I never met Chris and Geraldine sadly as our days overlapped but all went well meeting up with my friend who had my dog either side of their stay. Plans were well organised and they both seemed very reliable and nice. I was sent a photo of my dog and their dog lying happily in the kitchen together which was reassuring so that I could enjoy my holiday. All seemed to go well and my son turned up for a night and they were very welcoming and kind so I would definitely ask them back again should they want to come down this way again.
We (and Blaze) couldn't have been happier with Sandra and Peter. I want to book them for all our holidays to come. As we don't live in the same city and due to our itinerary change by a day, we didn't have the opportunity to meet them face to face. However, we face timed many times and were in touch regularly even before we left. For someone who is very private and has never had any housesitters before, I was quite nervous about the concept but once we met Sandra and Peter, they felt like old friends. They looked after Blaze and our house amazingly as if it was their own. (not to mention our garden, as we left in autumn and the blower became Peter's best friend (after Blaze). We received regular photo updates and messages. The house was spotless when we returned. They offered to await us with salad and some shopping which we thought was a very kind gesture. I could not recommend them highly enough and we hope that they can help us out in the future. :-)

We absolutely love Eden and Jess! I brought my puppy over for a meet and greet at the recommendation of our trainer. I was so impressed. Eden and Sierra Dogs Boarding & Training are the best! We have used them for both training and boarding experiences. Our doodle puppy, Vinnie, was a definite challenge for us to train. After four weeks under Eden's gentle loving care and training expertise, he became a wonderful well-trained pup. Vinnie has boarded with Eden several times since his training. We are comfortable knowing he is in a safe and caring environment. Most importantly, Vinnie loves being there!
Eden is amazing! She has known and worked with my dog, Nillie, since Nillie was about 6 months old. Nillie has come to Eden for two board and trains and different points in her adolescence, with the goal of working on helping her build skills with other dogs, be calm in the house, leash skills, etc. Eden is kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable, and Nillie came a very long way after her board and trains. Now, Nillie spends a few weeks a year with Eden as a boarding client. Eden is one of the few people I trust to leave Nillie with. Eden only uses science-based, positive reinforcement methods, and I know that when Nillie is with Eden she is in absolutely the best of hands.
Eden Halbert and Sierra Dogs board and train may be the best things that ever happened to our 16-month-old German shorthaired pointer. Holly has boarded with Eden several times and as far as we are concerned, it is the best place for any dog to board and the only place for a high-energy dog. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run and play and do they zoom. And the dogs are kept in a home atmosphere rather than a large kennel.We have attended training classes almost from the day we brought our puppy home, but we reached a point where we felt that we had gotten as far as we could. We decided on Eden's board and train program. It was very difficult parting with our dog for 4 weeks, but thanks to Eden's almost daily photo postings, we were able to see our girl having the time of her life. Actually, we worried that she was having so much fun that she may not want to come home. The day we picked her up, we saw a dramatically different dog. To be sure, she still has impulse control issues, but we now have some mechanisms to help us cope with them. We do have a much better behaved dog. Eden spent nearly 2 hours with us going over Holly's detailed training report that we can refer to as we continue the training Eden initiated. Eden has indicated that she is willing to come to our home to help us with any special training issues. Would I recommend Sierra Dogs boarding? Without a moment's hesitation I would. Would I recommend Eden's board and train? An emphatic yes!

Sierra Dogs has the expertise and experience in dog training and additionally provides a caring and nurturing facility, I could not ask for a better place to board and train my best pup friend. It's so wonderful to see how excited my pup gets as I drive up the road to Sierra Dogs. It has become her other home.

Absolutely amazing place for your pup to get some zoomies out! I took my dog here years ago & now with our new pup we needed a place to take her while we are either working or just wanted her to make & play with new fur friends. The staff is awesome & super friendly. The place the dogs with like minded pups as to keep the energy levels even. You can drop off for short periods of time or all day if needed which is nice. After Gizmo's first two days there she was so tired she fell asleep immediately in the car haha My little tasmanian devil was beat! She was so happy an excited. So happy she has some new fur friends to play with there. Definitely recommend

We have a 11 month old berenese and she has been going to Linda, Beth and the staff at uppity ever since we got her. She loves to play with her friends and as sad as it sounds she never wants to leave 🤣 . My dog is well taken care of and loved and its a relief to not worry while I am at work.
My dog absolutely loves the day care. The first couple of visits she was iffy walking in but now she flies out of the car and is so excited to see her doggy and human friends. I don't worry about her at all while she's there.

