon, and not a whole week. Messaging with Yvonne about our cats & logistics was not only smooth sailing, but honestly, really fun! She's a great photographer and every day I’d look forward to what photos she would send of our babies and hear what funny antics they had performed for her. In addition to her stellar cat care, she was flexible on dates and time of arrival, was very communicative and prompt, left the place spotless, was self-sufficient and looked after our 50+ plants. Needless to say, we would be delighted if she wanted to sit for us again, and would welcome her back anytime. If you're lucky enough to have her apply for your listing, booking her would be an A+ choice — for you and your fur babies!
