What more can a mommy want but to see her doggie run around in excitement when Dee comes to visit! Dee has been part of our family since our cockapoo, Brody, was a pup. He’s 5 now. Being a first time dog owner, Dee guided me on how to best take care of Brody -above and beyond my expectations. We have not used anyone else. And, whenever we go out of town, we have her watch Brody in our home which puts us at ease. I recommend Dee highly and without reservation. She is truly a caring individual, very reliable and trustworthy.

I read the reviews of Uncle Shawns and I decided to book an appointment for my puppy's first time grooming experience. I booked it a few days ago for this morning. I showed up there on time this morning but Uncle Shawn was nowhere to be found and didn't call me back. I called a few times. Twenty minutes later he did call me back but I had already left by then. He told me that he would meet me in front of the house and I can give him the dog. I told him that I'm not going to just drop off the dog in front of the house, for all I know "Uncle Shawn" could be some random guy. So I never did get to Uncle Shawn's grooming service. He might be very good. Most of his reviews are good but the two that I read that aren't, are very, very bad; but it's clear that he doesn't prioritize this business. Maybe he needs to understand that a business requires responsibilities and he needs to be more on the same page with his clients. If I'm paying him $100 he needs to be much more present and at least have some idea when my appointment is.

As a result of my experience with zen animals, I was referred to Uncle Shawn‘s Petcare by my veterinarian technician, daughter! Nowadays it’s nice to feel comfortable with whom you entrust with the care of your pets. Although I had to travel from Brooklyn to the Bronx, it was worth the trip! The two pups, Prince and Sugar were well groomed and they didn’t appeared to be traumatized from being there! Happy to be picked up as one would expect but well cared for by Shawn! So you see it truly makes a difference when people who provide a service do so with their utmost care and respect of persons and PETS too! I will be travel the distance again to Uncle Shawn’s place when the time comes for them to get groomed in the future if I don’t take them to Atlanta to my nephew’s shop to get groomed before I myself attempt to, do-it-myself!!!!!!! My wife and I struggled to find a groomer for our dog today. After a long search on Google, we found Uncle Shawn's Petcare. Shawn did an excellent job with the grooming, exactly as we had instructed. It took only about an hour, whereas other salons usually take at least two hours. We were impressed with how Shawn handled our dog. In other salons, our dog would come out very tired (we suspected they sedate our dog), but with Shawn, our dog was just as active as before. Shawn offers the best value for money, charging less than commercial salons while delivering high-quality service. Shawn knows how to handle dogs well. Shawn has a grooming van and can come to your place.

Shawn was very gentle and kind with my sick dog. My pup never cried or pulled away. These are before and after pics. The cut was even, and natural, the way I wanted it. I would highly recommend him.

This is my Chihuahua OB that Uncle Shawn's Petcare Shawn and Crystal the owners gross negligence killed on June 26th 2024 Come to find out that they don't have a business license and insurance for some time As of this date now 6/16/24 This company still has been negligent by dealing with my woes. Took my yorkie "chase" to Shawn showed him a picture of the cut I wanted on him. Left and came back and the cut was exactly what I wanted. Shawn was very personable and gave chase an amazing cut. I highly recommend him for the cut you want for your dog.

I made an appointment for 4:15 today and when I arrived at the location they had a sign that said “Don’t ring bell, call Shawn’s cell”. I called about 5 times and did not get anyone. It’s been a good 20 mins and I was standing outside waiting for someone to come around and meet me to groom my dog. I even sent a text saying i was here and that I’m calling and not getting anyone. Very weird to have an appointment and not have anyone answer or show up. Definitely a fake business or a scam. Please avoid these people.

Uncle Shawn's Petcare is amazing, genuine, comfortable, tender and of course professional. We apologize for the delay in this review so busy lately. Our boy Rottweiler mix 1yr 3mos was so pleased in April 2022, (after he realized he wasn't going into the wash place of doggie horror 😆)when he had a different experience for being in a grooming place with a kennel. It was no distractions and calm energy given. We truly have found a real groomer who is compassionate in his profession. Appreciate your time, work, travel and care Uncle Shawn 🐾💌✨pet are for us‼️

I took my shih tzu bella to Shawn and he did an awesome job..he was very professional and to top it off he gave her a walk. I am definitely recommending him to my friends.