There's an employee named Max that might look like an Alaskan Bushman somedays. But he's one of those people all dogs like they can tell who's good and who's evil. Plus he's my best friend so I know he's good. Anyway good place if you need dog baby sitter
Not recommend unless it’s your very last choice. For daycare: they use big area pens for bigger/smaller dogs which are good but the smell was HORRIBLE. Human can’t stand a second of that smell not to mention your pups. For boarding: the iron small cages they use it’s literally the same as PRISON. They claimed to put quiet dogs and louder dogs in two areas but the fact is the quiet areas are all crazily barking dogs (small&big). The iron cage is very small, and there’s no window, no air, no natural light, and also smell so bad. They are so short of staff. Two people in charge of ~10 daycare dogs, plus ~50 boarding dogs. If you can accept that, then you can choose their cheap price. If not, don’t go.
We boarded our dog here for 2 days/1 night while whitewater rafting in the area. We felt very misled. Our rescue pup is half pit bull and half other things. We had a long conversation with a worker guy here about her play style and told him her breed when we made the reservation. I also sent in the paperwork and her medical records in advance. We were assured that she would get to play with other dogs. We reiterated her play style when we dropped her off and were assured that all was good and the dogs' play was supervised. Then when we picked her up a different older woman told us that our dog didn't even get to play with other dogs at all b/c she was half partially pit bull. Apparently, she only got one-on-one time with humans but never got to play with anyone. If this is the place's policy, they should have told us that when we made the booking or dropped her off and continued to talk to them about play time. Not led us to believe she was getting play time or at least a chance to take a temperament test and see if she got along with the others in boarding. Yet another example of unfounded pit bull discrimination in California. It's fine if that's he facility's policy..that's their choice. But I just wished they would have told us and not made it a surprise at pick up. If we knew this policy, we would have looked for another boarding facility b/c our pup deserves at least a chance to play. A generous 3 stars only since it seems that she was fed properly and returned to us with no injuries and the price is good for the area .
Our pups had their first ever boarding experience at Uppity Pup. They stayed 5 days and while happy to see us upon our return they were also clearly well taken care of and happy with the staff.
Steven & Stacey are the best!! They take such good care of our pup. I love that I get daily pictures while I’m away so I can rest easy that Leo’s having a great time in my absence. I appreciate that there’s options to either board our pup at their home or they’ll make house visits - whatever works best for you. Our boy Vinz just had his first stay with Stacey and Steven. They were amazing! So patient with our boy since he is still a pup! They sent pictures while we were away and let us know how he was doing throughout his stay. This gave me great peace of mind since it was our first time leaving him. You can see how passionate they both are about animals and love knowing how happy Vinz was. We will definitely be using Pawsome pets again!!

They took great care of my dog, I loved getting pictures, videos and updates daily. My dog came home so happy, clean and well cared for ! The property is well fenced and kept my dog in , she was able to run and explore all she wanted. I loved seeing pictures of her playing with the other dogs, and getting love from Steve and Stacey as well as getting warm by the fire 😎 Highly recommend. They are very affordable.
I am so grateful for Pawsome Pet Services. They have cared for my 3, and now 2 (RIP Miss Roxy), fur babies since 2018. One of my pooches is blind and the other is deaf. Our miniature poodle stayed at Pawsome Pet Services while we went on vacation. I received daily text updates and pictures which was great. Buddy got along great with the other dogs it was nice knowing that he was well cared for while we were away. We will definitely be using Pawsome Pet Services again and I am recommending them to our family and friends.
Pawsome Pets is awesome! Like many of us, my dogs are my babies and when they’re at Pawsome Pets, they’re treated like a member of their family! They have full run of the house and yard. I get daily pictures of them playing with other pups or snuggling in the owner’s lap etc. Pawsome Pets allows me to go on vacation without worrying about my babies at all. They think they’re on vacation!!

