Pet Sitters in Godmanchester

Lisa and Tom were outstanding sitters! We spoke briefly before the sit and they kindly arrived in good time for us to leave on our travels and we had the opportunity to get to know them and share further details about Bellamy and our home. Communication was easy and they provided regular updates whilst we were away. Bellamy clearly loved their company and enjoyed sitting on Tom's lap in the evenings. Unfortunately, whilst we were away Lisa discovered that Bellamy had brought a few fleas into the house from the garden (he does love to hide under the cabin on dry days!) but Lisa was quickly onto it and gave him a treatment very promptly, for which we were really grateful. Having had an older cat of their own, they were fully understanding of his needs and even encouraged him out into the garden a few times for a change of scene when he was feeling especially lazy! Like many older cats he can spend 23.5 hours a day curled up asleep! We returned home to an immaculate house, the bedding was clean, there were flowers in the kitchen and a wonderful home cooked meal waiting. These were lovely surprises to receive, especially after a long journey. Lisa had also planted a few seeds for our garden, and we can't wait to see how they turn out. We would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa and Tom for other sits and would welcome them back here at any time. They are wonderfully kind, thoughtful and caring.

Catherine joined us for a weekend sit whilst we attended a family event. On the morning we were due to leave Bertie was very poorly and I had to take him to the vet. He had medication and we were told he needed watching closely and the vet was to be contacted if he became ill again. Catherine was calm, reassuring and willing to take responsibility and call us back home, if needed. We were able to relax in the knowledge that Bertie had the best possible care and we could trust Catherine’s judgment. All ended well and Bertie bounced back. A huge thank you to Catherine.

Ed was absolutely fantastic. He took amazing care of Ragu, our kitten, for 5 weeks while we were visiting family abroad. He shared consistent updates/pictures and kept our home in immaculate condition. He even shared valuable tips about Ragu when we came back, which really helped us transition back in. We would definitely have him stay at ours again, 10/10 would recommend him to take care of your pet & home!

Susan was a great sitter, arrived on time, good communication both before and during the sit. Cocoa took to her straightaway and she was given lots of attention and cuddles while we were away. Came home to a very clean and tidy house. I would highly recommend Susan as a sitter and hope one day she will sit for us again.

Abigail and James are brilliant housesitters. Really reliable, friendly and highly efficient. Our house was very tidy when we returned and the dogs, well they LOVED them.

We were so happy Gigi settled so well with Aimee, I think they both had a lovely time! We'd recommend Aimee anytime and hope to see her again soon.

We really cannot praise Winnie enough. She really looked after our two girls (cats) as if they were her own, keeping us posted with updates and photos on Whatsapp throughout our trip away. She came to us the day before we left so we had plenty of time to show her around the house and local area as well as to answer any questions she had. In fact we had a really nice evening. I know everyone says this about their sitter but the house really was cleaner on our return than we had left it with aboslutely nothing for us to do. Even the bedclothes were washed and dried. All in all we cannot recommend Winnie more highly and we have most likely made a new friend as well

Liz and Rob were fantastic sitters, we zoomed before they came and Liz asked lots of questions and gave us lots of information about them and their previous sits. We communicated before they arrived and they left really early to get to us as we also had a long drive. The dogs took to them straight away, they were calm and not upset at us leaving at all! Liz and Rob looked after 5 lambs, my chickens and new chicks, Liz was able to give me some great advice being an ex veterinary nurse. The animals and house had obviously been well looked after, they left us some plants and a lovely card as thanks and Liz had even cooked us a scrumptious veg curry. I would thoroughly recommend them as housesitters and would love to ask them back.

It was a pleasure to meet Mandy and her lovely family . They cared very well for our pet dog . Took care of the house and garden and fed the fish . We hope they enjoyed the Easter holidays in Sussex . We would like to recommend them to anyone else looking for a house sitter . We felt very happy on holiday knowing our family dog was well cared for .

Tony was a very good choice for our dog Pirate. Pirate was a little anxious about us leaving and wasn’t really nice to Tony for the first couple of hours, but Tony is the type of person that is patient and kind and engaged Pirate and one him over! He even played soccer with Pirate. That was all it took for Pirate to adore him. He was even sad when he left. I highly recommend Tony for a house sit!

Thank you to John and Anna who took great care of our home and girls. John and Anna even stayed an extra night to fit around our plans which was greatly appreciated. They are both very clearly experienced with dogs and just got on with looking after the dogs. The communication was great and I would 100 % recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much to you both x

Jess sat for us over a weekend. Loki was very relaxed with her and we came home to a very chilled doggie. The house was clean and tidy. Jess was reliable throughout the whole process and seemed very happy to be able to dog sit for others. She sent lots of photos and maintained good communication throughout. I would definitely recommend Jess.
