Illia exceeded all expectations. If you are lucky enough to book him, do it! Our dog got an infection and Illia went above and beyond in both addressing the issue and in his communication with us. The house and yard were in excellent condition. Possibly cleaner than we left it! Illia provided photos of our dog that made us feel so happy to see him flourishing. Illia's girl friend Viktoria was also great. They are a terrific team. I cannot recommend them highly enough! I am happy to talk privately with anyone who wants more information.
Another great sit from beginning to the end... It goes without saying that "les bonnes fées se sont penchées sur nos berceaux". In other words, we feel very lucky that Sarah and Johnny entrusted us with the care of their holiday home in Betpouy. The former farm house is very comfortable, it has been renovated and maintained with taste, intelligence and love. The view out of every window reminds you, that looking outside is not a classic oil painting, but a real life moment... There are different gorgeous outdoor areas for meals, a tranquil garden for relaxing and a few fruit trees that are fun to harvest. The use of the swimming pool (heated) and the bicycles (electric, to do sport effortlessly!) are the cherry on the cake. Next to the property itself, one of the highlights of the stay are the walking trails and cycle rides in the vicinity, with views of fields and mountains that scream "Pyrénées"... Then the bustling producers markets, almost every day in another village, that are easy to get to by bicycle. Last but not least, incredible historical places not far away by car, well worth a visit. We would absolutely love to sit for Sarah & Johnny again and highly recommend this sit for others.
What an incredible place. On a hill looking down on the Kyle. An idealic highland setting. Just a mile away from a small village and literally next door to forest walks and routes of varying degrees. The dogs are fun and will have you trained in no time. The house is a large art gallery with plenty of sunlight and something different in every room. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay. Hope to return one day.
For 3 weeks I enjoyed the company of Marimo. Marimo is shy in the beginning but opens up after a few days. She likes to play a lot, have lots of attention and cuddles. She also likes to climb and jump. Marimo usually slept on the bed with me, and sometimes, after waking me up at 05:00, crawled under the blanket, curling her self up, loudly purring. By meowing she will let you know she wants something. I will miss Marimo a lot and would certainly love to see her again. A Tesco is a few minutes walk from the apartment. Battersea Park station is a 6 minutes walk.
Lyz was very easy to communicate with about all aspects of the sit. I so enjoyed spending time with lovely Buca and the area is ideal for dog walking which was brilliant. The flat is very comfortable and well equipped. 10/10 all round!
I had the best time house and pet sitting for Christine! The Pet: Luna was the most amazing black lab. She's super easy-going, gentle, and adorable. The Home: Christine's home is gorgeous. It was fully equipped for a wonderful trip to Kelowna. The Neighborhood: Full of great walks, felt very safe the whole time. You'll get to see deer and lots of eagles. 10-minute drive to get downtown, and less than 5 minutes to go get a coffee or bite to eat. I would not hesitate to take the opportunity to hang out with miss Luna and enjoy Christine's home.
What an absolutely delightful experience caring for Pan and Tigress in their beautifully automated and lovingly maintained home! The moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into this warm and inviting space that had been so thoughtfully prepared for an easy pet-sitting stay. Laurel composed a fantastically detailed and tremendously organized welcome guide that made everything self-explanatory. The meticulously clean and stylishly decorated home instantly put us at ease. The thoughtful details like the self-watering plant bottles, automated cat feeder, Roomba vacuum, and pet door gave us peace of mind that Pan and Tigress could move freely while having their needs tended to effortlessly. The backyard's automatic lighting made facilitating Pan's evening outings a breeze. However, the true highlight was getting to know Pan and Tigress themselves. Despite their senior ages, this lovable pair have such endearing personalities. Pan, though a bit hard of hearing these days, melted our hearts with his gentle gazes and nudges for attention. Our quiet morning walks around the friendly neighborhood with him were a joy. His anxiety and arthritis require a medication routine, but the provided pill pockets and hot dogs transformed that into a delightful process. Tigress announced her arrival with passionate meows, soon revealing her cuddly, playful side. This self-sufficient feline remains low-maintenance while happily accepting lap snuggles. Providing her pill pockets alongside meals was simple. Observing her bird-like curiosity as she explored brought constant amusement. The home’s amenities such as the gym, bikes, trails and community pool gave us plenty to enjoy between caring for Pan and Tigress. Everything was exceptionally organized, with instructions so clear that we truly made ourselves at home. Our favorite moments, however, were basking in Pan and Tigress' calming presence and receiving the affection of these beloved family pets, whose owners entrusted their care to us. This warm, welcoming home and its animal ambassadors brought us immense joy. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
