House and pet sitting for Susie was fabulous. Susie is a delightful host. She made me feel right at home and I settled in very quickly and easily. Mossi is an adorable, friendly, lovable and very well trained dog. He was a great companion and a delight to look after. I highly recommend Susie and Mossi to prospective sitters.
Well, we have just spent a wonderful two weeks looking after Baggie and Baloo and it was fantastic fun. The dogs are characters, well behaved on walks and generally great fun and easy to look after. They know the rules and abide to them ..... usually. It was a pleasure to be in their company. The rabbits are free range and do their own thing out in the garden so all we got was an occasional glimpse of them. Judy and her family were very welcoming and a very social bunch. The house is old, large and easily to get lost in to begin with but very comfortable. Our bedroom was huge with a four poster bed and there was a number of comfie couches to choose from for a quiet read and a cuddle with a dog or dogs. The kitchen was well equipped, we spent most of our time in this wonderful room. The garden and orchard was a good place to wander around. The area is great for walking and visiting all the historic sites around Salisbury. There is a huge Tesco, Sainsbury and Waitrose within six miles and lots of little country pubs for good food. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Baggsie and Baloo and would return in the wink of an eye. I would highly recommend this sit to anyone who loves active dogs, enjoys the outdoor life and wants to explore some of rural Wiltshire.
Carey is one the most welcoming, pleasant and generous people that I have met! She has a beautiful, clean and comfortable home. The back yard is stunning with multiple places to sit and enjoy the view of the pond and the wildlife it hosts. Her outdoor cats, Skitty and Muffy, were sweet cats and so easy to care for. They liked being brushed, and sometimes would come rub my leg as I worked on the laptop at one of the outdoor tables. I got to meet Lucky, the parrot, before she went to grandma's for the week and she displayed her plumage for me and flirted. There are so many fun things to do in Winter Park from outdoor adventures & scenic boat rides to restaurants & shops, but Carey’s house was so nice that I stayed there with the cats most of the time. Easy neighborhood walks from the house, and if you like to swim, there is a nice YMCA 5 minutes away! I would love to pet-sit for Carey again and I highly recommend it!
Emma is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Emma's dogs are the nicest dogs ever, those teddybears 😘🥰. I am quite happy that I met Emma and our paths crossed 🤍. Emma offered me a lift to Aberdeen where I have something last-minute I need to do and also another one back without request, this is quite appreciated. I enjoyed my stay tremendously with Dexter and Wouster. They got super excited when meeting new people. Wouster is well-behaved and Dexter too but the latter is more excited and always ready to wander and discover. The dogs in Forfar are friends and usually don't park against each other. Both Dexter and Wouster love human company and would stay with you laying down rather than sniffing in the garden. They stay closer to the sunroom door when I let them out in the garden to see me while I am working inside on my laptop, while they defend the house/garden. I took videos for them as I know I will miss them and their company. Emma made sure I had enough food and was well-stocked, too. Emma recommended trying Bridie (Forfar food) and it is yummy😋. This is a quiet and relaxing rural Scottish cottage 💫 with a lovely modern and cosy house. I wish Emma a peaceful and enjoyable life.
This housesit was delightful--the beautiful, comfortable, historic home, with 2 very sweet cats, in a charming tiny town. There were pleasant walks to take in the neighborhood and along the river, and Alana had an inflatable kayak and bicycles available for use. It's a very pleasant base to explore the eastern shore. Alana was very responsive if a question ever arose.
Honey is a dream dog to sit for! She is a sweet beauty, loves attention and is content with her own company. Denise and Ed have a beautiful home. They are kind and communicative. This is a great pet sit🐾💕🐾
