Laura was absolutely fantastic. From the time we confirmed the visit, she was in touch making sure she understood how to best care for Jasper. Our home was pristine on our return and Jasper was a happy kitty. It was obvious he was Ioved while we were gone and Laura sent lots of pics. I highly recommend her if you need a conscientious, reliable, pet-loving sitter.
This was our first THS sit and Zach made this process smooth and simple for us. The expectations and directions were laid out clearly, and we had a chance to meet the dogs a few days before the sit started. Gus is a lovebug; Morty is so smart! They were two good boys. Their place is nice with dog park and paved trails within the complex, and beautiful greenbelt just a few blocks away. It was a pleasure to sit for Zach and Nikida!
Some people and their pets are just kind and sweet. That is true for Angela and Ellie the Wonderpup!! I loved spending time in this area with Ellie. I would recommend this sit If the opportunity arises but I'll fight you for it!!

We just finished a 4-night sit for Anthea looking after Bella, Daisy and Stella ( and the chickens). We usually prefer big dogs but we fell in love with Bella and Daisy! Daisy is the “old girl” but there’s not a mean bone in her body, she is so affectionate and not very needy. As for Bella, still being in the puppy stage, she is a mischievous little ball of energy and we had many laughs watching her antics. And just like Daisy, she is very, very affectionate. Stella the cat is more elusive but warmed up to us more and more as she got used to us. The chickens are gorgeous and lay beautiful eggs. Anthea lives in an older house full of charm and character and her backyard is absolutely alive with flowers, shrubs and plants. The pond emits a soothing sound and it’s delightful to sit on the back deck taking it all in with a glass of wine in hand. Communication with Anthea was very good before and during the sit. Her instructions and information about house and pets are very detailed. We would love to housesit for her again, and cuddle with Daisy and Bella! Claire and Keith
We loved our stay at Lori's beautiful house. It is in a lovely scenic part of the UK and there is a lot to see and experience if you do not know the area well. The house itself is exceptionally comfortable, clean, peaceful and well-equipped. Lori's pets are a complete joy - Tinker is a really lovely dog - loyal, affectionate, and very well-behaved - and Hi5 is a very friendly cat who insists on being present at all times and an essential part of the action. We had a terrific time, thanks so much :)
I cannot say enough GREAT things about housesitting for Jesse and Megan and taking care of their darling fur kiddos, Ziggy, George, and Ringo!! They were very easy to care for, super sweet, such a fun bunch, and the best little movie night “snuggling” buddies one could ask for❤️ Their house in Silver Lake was wonderful and a really nice peaceful retreat from the busy city — you don’t even realize you’re that close to downtown LA. Being perched up on a hill, it has a view of the Griffith Observatory and the famous Hollywood sign from afar, and has a great view for watching the sunset over the Hollywood sign/hills. One of my favorite parts of this housesit (outside of hanging out with precious Ziggy, George, and Ringo of course 😉), was to eat dinner on their back outdoor patio and watch the beautiful sunsets - it became a nice evening routine! The house is also really comfortable and has everything you need for a very relaxing and comfortable stay — I loved their “movie room” where I enjoyed every minute I could get snuggling with Ziggy, Ringo, and/or George who all warmed up to me very quickly and always maneuvered to find themselves a comfy place in my lap or cuddled up against me when I’d sit around the house. They were so sweet and just a bundle of joy to spend time with all around. I miss them so much!! Another plus is that their house is also located in a walkable area of Silver Lake with things close by such as a grocery store, coffee shop, Silver Lake Reservoir and the long walking/running trail that surrounds it, and it’s very accessible to public transportation to get around different parts of LA. They also have lots of very hilly streets and steep long staircases in the neighborhood you can walk to if you’re up for a good cardio and leg workout😉 I would HIGHLY recommend this sit to anyone! I had an absolute FABULOUS time and would definitely come back in an instant to do it again in the future. Jesse and Megan were fantastic in every way — super kind, warm, communicative, organized, and all around great people! Jesse, Megan, Ziggy, George, and Ringo, I cannot THANK YOU enough again for everything! I had such a wonderful and pleasant experience. Sending you all my absolute best!!!

