We had a wonderful time with Duke and Rosco. Duke is a super sweet people dog. He couldn’t get enough of the back rubs, nuzzling us, and getting brushed. Rosco is still very much a pup and a fetching machine. He bends humans to his will by dropping the ball at your feet and staring at it. When inside, they’re both happy just staying close and lounging with us. Duke liked to sleep close – in our room’s doorway – but Rosco tried to get even closer. After we washed up, we caught him in our bed ☺ Traci and Mike are such gracious hosts. They made us feel welcomed as soon as we arrived. We really enjoyed getting to chat with them and playing with baby Mikey. Their house is comfortable and roomy, in a neighborhood where everyone says hello and waves to each other. The Heber Valley is quiet and beautiful, with country charm surrounded by snow-laced mountains. It was wonderful to have the Dutch Hollow trails, quaint cafes, and the Olympic nordic center so close by. We would be love to sit for them again, and highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys all four seasons and happy labs.
We had an absolutely wonderful pet and house sitting experience at Nick and Sarah’s place. The house was beautiful and newly renovated with cafes, parks and pubs all close by. The highlight, of course, was spending time with fun-loving MooCow and affectionate Bramble, who brought a lot of joy to walks in the parks and fun times at home. Sarah and Nick left very clear instructions for looking after the pets and the house, ensuring a very pleasant and relaxing stay. This experience was a perfect blend of comfort, companionship and exploration and is highly recommended. Would love to sit for them again if the opportunity arose.
We had a great 1 1/2 month stay at Yoeris and Margots place! We arrived one day earlier, had a very warm welcome and Yoeri even cooked for us all! <3 Communication was always very clear and they shared with us the most detailed Welcome Guide ever seen - Highly appreciated! The house has everything you need with several floors, so we got strong legs walking the stairs. The place is located in a very nice neighbourhood with nice cafes, restaurants, a lot of green and water around and also very close to central station and the beautiful inner city of Amsterdam. But now the stars of the show: Mona, Rona, Coco and Cookie. Once you got the names and remembered who is who you will find 4 really lovable pets. First, Mona: She is a super friendly & happy dog, loves cuddles and going for walks and is highly food motivated. In general she is very frugal. She was super close with us, straight from the beginning. Second, Coco: Coco is quite new to the family and besides beeing a rescue dog and needing a bit of extra time to really trust, she is a happy dog that gets extremely excited about treats and wants to get pet alot (super sweet, when she jumps on your lap!) Unfortunately she could not go for walks yet, because of leash anxiety. Third, Rona: She is a really curious cat and loves everyone. She wants to be near you, loves to be pet and play around with some toys. Rona is born with asthma, so we had to let her inhale 4 times a day, but she is used to that. Last but not least, Cookie aka Oreo: The first day we didn`t know we have a second cat haha. After warming up, Cookie was in general super easy going and asked us, to pet her too. It took some time during the day to take care of all animals, but beeing two people made it ways easier. All in all we had a great stay in the nice area of Amsterdam Noord. Thanks again to Yoeri, Margot & their furry family <3
Taking care of Amadeus and Nanneri was a joy! I had the pleasure of cat sitting them for a few days and I would definitely recommend it. Jacqueline was very easy to communicate with and the home was great. I was even able to do this sit without a car with ease. Ubers and walking were always an option!
We had a wonderful stay at Marilee and Lindy's house! Communication before, during and even after the sit was great. They made us feel right at home from the moment we got there, we really enjoyed spending time with them and sharing our and their previous travel experiences and stories. The pets were very loving towards us and our kids (9 and 4 years old). Reuben loved playing fetch with Milo and Anika enjoyed playing with Wali (who thinks she's a dog sometimes!) Auttie snuggled up to the two of us for loads of loving cuddles. The house is very spacious, clean and tidy and equipped with all the necessary appliances, mod-cons, towels, linen, and good quality furniture to ensure that you'll enjoy a comfortable stay. The outside porch and pool area is a great bonus, as well as the park which is just behind the house for some walks. The house is also situated very close to all the shops you may need. The animals were very easy and straight forward to take care of and we'll reccommend this sit to anyone. They also left clear instructions for the pets and the house. The sit is great for a family, couple or even a single person - easy enough to manage by yourself. Definitely one to remember :)
Great sit. Bogey and Bella are sweet fur babies. Love to cuddle and play fetch. Kristy was a great host. Happy to pet sit again. Thanks for trusting me with your pets and home!
