Sharon and Milton did a great job with our cats. In fact we’ve already booked them for a trip later this year. Our cats are both rescues and while they are plenty friendly with us, they take a little time to warm up to strangers. It was clear that Sharon and Milton were dedicated to winning over our cats and sought tips whenever possible to “crack the code” for reciprocal feline affection. Of course, a 20-day sit gave them plenty of opportunity. We returned to a clean house like we left it and communication was excellent.
Linda and Paul were such amazing and accommodating hosts. They were so kind to me as I worked through a medical emergency as soon as I arrived, and were very supportive of my needs. Lucy bean was such a loving dog, with such a huge personality. All three cats were very sweet as well, and were such good company through my stay. I highly recommend this sit to anyone who travels to the Maryland, DC, Virginia area.
We had a lovely time with Clover in Jess and Mike's stylish flat. Clover is clearly part of their family and she had loads of toys, scratching posts and fun feeders to play with. We also really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with her on her lead. She's a fun, friendly cat who likes pets! Jess and Mike were easy to talk to and answered all our questions quickly. They were generous with their space and have a really nice relaxed vibe. Finally, the area round their flat is also walkable to both the Concord BART station and a plaza with lots of food options. I'd definitely recommend this sit!
Naia and Samantha are absolute gems! They are wonderful companions, loving and so easy to take care of. It was wonderful to be able to spend so much time with them! Frank and Rick's house is fantastic and super central to everything in town. They have a stunning home with a ton of comfortable amenities & they're walking distance to so many cafes, shops, restaurants, etc. I definitely recommend this sit and I hope to see Naia and Samantha again soon!
We had such a lovely time looking after Rusty. He’s a very easy going dog and the house is in a beautiful location with easy access to get the bus into the village. Thank Kim and Steve for letting us look after Rusty!
This was my first sit with Trusted Housesitters and the bar has been set high! To start, Jonathan and Alex are great. I had the opportunity to meet them prior to my sit, meet Mochi and get a tour of the home. They are incredibly kind and generous. They really do their best to make sure your stay is comfortable and that you feel at home. Mochi... such a good boy, mostly he just wants to be at your side. He is playful but loves his naps. He likes to go for walks but mostly just to sniff everything he can. I dont mind dogs in bed with me and he is a snuggler. I miss him already. The guest room is comfortable and has its own bathroom. I love my coffee in the morning, the espresso machine with views from the back patio sitting by the fire feature was a beautiful way to start the day. The home is beautiful and located in a safe area with great walking paths and shopping near by. I would happily sit for Mochi anytime!