We were away for several weeks and could not arrange for someone to stay to look after our cat Sheba nor did we want to put her in a cattery. A friend recommended Mel from Animals first and she did a fantastic job visiting daily, providing regular updates and even set up a camera to record Sheba's antics. Sheba is a shy little cat but Mel kept trying her hardest to entice her into playing and engaging but, when that didn't wotk Mel set up regular 'activity centers' which Sheba enjoyed greatly. Would strongly recommend this service for anyone needing a caring and kind service for their animal.
Mel has been helping care for my two older cats this year while I am away regularly with work. Max needs daily medication which Mel has been fantastic as administering. It takes all of the anxiety and worry out of leaving them when you know how well cared for they are. I receive photos and videos from each visit and I think they boys now like Mel and her bags of kitty toys more than they like me! I would 100% recommend Mel and the team to anyone wanting top class care for their cats.
Animal First is absolutely amazing! The wonderful lady took great care of my cat Orange. She showed great responsibility, love, and attention to detail. Not only did she provide care, but she also captured the most adorable moments through a series of heartwarming photos. Highly, highly recommended!
Mel is the most absolutely wonderful cat sitter my two cats have ever had. She came first to meet them and they took an instant liking to her. After the tunnel extravaganza she put on over one Christmas, she has now cemented her place in their hearts forever. I feel completely safe with leave Mel to take care of my two fluffy ones. She is really responsive and takes pictures as well so you can stay in touch with your cat while you are away. I can't quite emphasise enough how highly recommended Mel comes from me. I am sure if my cats could also have a vote they would give her five paws each. Reviewing as I can't remember if I've raved about Mel already. She is a total gem.
I first started using Mel not long after moving to Edinburgh with my 3 girls. I always got nervous leaving them when I was away but Mel is absolutely amazing and I’m now at complete ease whenever I go away. The girls are so well looked after and are most definitely spoilt rotten by her, she’s even won over Bailey who doesn’t warm up easily to anyone! (you can most definitely sense the disappointment when I walk back through the door). She’s always in contact and the amount of photos I get daily just put a cherry on top of everything! I can’t recommend Mel enough!
Mel is a great pet sitter. She brought lots of toys to keep my cats entertained and they sure had a blast. I got lots of photos and videos of them playing, too. The best measure of good pet sitting to me is, are my pets super needy when I return (meaning they didn’t get much attention) or are they simply happy? My girls were super happy and relaxed, so you can bet I’m over the moon with Mel’s service and will ask her again to take care of them when I go on holiday!
We booked Melissa to look after our cat for a week while we traveled abroad. She gave us updates (loads of photos and videos) every day. I'm pretty sure our cat had a better holiday week than we did! The care and love Melissa has for animals really shows and we're very glad we've found her. We would highly recommend Melissa as a cat sitter, and if our cat could type words I'm sure he'd say the same thing!
Mel is an absolutely fantastic cat sitter. I have two Bengal cats who need a lot of attention and playtime. She plays with them far more than any sitter I've had in the past, and brings a host of new toys for them to interact with during each visit. My boys are always excited to see Mel, and she sends me heaps of happy photos and videos of my boys playing every visit. Thank you Mel for taking such great care of my boys!!
My kitty was so well cared for and Mel really seems to love what she does! We were kept posted about how our kitty was doing and which toys she was enjoying. We were sent lots of photos and Mel was always fast to respond to any inquiries we had. So worth it!
Slightly don't want to recommend Mel purely for selfish purposes as I want to keep her to ourselves..! But honestly she's brilliant and our two cats definitely agree. Always a relief to know she's looking after them when we're away, with LOTS of photos of their adventures.
Sharon and Carly did an amazing job with my two silly cats. They loved playing with all the toys! They were very spoiled. This was the first, but certainly not the last time we used Purrfect Paws to look after our boy. Sharon was prompt with communication and her “meet and greet” visit. The setting up of a WhatsApp group enabled Sharon and Carly to send daily updates and photos. This also showed us what a great time Loki had with his “Aunties” (especially the bag of treats and tricks!). He was well looked after and that’s what you want from a great pet sitting service. These girls are amazing! So highly recommended. Both carly and Sharon managed to get my boys to play with toys and be so loving to them when they normally don't. Our wee gizmo is such a timid boy and by the end of the first week he was up giving the girls love which was so reassuring to both me and my partner. 1000/10 recommend for your fur-babies🥰
I was so nervous about leaving my cat for the first time but Sharon and her team were fab! They arranged a home visit for me to meet them and feel comfortable and of course for the cat to met them too. The team kept in constant contact with me on the run up to them looking after the cat and during too with lots of pictures and updates making sure I knew my cat had her medicine etc! Purrfect Paws recently looked after my 3 cats when I was away for 10 days. Sharon and her Team were wonderful and I can't recommend them enough. I recently used Purrfect Paws Midlothian for my two cats. I have to say, from the moment I contacted Sharon, she was so professional and very helpful. Cherie came to meet us and our cats and discussed all the details. It definitely took all the stress and worry away as I just knew they were going to get well looked after. While we were away it was lovely to receive daily updates and pictures when Cherie visited. The cats were happy when we returned. We will definitely be using this service again and again.

