Jolynne & Steve graciously welcomed us with dinner and a tour of the house and downtown West Chester - an area filled with history - and great food! Their home is well appointed and wonderfully comfortable. They know how to stage it for housesitters which made our stay easy and orderly. We've definitely made new friends! The Kids (Louis and Angel) were a delight and easy to care for. They let us know when they wanted out to the fenced yard (no need for walks - unless you want to explore the nearby parks with them!). It was a mutual love fest of cuddles and play. We highly recommend this sit and would absolutely return to spend more time with them while exploring the rich history of this area.
We just had a fantastic housesit looking after Anjuna and Javanna. They are so funny and well-behaved cats and you'll grow to love them very quickly. Anjuna might need some time but once she observed you long enough and you passed... you'll never have an empty lap again. :) Javanna on the other hand doesn't need anytime for extra observation, she is very cuddly from the first day. Maya & Alex were really great hosts, provided all the necessary information we needed, and also told us a lot about Anjuna's & Javanna's behavior and habits which was very helpful. Communication was clear and easy all the way. We can highly recommend this sit and hope to look after the girls again one day. Thank you so much for everything!
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unforeseen emergency during our scheduled sit. I made every effort to be transparent and responsible by promptly informing Nancy about the situation. My communication was clear, and I appreciated Nancy's understanding of the circumstances. My priority was to find a suitable alternative pet sitter for Nancy, given the unexpected events. The emergency was beyond my control, and I did my best to handle the situation while minimizing the impact on them and their pet. I acknowledge that emotions can influence reviews, and I assure you that my dedication to providing reliable and compassionate pet-sitting services remains unwavering. As evidenced by my prior positive reviews, I take pride in ensuring my clients’ satisfaction. Although seemingly understanding, Nancy left a negative review for me. Not just the one day of sitting was Nancy’s aggressive nature while visiting before my stay. Yet, I decided to remain committed to my obligation; upon arrival, Nancy’s home was extraordinarily cluttered and unkept. Within one day of sitting, a friend questioned my clothing attire for bed. I also experienced a dog walker with a negative vibe who stormed off upon the initial meeting. The woman failed to acknowledge me or walk the dog.
I had a great time in Tring with Tinker and Rascal, who are gorgeous pussy cats. Before I arrived, Jackie and Danny communicated promptly with written and video instructions. The home and glorious cats were very easy to care for. The home is located very near to the canal, where you can walk or cycle for minutes or hours to other villages and towns, pubs along the way, or simply enjoy the scenery and narrow boats. The village of has all the amenities you need and then some; you'll be quite content. Local people are friendly. I felt safe in the home and really enjoyed my stay. This is a fabulous sit for relaxing with the bengals, who both have a lovely nature, put your feet up and watch movies, or go to the other extreme and explore and adventure locally. I did it all and loved it. Thank you Jackie, Danny, Tinker and Rascal. It has been fabulous to explore and I couldnt have done it without you :)
Tiago and his sweet family were lovely to sit for. They invited us to get there the night before they had to leave to have a meal together and have time to chat, go through the cats' routine, and ask any questions. We really appreciated their kindness and enjoyed getting to know them. Ringo and Lupin were very easy to care for and very loving once they got used to us. Ringo even plays fetch, which is very fun! We would be happy to care for them any time and hope to see their humans again for more good conversation. :)