I love this place. Jeremy and Alicia have always taken great care of my 3 babies, ever since I started flying to the east coast, regularly, for work. They always send me picture updates and let me know how they are doing. My dogs are always tired out after i pick them up, and they are always happy when i bring them back. My dog, Maia, loves staying at PDH! And if she loves it, I do too! Both the owners are great people and really love taking care of dogs, and it shows! I wish I had found them a couple years ago, but in my life everything happens as it should. Every picture I'm sent while Maia is there, I can tell Maia is happy and having a good time. And when I'm there to pick her up she's not dragging me to the car wanting to rush home, cuz she wasn't happy stayin in whatever curfuffle she dealt with....which has happened with other sitters or boardings I've tried. And for me, and my weird life, the fact that Alicia and Jeremy are flexible with keeping Maia more days than I planned for is huge for me! Maia chose them to take care of her, as long as the pool is full, the treats are a plenty and she's treated like family and is allowed on the furniture with the peoples... shes happy as a clam. And, I know better than to let a husky review anything, cuz they are highly vocal, and all, but for me with Maia its her body language when she's around people that speaks more to me ... and with both Jeremy and Alicia, she leans in to being petted and smiles. Says volumes to me about Maia's opinion of them, and to me, makes every dollar I spend for Maia to be with them is well worth it!!!!!!!
We have boarded our dogs and our cat many times with Alicia and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are very conscientious of our pets needs or special needs if required. We get pictures of our pets while in their care to be assured they are doing well.

Great home for your puppies when you're away on vacation! I love Placerville Dog House. We use them often. They're a little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. They are always professional and easy to work with. And their pricing is much more competitive than anywhere else in the area. Happy Customer. Highly recommend!
Amazing! We took our 6 month old German Shepherd Maui here today for doggy daycare (aka "playcare" as Alicia perfectly describes it) so he could socialize with other pups and burn some energy. Judging by how he is zonked right now and the look on his face when we picked him up, he had the best time. We were immediately greeted upon arrival and Alicia and Jeremy gave us a quick tour of the place. The backyard play area is incredible and has multiple obstacles, tunnels and room for pups to explore. You can tell a lot of thought and work was put into the space. Alicia and Jeremy were extremely kind and knowledgeable, and we felt 100% safe leaving our boy there for the day. They brought out a few different pups to introduce to Maui to see how he would do, and all went great. It ended up raining while he was there, and of course he got muddy playing with all of his new friends. These guys are so awesome that they gave him a nice rinse and dry down before we left so he'd be good to go for the car ride home. All in all this was an amazing experience and we will be back for any and all of our boarding/play date needs! PS: Alicia also takes great photos!
We are so glad we found Alicia's Leash Animal Services. Not only are they conveniently located to suit our needs but the care they provided our dog was top notch and much better than a typical kennel situation. We will definitely be using them for our future boarding needs. Angie gives them a 5 star rating!
Great place! We just moved to the area and needed a place to board our dog overnight. Alicia's Leash was wonderful and took our dog last minute. I was a little nervous dropping our dog off because she is quite shy but she did great and I knew she was in good hands. They took excellent care of her and she seemed to have a lot of fun. They have a big shaded area for the dogs to play in complete with tires, grass, tunnels, etc. and all the dogs sleep indoors at night. We will definitely be back!
They have a beautiful spot in the mountain. Not commercial at all. Just a home converted to a dog care facility. The play area is contained well and has tunnels and igloos buried around for the dogs. Jeremy and Alicia are really nice. Highly recommended!
It was my first time taking my dog boarding and we went to Alicia’s Leash. Alicia is super nice and great with animals! She made me feel so comfortable to keep my dog there overnight and she also sends you pictures and videos of your dogs playing with the other dogs! I would 100% recommend Alicia’s leash to anyone that wants to be able to relax on a vacation or business trip and know that your dog is in great hands! Also when I picked up my dog she even made a magnet with our dogs picture! I can’t wait to take my dog back for day care so she can play with all her friends!