What a great first experience using Purrfect Paws to look after our boy Socks while we were on holiday. We were updated daily with pictures of him having loads of fun with the ladies! Waggy Wanderers have been fabulous helping walk/entertain our big fella while myself and the wife are out at work all day. You'll get a serious amount of videograhy and photos of your prized fur ball out and about on his adventures with Laura and his wee doggy pals too which is brilliant to see (few high quality snaps attached for example). Great service 👏
Laura pet sat my house rabbit for a week and was absolutely amazing. It's always scary leaving your pet with someone new for the first time (especially when they're quite sensitive and not particularly fond of people like my boy is!) but Laura was very competent and kind, and really respected his individual needs. I could tell from the daily updates she sent that he was comfortable and being looked after very well, which was so reassuring whilst I was away. She was an absolute godsend and I wouldn't hesitate to have her pet sit for me again in the future.
Laura at Waggy Wanderers Pet Care is simply amazing with our fur baby. From day one she’s worked with us to meet our dogs needs and has helped with his training hugely. Laura takes time to get to know the dogs and really does cater for individual needs. She’s also super flexible and always try’s her best to meet our schedule. I couldn’t recommend Laura more!! Added bonus that Laura shares updates/photos of the walks with us via WhatsApp and Facebook which is so lovely to see. Our dog absolutely loves his time with his Laura!
We have 2 rescue dogs that can be very nervous on walks, and Laura is great with them and they love when they go on their walks with Laura. Laura has been very flexible when helping organise walks to fit the dogs with my shift work, She is very trustworthy and I would highly recommend Laura to anyone.

Laura has been, and is, a fantastic dog walker. She has been walking our dog since Lunan was just 12 weeks old (initially she did call-in puppy visits and then went from solo walks to integrating Lunan into group walks which are fantastic for socialising and tiring out our little one 😊). Laura communicates regularly with photos and videos to show how our dog got on that day/ week as well as checking in each week to ensure what services we need. Laura is incredibly flexible as she has changed days, times and even looked after Lunan in the evening time when events have arisen we have needed to attend. We landed so lucky with Laura and I cannot endorse her enough. She’s diligent, flexible and above all, a lover of dogs(and animals of all types): what else do you need from a dog walker?
Highly recommended. Friendly, professional service and the cats love her. Laura looked after our cats for a week, and we returned to two very chilled and happy cats, she even won over our male cat who can be very aloof with strangers! Laura sent us regular updates and even took care of watering the plants etc, we’ll definitely be using waggy wanderers again.

Our 1 year old cockapoo has been going to Meadowhill for day care once a week for just over 3 months. The staff are excellent, so friendly and happy to answer any questions you might have. Our dog bounds out to the centre without even looking back to say goodbye. I can see him running round with all his friends outside as I leave the car park. It’s really helped to socialise him too.
My black cocker spaniel Jory has attended Meadowhill for almost six years. Firstly because she and my grandchildren were very young and needed protection from each other. They have grown up to be besties together. My dog does have separation anxiety, no sign of that when she trots in for a day at Meadowhill. Staff are approachable and friendly and it’s a great place for Jory to spend a day with her doggy friends.
Cassi has only been going to Meadowhill for around 2 months and I was very nervous after a bad experience elsewhere, I can honestly say they are amazing and made me feel so confident on cassies settle in days. She now runs out the car every time as she knows exactly how much fun she is going to have socialising with all the other fab doggy’s!🐶