Love the Perfect Pooch. I found them through Google and Yelp reviews and the reviews are so accurate. I was so worried as a new dog owner and they treat my dog with such care. They started watching him before he was fully vaccinated so more pet sitting and they were fantastic. I got tons of updates and pics and they truly care for the pets. They’re great about notes and requests and did a great job feeding him and keeping him entertained. I most recently tried their overnight service which was fantastic and didn’t disrupt my puppy’s routine. I always feel like my dog is cared for by folks (especially Joy!) who love dogs and take extra care to treat my puppy with kindness -highly recommended.

Maggie is pure joy. She's also a 55lb diva who needs a long walk every day to keep her being a pure joy as my workday co-pilot. I had a scary experience with a solo dog walker, and then I found Leeland, who heads the Perfect Pooch. Lili, Gable, Raeven and sometimes Leland herself walk Maggie both alone, and sometimes with great buddies. I've seen them outside from a distance, and know how Maggie is super excited when it's time for their arrival. Maya stayed with Maggie while we were away, too. I feel confident and very comfortable knowing Maggie gets her walk (no matter the weather). The portal is very easy to use for communication, and payment, too.

I have been using perfect pooch for cat sitting for several months now. They have watched our cats during several trips. It is easy to schedule via their app, they are reliable, take good care of our cats, and always send follow up notes and pictures. As an added bonus - they also leave our apartment tidy - vacuuming up litter and taking out the cat food tins.

New to the city and have been using the perfect pooch for over a month and weve been so happy. They use an app to message, schedule, and share all the happenings including real time mapped walks, timestamped visits, photos and a sweet message from the walker. Leeland the business owner is wonderful and communicative and came to meet our dog and then set up a meet up with our incredible primary walker Rheanna! Rheanna has been so great with our dog Finley, so respectful of our space and just an all around great person. Thank you for all you do for Finley!

My experience with The Perfect Pooch has been overly positive. The business owner is very responsive, and helps to do all booking, scheduling, payment, and messaging through a commonly used app. All employees have been trustworthy in my home, including the business owner who shares in the workload during busy weekends. Employees are largely detail oriented as well as cat-friendly and very patient even in the face of very shy cats who can lock themselves in a room.

I've been using The Perfect Pooch NYC for about a year now, and they take the BEST care of my little chihuahua! He was a COVID puppy, so I hadn't had to leave him with a walker/sitter before, but Leeland and her team are so professional, caring, and warm that I felt comfortable instantly. My dog be a little feisty (to put it nicely) but he adores his walker Ashley, and she keeps him happy and in check on their daily Central Park walks. I've also used them for overnight boarding, and was so impressed with the quality of care and updates. Can't recommend Leeland, Ashley, and the Perfect Pooch team enough!

As a very satisfied customer of the Perfect Pooch for a few years now, I have relied upon them for overnight pet sitting, walks, and at-home puppy sitting for three of my large breed dogs. We love Dan’s Pet service as do our pets! We have 2 labradoodles and a tuxedo cat. We have used Dan’s for a couple of years now for overnights, walks, feeding, medicine dispensing, as well as rides to the groomer. The walkers and sitters always send us the cutest photos and sweet updates on how they are doing while we are gone. It gives us peace of mind that our animals are being cared for as we would care for them. They always respond and are even available last minute. I first started using Dan's Pet Care when I had surgery and was unable to walk my dog. It was unexpected surgery so I had to get help quickly. They were very accommodating. They were very professional - on time, very good with him, and tired him out! Since then I have been receiving their emails about their services and gain valuable dog care tips along the way! For example, how they limit their walks when it is excruciatingly hot outside. When the time came for me to find help while I went to work, I knew where I wanted to bring my now 2 pups! They had opened their crate free boarding & day care facility! And even though I do not live close by, it is 100% worth the investment and travel time. They have multiple team members with all eyes on the dogs. The facility is set up so they have tons of room to run and play. It is super clean. They are upfront and honest about everything going on in their facility and well organized. I have also boarded my dogs overnight there. They were snuggled up on a bed! Looked like a slumber party! They pay attention to detail with every dog. One of my dogs has a lot of allergies and I don't have to worry about her getting into anything she shouldn't and don't have to worry about them giving her anything she shouldn't have either. The best part is how excited and loving everyone there is and how excited my pups are to spend time there! I get daily report cards and pictures which further adds to my peace of mind. When traveling or away for the day, we've relied on Dan's to walk, feed, play with and visit our two dogs, a lab and a multipoo. One staff member is kinder and more professional than the next, and the dogs are treated like THEIR family members. We've done several overnights, all of which have been great. We especially love the app, which allows us to easily make appointments and receive detailed updates about the visits with our dogs. They even include photos. We never have a worry when someone from Dan's is with our dogs. And, they treat our home with respect and care. This is one of my favorite businesses of all time!