Highly recommend! I am a petsitter and really needed a petsitter while I had to take a trip out of the country and this was a perfect fit. My 2 small dogs had so much fun with the other dogs in their care! The dogs are in the home with them and they have access to an outdoor patio area and play yard. No cages or kennels. Kristen was amazing, she sent me photos and videos of my pups every day. It was hard to go out of town because I would miss them so much them, but I felt very good about their care and knew they were safe, getting exercise and being loved on. They also pay keen attention to the interactions of the animals with one another making sure all are doing well and no Alpha dominates the others. Kirsten and Mike do an excellent job. Got pictures and updates daily for a 13 day stay. Our dog rarely is boarded and he had a good time. Would highly recommend them and Porter(the dog) will be back. Great place
We were in town for a couple days, and needed care for our dog Kaia on two separate occasions. Kirsten was super communicative, easygoing, and offered wonderful care for our dog. Each day Kaia came back very happy :), and we had total peace of mind knowing she was in good hands.

We were going out of town for 3 nights and Wolf Road Retreat was close by and thought we would give a try for our Chanel(cat). I'm very picky and was nervous but Kristin shared photos and videos throughout the day and was in contact stating all was OK. Chanel seemed very happy which of course we were (are) happy. This is our second time to board Scooby, He loves the place and I can feel compared of the last one. He likes Kirsten and Michael the owner. They gave him an enormous amount of attention. For me it’s more of building relationship to Scooby, he is very attach to us as an owner, also I appreciate there place they don’t put him in a Kennels they allowed Scooby to stay inside their own house and play with other dogs. He feels like he is part of the family. Thank you Kirsten for the wonderful care for Scooby.

She not only takes care of the dogs, but has been great about watering plants when needed and always makes sure our house is safe and secure while we are gone. I am so thankful to Vickie at BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! I am the kind of dog mom that puts my 2 boys Doug and Rusty (dachshunds) above myself. I set my house up so that THEY are happy and comfortable. I have a low bed,, doggie ramps everywhere and there are dog toys all over. I would say that they are a little spoiled ❤️🐾🐾❤️ I only trust a few people with my dogs. I recently moved to Fair Oaks. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICKIE AND BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! She is reasonably priced and very accommodating. ******************!!!!💕
I am appalled at the neglect and inhumane treatment of my dog. We left my dog Roxxy there for the weekend over 4th of July. We made sure they were aware she was a rescue dog with anxiety, and we were guaranteed that our dog would not be left alone during the fireworks. After we got our dog home, that night we realized her mouth was severally injured. Apparently, she had been left outside in a metal crate during fireworks while the owners of Bow Pow Pet sitting went to the liquor store, and tried to chew her way out causing the damage to her mouth. Multiple teeth had been broken off, her gums were destroyed and she had literally chewed so long and hard the bone of her jaw was damaged. We were never notified that our dog had been injured under their care, we had to wait to find out when we got her back, and with the extent of the injury being as bad as it was I have a hard time believing there were no signs of blood or injury when it happened. The surgery to fix my dog's mouth was over $3,500, which Bow Wow Pet sitting never even tried to repay. I felt the owners of Bow Wow pet sitting were unprofessional and down right negligent to have let this happen. To top it all off, after multiple complaints from us they still have pictures of my dog on their website, against my approval, to advertise their business. Usually I am not one to write angry online reviews but I feel strongly that they were negligent towards my dog.
My dogs were well taken care of in a family style environment. Both had individual needs and their needs were well taken care of. Was so pleased with the great care both dogs received! Recommend!