I love going to Meadowhill. My humans have chauffeured me there for the past few years. I enjoy meeting my friends for a chase around the play area, my favourite spot is the tyre. The humans at Meadow hill are very caring and friendly. They help us take selfies to show our humans our adventures. I feel very lucky to play there and would give it five paws🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Our dog Oryn has been going to Meadowhill for about 3 years now and absolutely loves it! He gets excited when the car turn the corner at the top of the road as he knows where he is going and can't wait to get out and run inside. They have an outdoor play area, a deck area and a cosy area inside, so the dogs have a great choice of what to do and a rest area when needed. The staff there are all very friendly, take great care of your dogs and they put regular posts on the Facebook page, so you can see what your dogs been up to. I would highly recommend Meadowhill.
Fabulous place for your beloved dog. My lab has been going for ten years and loves it. She comes home about 4pm content and sleepy then rushes out the door at 8.30 to the van for another day. Great staff and I have peace of mind when she is there. Don't know what I would do without them.

My super anxious, tiny little rescue dog has been going to the play center 1-2 days a week for about a year and he LOVES it. Loves the dogs but as he’s now an older gent, mostly enjoys cuddles from the lovely people who work there and watch the dogs. From pick up and drop off to a report card and pictures/videos, he is in such good hands with Alicia and her staff. I’ve also free-sleep boarded him with Alicia’s team (short weekends all the way up to 9 nights), and he is so taken care of and happy when he gets to have sleepovers there. Would definitely recommend!
*Day care* Alicia and her team are the best. Our energetic cockapoo puppy has been attending the day care since its opening day, and we couldn't be happier. Alicia truly cares for each and every dog, and takes the time to get to know them and understand them. What really makes her day care different (and better) than all others is that she (and her team) carefully and lovingly teach doggy manners to make sure every dog is comfortable and safe. The picture updates are a great bonus, too. Our boy comes home tired and happy every time!
We have a tricky little rescue dog who we never thought would be able to go to a doggy daycare… until we met Alicia! Now our dog goes every week to daycare, has started to play with the other dogs and loves to get cuddles from the staff there. We always know she’s in safe hands and will be securely dropped off at home. This has been a life changer for us! Thanks team!
My puppy has been going to Alicia's for a couple of months and he absolutely loves it. Personally, I love the little summary I receive at the end of the day with pictures and videos, and I feel safe leaving my dog in the Alicia's capable hands.
Alicia, Andreia, and the rest of the team are so good. They not only take such good care of our manic energy bundle, Smokey, but are always so communicative and professional. The stories and pictures they send about the dogs is extremely sweet and always a great part of the day. Best part of the day though is when Smokey comes home tired from all the rambunctious play. Cannot possibly recommend Alicia strongly enough.
These guys really care about integrating your dog into their walking group and they do in-walk training that helps the more nervous dog adjust. Andreia has done great work with Rusty and his general dog interaction has been much improved since the group walks began. Plus constant feedback and photos from the walkers. Thanks Alicia and crew.

Jolly goes to Alicia's House of Paws about once a week depending when my partner goes to the office. I love that she's able to play outdoors all day (although there is a summer House for cold days) meeting up with her doggy pals. Staff are always helpful and respond quickly on WhatsApp. We get photos, videos and a review of the day it's great to see what she's up to when I'm not around! Thanks Alicia and team!
Melissa looked after my wee boy Caspian during end stage heart failure. He needed multiple tablets and 2 injections daily and was not the easiest cat. Melissa managed with ease and Caspian really loved her visiting. Now she continues to look after my other kitties who equally enjoy her company and she is the first sitter I have found who I completely trust. I would highly recommend.
Fantastic doggy daycare. Cleo is a rescue dog that did not have a lot of confidence when first starting, but the staff have been brilliant with her and now she loves being there :)
In my experience, the owner, Jane, and staff at Cranstoun Kennel are knowledgeable and loving towards the dogs in their care. They handle special requests very well and are friendly and helpful to their customers. I have boarded my dogs there for both short and long trips, and I always feel that my dogs are in good, loving hands. The owners live on-site and keep a watchful eye on things. The facility is kept very clean and neat, and the kennel is always prepared for my dog so that the drop-off process is quick and smooth. I've recommended Cranstoun Kennel to many of my friends; they are open all year round with radiant heat to keep your dogs toasty warm in winter and soft Scottish breezes to cool them in summer.
Hector is happy to go off on his ‘holidays’ to Cranstoun, whilst we go on ours content in the knowledge he’s being well looked after.
These kennels have changed our lives. I thank my lucky stars that we found them. After too many years of not going on holiday. We are now travelling the world, knowing our dogs are happy and being well looked after here.