My pup can be a bit of a handful so I was a bit nervous about finding a walker for her, but I knew from the moment I met Pedro that she would be in good hands! We had Pedro dog-sit our 2 dogs at our wedding recently at Wave Hill in the Bronx. He was TREMENDOUS! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He was amazing to work with and such a great guy. He took phenomenal care of our dogs (1 big dog and 1 little dog). The dogs were honestly upset to be leaving his care at the end of the night. Pedro and Vincent have been walking my large, lazy dog for nearly 2 years. He is professional, flexible and easy to work with. He is always cheerful and pleasant and really cares about our dog. Our dog can be quite resistant to getting off the couch to walk during the day - especially in the summer or if it's raining - and Hot Paws can always get him happily out the door. I hired Pedro to take care of my GSD while I was working out of state. Pedro did an excellent job taking care of my pride and joy. Dana is amazing! My husband and I moved back to the city with our 1 year old puppy, Zelda, last summer. She was a nervous wreck and everything scared her. We needed a dog walker and Dana was the answer. Zelda loved her from day 1 and Dana has helped her feel more confident and secure. Like many other residents in our building, we have worked with Dana for many years, trusting her to skillfully and lovingly care for our pets while we are away. Having Dana walk our very big energetic puppy for a full hour at noontime has been a god send for us! Charlie loves to see Dana. He’s so excited to see her he practically jumps up into her arms (all 70 pounds of him) and when he comes home from his walk, he’s happily exhausted for the rest of the afternoon - so I can work! Dana’s reliable and personable, communicates really well and sends me photos of their adventures real time.

I’ve hired Noah’s Arc a number of times now, and everybody I’ve spoken to/worked with has been incredibly kind and professional. Latoya and Dana have always been responsive and flexible, even when I’ve called them last minute minute; and Francisco and Patricia have probably given more attention to my cat that I usually do. Their daly emails and pictures show a very happy kitten, indeed!

Dana & co have cared for my cats, Buford and now Luna, for well over ten years now and inasmuch as I always worry when I travel , I always know the “kids” will be in good and loving hands. (I sensed it the second Dana came to meet Buford and me, what seems like, at least, nine lives ago.). As any feline co-habitant will admit, you always worry about the feline threat of revenge for “abandonment” but I always return home to a calm, happy and loving cat. We brought our 1.5 year old Doberman here for boarding for the 1st time..safe to say she had an absolute blast!!! She is completely exhausted after her stay, we loved the updated pictures and reports cards daily. We will definitely be back for day care, events, and boarding when necessary. Highly recommend especially for people with big breed dogs, they handled it with ease. ❤️

Dan's Daycare is no joke THE BEST place for your fur babies! Me and my boyfriend have tried every sitter, every daycare, and nothing compares to Dan's! We have a European Doberman and it's been hard to find a daycare and boarding center that ACTUALLY know what they are doing! Everyone at Dan's knows what they are doing, SO reliable, and treat your dog like their own. I can't say enough amazing things! Dans Pet Care is amazing! I’ve done boarding and doggie day care. My pup has a lot of energy and is crate trained so I was worried about the crate free boarding but they went through everything with me and he did great. Everyday whether it’s daycare or boarding I would get a report. The last time I boarded him they gave him a bath and he smelled amazing for a month! They are also magicians because on the luau day they got him in a Hawaiian shirt, I don’t know how but they did and he sat still for the pic. It was amazing! He loves their kiddie pools & the entire staff is so excited to see him everytime he comes. He can be a lot sometimes with his high energy and he fits right in with all the other pups. I’m so grateful for the entire team at Dans Pet Care.

After having a very bad experience at Dogtopia with my poor baby Max, I can say I found the perfect place. Max now is happy going to his half-days and little by little his super fear and nervousness is changing. 🙏Joe has provided a lot of help for Max and more than thinking about money he thinks about the well-being of my dog and we are following his recommendations so that Max enjoys his play time- half days at Dan's petcare and Soon I know that Max will be ready to spend a full day playing, Julia in front desk is very special with puppys too I love her ☺️All the staff are very friendly and loving with the puppies, I love receiving the report cards and photos of the day, ☺️ thank you everyone!

