Caitlin & Tal were absolutely unbelievably incredible, there isn't anyone I would reccomend as highly as them, if you're considering housesitting for them, or working with them at all, you absolutely should!! They were genuinely the kindest, most generous, respectful, gratious, caring people I've ever housesat for, and they really made a difference in my experience. They were always such excellent communicators, not only were they always available to answer questions, but they were always kind and upfront about everything they needed, always so fun and sweet to chat with! They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and even offered to pay for a couple walks so I could go out for longer during my stay there! It was really clear they love their dog very much, and wanted whoever stayed with her to have the very best time as well. The apartment is stunning, perfect New York spot if you're visiting, or just looking for a little staycation! The apartment is gorgeous, cozy, and has everything you need! The neighborhood is wonderful, such friendly people, and delicious food. The doorpeople in the building are especially friendly too, always super helpful, and lovely to chat with! Peach, Caitlin, & Tal were stand up hosts (especially Peach!), and the epitome of what this website is all about. If you want a fun experience with kind, caring, generous people, they really provide that for you while you care for their sweet Peach!! They make it all worth your time, and are the very best people. Peach is the sweetest dog ever!! She is so kind, goofy, sweet, cuddly, and adventurous. She really loved going out for walks, going to the park, and exploring the neighborhoods with me. She has a sensitive stomach, so we got to experiment with cooking a few different foods for her (not a requirement at all, but just something I enjoyed!) which was such fun, and she's an excellent sous chef! Peach will keep you company, and make you feel better if your ever in a bad mood. She knows just how to lift you up, is a pleasure to peacefully spend time with, and is such a fantastic pup. This experience meant a lot to me, and really helped me through a hard time. I would highly reccomend sitting with Caitlin, Tal, & Peach, they are incredibly kind, and she's the very best pup to be with!!
What a delightful time we had with Molly. She is the absolute sweetest girl. She loves to be with people and will be happy as can be hanging out or going for walks. Cathy was amazing with her communication and setting us up to be as comfortable as possible. Their home is lovely with everything you would need to have a great sit. There is a convenient grocery store only a 4 minute walk away. We loved sitting for Cathy, and spending time with their sweet pup.
I had a wonderful experience house and pet sitting for Margaret and Ron at High Rock Lake in NC. They are wonderful hosts and very easy going people. Their fur baby Tribble is adorable and joy to be around. Tribble is very playful and has a wonderful loving personality , she is a true therapy dog ! We enjoyed lovely walks in peaceful and beautiful neighborhood at High Rock Lake in NC. I would gladly house and pet sit for them again ! Highly recommend Margaret and her pet Tribble !
I had a great time with Pete and Minnie. They're easy to care for, love company and are mostly calm, cooperative and fun. Clare and Rolf are relaxed and welcoming, and genuinely wanted me to enjoy my stay. They have a lovely home, friendly and helpful neighbours and everything is within easy reach without a car.
Derek is a lovely, clever, inquisitive cat who seemed happy to share his house with us for a few days. Jess and Andrew’s home is a lovely terraced cottage that is cosy, comfortable and clean. The area is beautiful, nice walks, good pubs and shops all in walking distance from the house. We enjoyed our stay.
I'd recommend this sit to any sitters that have the blessing of coming across it. For me, sitting Bodhi and Neesa was lovely. Jennifer is welcoming and kind, Bodhi and Neesa are charming, and Jennifer's home is lovely and light-filled. Jennifer was an amazing pup-parent, very considerate and welcoming. Ahead of the sit, she was kind enough to have me stay a day in advance of the start of the sit. It was extremely helpful, so that I could learn about the pups and their food schedule. Raw food was somewhat new to me, and Jennifer helped me to create absolute clarity around the raw food necessities. She also was warm and available via text through the entire sit, which was extremely helpful when questions would crop up. I'd only met one other Shiba up to this sit, and I was a bit worried from my limited knowledge and experience of the breed. In the face of my experience with Bodhi and Neesa, my concern was a pointless waste of time. They are sweet, mischievous, stubborn, and still very obedient. By their natures, Bodhi is a distinguished gentleman, and Neesa is a bit of a rebellious teen. Both are very loving, and mostly laid back, until they perceive a potential threat, and then they're both in protection mode. They are fun to walk, though Bodhi may struggle at the start. He is a homebody in the truest sense. They both are very food motivated, so keep that in mind when you're making food. They aren't counter-surfers, but they may try!