Very experienced friendly owners and staff, made in easy for us to leave our furry family in their care. Really, clean well organised kennels, with super outside areas for exercise. We will definetely use again and highly recommend trying even if your wary of leaving your dogs in someone else's care. Ours trotted in tails wagging and trotted out tails wagging after their 4 day stay. We particularly appreciate being able to specify dietary needs and medications in detail. We also appreciated the staff being able to recognise our dogs personalities and accurately describe them to us. A sure sign of a great depth of knowledge.

My dog Nala has been coming here for around 2 yrs due to her anxiety of being left alone at home from a few months old. Alan and the team are great with her and she seems to love the staff here to. Nala goes to daycare when we're working and whenever we're going on holiday, shes here for the week or two. I noticed a few negative reviews implying that the pets aren't getting fed as the owners have been handed the food back when picking up their pets. Alan supplies meals of wet, dry or raw depending on what your pet is on and this is included in the price. I cant recommend this place highly enough and I know Nala is well looked after.
After being rushed into hospital Alan & his team looked after my Bordeux " Boss " . I can't thank them enough to the point he made regular trips ether for dog day care & or walks as loved it that much. He would walk away from us never look back & jump into Alan's van , now that speaks volumes!!! Alan & his staff always went above and beyond like Boss was there own I will use no other kennel, full stop !! Thank you so much for making Boss's last months the best , same again this speaks volumes!! Ali

Recently had our cat Burrito stay for 10 days at Nivensknowe while we were on holiday and couldn't recommend it more. They offer pick up and drop off and were happy to update with any questions we had whilst away. The price is also very reasonable. the council took my cat there due to family problems, he was only there a week and the last visit I saw him FINISHED, They only have a stove that doesn't even heat the hut completely, they don't put a pittance of sand in it so they can relieve themselves.I don't know what they will put in his food but my cat has died and supposedly his kidneys were failing, he stopped walking, he couldn't not even stand up, he vomited a strong yellow liquid as if from poisoning, may he rest in peace Robin 🕊️🤍, the service there is terrible, no one ever serves you and when they do so without interest, there are dogs crying non-stop and it is incredibly cold to the place where they have them. I HOPE I listened to the reviews and didn't leave my cat there. PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR CREATURES THERE.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 i hope this place closes very soon ,if your animal has died here please contact me!
Left my dog for 3 nights. He got dropped of clean, happy and healthy. Also packed his food with him. When he got picked up he was covered in mud/dirt, all wet and stinky. Had to bath him as soon as he got home. Since he been home he haven't eaten his food and he haven't been his usual self. On top of that he been sick twice (definitely not a dog food he been fed there ) it's actually concerning how they are "looking after" the animals.
Ruth at PetStay is an absolute legend. Every time I’ve needed to book our toller in she’s linked us up with a wonderful carer (same family every time luckily, our dog loves them). She also linked a family members dog up with a carer a week before our wedding when there were no other options which saved the day. Fab service and can’t praise enough 😊
Could not recommend Petstay or Ruth highly enough. Immediately felt at ease during our first meeting with Ruth and Ann & Les. It is very obvious they love dogs and Max could sense that too as was not bothered when we left him. Regularly updated with photos & videos of his adventures. Max had a ball. He can't wait for his next visit in a few weeks.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. Pet Stay said they could cover a weekend for me. Booked to meet a carer - I had to take a day annual leave because the carer’s availability was so limited. Pet Stay cancelled this at short notice. They then rebooked me with someone else. This was also then cancelled. Spent a month wasting time emailing back and forth in total. This seems like a really disorganised and unreliable company - I’d not trust them with my dog.