We have been using Debbie for over two years now when we go out of town and she is always incredible. The updates and photos she sends everyday keep us from worrying about our 3 cats and since Debbie is always so nice, the cats have grown used to her and don’t have to hide.
Can't say enough great things about Debbie! We have 2 dogs that she has boarded for us for >5 years now. They absolutely LOVE staying with Debbie and getting to hang out in her backyard and play with the other dogs. She treats them like family members. One of our dogs has 3 medications and Debbie has never had any issues making sure she gets her meds. We have referred a few people to Debbie and all have raved about her services. Our family literally plans our trips around whether Debbie is available to watch the dogs (and she usually is). We enjoy being out of town so much more knowing that the dogs are so well taken care of!
Finding Debbie has made my life so much simpler/better! I have last-minute business trips and having her available to take care of my very sensitive/anxious pup, has been amazing. She sends pictures & updates while I'm gone so that I don't have to worry! And...since she only takes smaller dogs, Daisy is getting socialized in a way that she doesn't while at home. Her yard is also beautiful for the dogs to enjoy...bonus!
I am so grateful that we found King‘s pet sitting . We’ve been taking Bogey there for three years and he loves it. We can go away feeling very comfortable that he is in a home environment where he’s cared for and loved. He gets excited as soon as we turn down Debbie’s street. Debbie keeps in touch with us, sending pictures regularly so we can travel knowing he’s as well cared for with Debbie and her family, as he is at home. She’s flexible and reliable. Debbie came into our lives when I was renovating a home in EDH and moving from Los Gatos. I had to board my little golden doodle with her for 8 months during that time. My dog cooper loves to go to Debbie's home. He has a favorite friend named Trevor that he loves and I like to make sure Trevor is there when taking Cooper to Debbie's. I can't say enough great things about King’s Pet Sitting Services! I have been using Kings for years, and I never worry when I have to leave my fur babies in their care. They are always reliable and send pictures from each visit with a text message written by one of my pets. I hate to leave my babies, but I always know they are in good hands. We had our dog over once during the day and one time over night to practice for a longer vacation stay. She was very friendly and had only a few small dogs over. The second time we wanted to pick up our dog a little earlier than planned but she wasn’t at home and asked us to come back 4 hours later. All the dogs ran to the front window as we waited there and nobody opened the door, which meant they were at home alone for most of the day at least. This broke our trust. Anything could have happened while the dogs all agitated around. She also forgot to return our treats that we gave her for our dog specifically, when I asked to pick them up the next day she didn’t know which one were ours. We will not book her again.
I feel very comfortable anytime we leave our pets entrusted with Debbie. Always punctual, spends time with our pets and appreciate the text/photos of our animals following each visit. Fantastic!
My dog is an active husky and slightly timid/anxious without me around. After a recent escape adventure from a friends house, I was really nervous to board him anywhere but had to leave someone suddenly for a family emergency. I was so lucky that Gina had space, as Dogwoods Resort was the only place I was really willing to consider. Gina is so good with the dogs, and the property is absolutely perfect, with large fenced areas for them to run around. Being a helicopter mom, I went in for a meet and greet before our reservation and after seeing the place and meeting Gina, any concerns I may have had were put at ease knowing that my dog would be safe, have lots of room to play, and could be social with other dogs. He came home dirty, tired and happy and that is exactly what I wanted for my pup. I know it can be hard to get a booking, but I understand why - I wouldn’t want to leave my dog anywhere else. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been taking my dogs to Dog Woods for at least 10 years. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. The property is beautiful and I know Grizzly is being well cared for and having fun all day with the other dogs. When he comes home he sleeps for hours. It is not your typical daycare. Gina does a really fantastic job. Communication is excellent and it's easy to book a reservation. Grizzly loves Dog Woods. He will be back often.
Our fur babies love going to Auntie Gina's! They will vocally express their excitement and wag their tails once we turn onto the road leading to Dog Woods. We miss them while we are away, but know they are extremely well taken care of and most of all loved. Jeff and Dalaina
I have brought my Great Dane here many times, Gina takes amazing care of my dogs, and all of the dogs in her care. Easy booking, great communication, and lovely facility. If your dog needs a place to have fun while you’re on vacation this is the place to go.
Our pups have stayed with Dog Woods several times over a couple of years. We have a rescue that is overly cautious of new people, but is excited every time we pull up to the Resort. Moose, Pua, and their humans 100% recommend.
Dog Woods resort is truly a home away from home! Gina is awesome. Very welcoming, the dogs are all happy playing and running around inside this beautiful property. Great place for our two dogs to have a vacation while we were on vacation. Beautiful open space for the dogs to roam, play and run. Our dogs were well cared for, communication was superb, and the web service for scheduling, notifications, and overall ease of use for us was fabulous. My pup Gideon LOVES DWR! He gets SO excited every time we pull up to the property and shows Gina all kinds of love when he see's her. His humans love DWR too! Booking his visits is super easy and the communications around confirmations, payment, etc. is fantastic! DWR is PAWSOME!
Dogwoods is unlike the normal commercial dog boarding places. Your dog is not just another $ sign here. They take the time to get to know their clients and the clients parents. Dogwoods also makes accommodations for dogs with special needs and senior dogs who need a little more attention. You can rest, assured your dog will be in great hands and allow to enjoy your vacation knowing your dog go is having a blast and is being well cared for!