I can’t say enough good things about Dan’s!!! They have been walking and training my dog ever since she was a puppy and they’re just a total pleasure to work with! They’re kind, compassionate, responsible, and love dogs!!! They not only take good care of her but she’s SOOO excited to see them when they walk through the door! No one could ask for more :)

Dan’s pet care is a gem!!! My dog absolutely LOVES the day care facility, and the walkers who come to visit. This is the most nurturing, fun, safe, happy environment for our fur baby. We love the staff, and the careful and competent , and loving attention they each give to every dog. The daily report cards and photo updates are also amazing! When we drop off Gigi , or rely on Dan’s to visit, we are confident she is in good hands. We LOVE this place!!!

Dan’s team is fantastic. They’re beyond so friendly and so good to our dog, Beau. He always comes out with a big smile! I think his favorite part is the outdoor area with sprinklers : ) We were so grateful that they toured us around the facility before Beau’s first day and love the daily report cards too.

We can’t say enough good things about Dan’s. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is spotless, and they’ve really gone the extra mile for the dogs — pools, luaus, smoothies… the list goes on. :) We’ve been so thrilled with Dan’s but, this weekend, they went WAY above and beyond. Our dog needed medical treatment while boarding. Dan took her to our local vet, got her started with antibiotics, and even offered to take her to his house for the night, so she’d been more comfortable and he could keep an eye. We got updates from Dan and the vet, and our dog is doing great. The takeaway: this crew really, REALLY cares. Dan loves dogs and it shows. And at the end of the day, that’s who you want caring for your pets. We’re so happy to have found Dan’s. I couldn’t recommend anyone or any business more highly. Thank you, Dan and team. You are an incredible addition to the community!

Since day 1, the staff at Dan’s Pet Care in Glen Cove have been nothing but welcoming & friendly. My pup was greeted with open arms & so much love. Drop off is available at 7 am which is a HUGE help with my work schedule. Late pickup is also available if needed. The process started off sending my pup to a temperament test to see where she would be best during the day. Then once passed, she was okayed to go to day care! The dogs are separated based on size. There’s also an outdoor area for when the nice days come around. Mid-day, you get a report card of how your pup is doing and you also get some pictures! Any special needs, the staff takes into consideration. The staff really seems to really care about each individual dog which makes me feel more than comfortable to send her there. Once she came home, she immediately curled up in her bed & took a nap, she was exhausted from a long day of playing! Will absolutely take advantage of all the great things Dan’s Pet Care has to offer!

After a not so great experience with another daycare service; I took my Maltipoo Malcolm to Pumpkin Paws Pet Service. I wanted to socialize my 6 month old puppy in a safe environment. Well, we got that and more. Once they saw Malcolm was relatively reserved, they busted out a ball toy. Malcolm LOVES balls. That’s all he needed to get him going. Malcolm had such a good time here. The other dogs were friendly as well, so I never felt my little guy would be physically harmed. They post pictures and videos. They are communicative. I am Sadden that we moved away and are unable to visit Pumkin Paws again. I have not been able to find another safe and welcoming daycare for my little guy since. Thank you Pumpkin Paws!!

The absolute best- they've been without exception professional and capable for the year we've been using their services, and they were able to quickly adapt and confidently administer medication to a tricky cat following a last minute vet visit right before a vacation. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and affordable cat care.

My wife and I have had a wonderful experience with Pumkin Paws! They have taken wonderful care of our Goldendoodle. They have been really flexible. Our needs change weekly and they have adjusted their walks as necessary. The staff is friendly and courteous and we have never thought twice about allowing them in our home.

My daughter is new to this place but she seems happy with them. Today was a good day for my daughters dog leia seems to be coming along. Chad sent my son in law a video of leia getting along with the other dogs. I think that was great.

Awesome service, my pooch gets to get in some socialization, little exercise and you won't feel as bad at work thinking bout her. If you love your pooch, highly recommend, very reasonably priced and the staff is very knowledgeable, caring and attentive.

Pumkin Paws goes above and beyond in taking care of our dog. They are kind and thoughtful and really care about the well being of each and every dog in their care. I highly recommend them.

We have been using Pumpkin paws since they began!! Our schedules Change constantly and they always are there for us. Life savers. Our two dogs are in the best hands!

My dog got away from this facility I had to file a police report and pay a hefty fee to get my dog back weeks later it was an absolute nightmare I do not recommend this place!