We picked Clyde up after leaving him with Silverwitch for a long weekend. Yet again he was looked after so well meaning we could relax and not worry whilst away. The staff are so lovely. We will definitely be back & highly recommend these kennels.
Our young golden retriever has stayed at Silverwitch a few times, for short and long stays. The staff have been very attentive to his needs as occasionally he’s needed medication administered and been on restricted exercise, all of his needs have been accommodated with no issues. He always goes in and comes out very happy. It’s lovely seeing photos of him having fun with his dog pals during his stays.
Our two Golden Retrievers are regular visitors to Silverwitch. They are very well looked after in a beautiful setting. The Silverwitch team are excellent.
Silverwitch is a five star location for anyone's family dog looking for a temporary home. A recent second stay at Silverwitch for our spaniel Ghillie was again very successful. The standard of the kennels are excellent and Laura's very caring team are there to keep order (as best they can when dealing with a couple of dozen visitors all barking at once).
We were very impressed by the care offered by Silverwitch for our 2 labs who had never been in kennels before and were very content and seemed to have a lovely time with lots of new friends! I would definitely use silverwitch again and would recommend

Silverwitch kennels is a well organised dog hotel where the guests are looked after with care and kindness. The doggy guests are given lots of walks and for our big girl this makes her very happy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Silverwitch to prospective customers.

We have been taking Coco to Meadowhill since we adopted her which is eight years. She is really happy there and we do not have any complaints. She is due to go back in November . We would not put her anywhere else when we are away. Extremely pleased with the service provided. I have attached a couple of photos.
I have been taking my two cats to Meadowhill for the past three years and can honestly say it is the best cattery they have stayed at. The staff are friendly, welcoming, very cat-loving and happy to do whatever is requested to make your pet's stay as happy and stress-free as possible. The individual kennels are quite spacious,spotlessly clean and tidy and the situation of the kennels is ideal too - in a quiet rural setting surrounded by fields and trees. I wholeheartedly recommend.
Meadowhill staff are so kind and caring in looking after our cats and the modern facilities are always clean and peaceful. Our bonded pair of cats, Kola and Milo, share an enclosure and they are always in great condition when we pick them up, often after two weeks. Staff know the cats well and provide a very personal service. We have used Meadowhill three or four times a year for the past two years and can highly recommend them.
This was the first time I used a cattery for my 4 cats and to be expected they were unsure about their surroundings but the staff made them feel at ease as much as possible. I would recommend this cattery as their booths are big enough for two cats and they are well cared for. I hope to use this cattery again the future if I'm getting work carried out in the house or going on holiday. Thank you to Paul and all the staff for making my cats less stressful. Highly recommended.
The best cattery I’ve ever used. Beautifully clean, spacious, warm in winter, cool in summer, exercise and sleep areas available within enclosed and separate ‘rooms’. Staff are lovely and my girl settles very quickly when there and then when back home. I’m very happy with Meadowhill.
Duggee has just returned from his 3rd stay at Meadowhill (and longest) and although he’s an outdoor cat and probably doesn’t love going, and can be a fussy eater, he’s returned as happy and as plump as ever! It gives us peace of mind knowing he’s somewhere clean, professional and local to us. Highly recommend.
Would not place my cat, Lexi, anywhere else. The team take the time to get to know her preferences and I know she is well looked after when i am away. Lexi also behaves far better and is not so fussy an eater with Meadowhill than she is with me!
If your looking for a clean, reliable, caring, well maintained and well staffed stay for your beloved cat, Meadowhill is the place to use. Our furry family member can be timid, but always settles well and looks like he would be happy to stay longer when we collect him. The staff can give you a full detail of how he's been and what he's ate. You can truly tell that they enjoy looking after the pets in their care.
Meadowhill is in a class of its own. The care and attention given to my cat has been second to none. Paul, Wayne and Catherine are such caring animal lovers I know that there is no need to worry about my cat even though she is sixteen and a half and has a kidney issue. The facilities are more than comfortable in fact luxurious compared to most places. A truly wonderful find.
I have used Meadowhall for a number of years now. Their facilities are excellent and the cat pens are warm, comfortable and very clean. It’s clear that as well as providing a great service they really love the pets in their care. My cat is elderly, nearly 18, and very grumpy but is really well looked after.
